  1. Just checked all 10 leagues matchups and not one of my opponents has the VC on Zorko – thank you SC Gods!

    441 / 5 / undecided

Will enjoy the high of having Zorko while absorbing the lows of Neale (to be expected with a tag), Hawkins (regretful trade in from last week -at this stage), T Stewart (wasn’t expecting that) and Madden on field . A bit disappointing after the joy of being able to place all the premiums back onto the field after the bye rounds, only for them not to perform to the standards we were hoping for. Hopefully the weekend improves.

  2. 329/3/vc Zorko
    Two Vc’s in a row,
Brought in Danger a week early due to Impey, which appears to be an ok move thus far.
And Stewart had a poor game, but got some points late thankfully .
On track for a pretty good round, but as we all know it can change quickly.

    Could take madden’s 51
But I think I’ll stick with Bergman
    Good luck coaches

  3. Thanks GD,
I thought/hoped that Zork would be fired up after getting suspended and possible tag going to Neale.

Got a few concerns still with my side,I still have Crippa & Fyfe but not been able to do much about it, due to the usual other bigger problems, I hope Fyfe at least can play a few more games on the trot.
One shining light has been Cunnington, who I picked up before the byes for cover.

    1. Well done Smurfo.

      VC Zorko is gold!

I have a feeling Crippa may go alright this week v The Crows.

They have been giving up some big scores to mids this year.

I don’t own him in SC but as a Freo fan I’m hoping Fyfe is ok too.

Best of luck for the rest of the round.

Funnily enough zorkos massive score balanced out Stewart’s terrible score so my overall projected didn’t alter! Bring on tomorrow!

  5. 215 / 3 / Steele into Bont.

Well trading out Zorko during the Byes didn’t really work out !

Stewart and Hawkins were very average but it could of been so much worse. Both gave away some really bad free kicks, ( 9 between them ) but managed to do enough late to salvage something.

Danger came in, and was on 74 at half time. The Cats didn’t show up in the second half and he crept to 97. I still think he will be great value going forward.

My projected score has dropped from 2406 to 2334. I hope this trend doesn’t continue.

Congrats to lisa and co who held Zorko, he alone should see you move up the rankings this week.

    1. 756 / 7 / Steele.

      I still have CCJ’s 67 to drop as well. So it’s really 823 / 8 / Steele.

I have Highmore’s score ( 91 ) available through L Jones. I’m just not sure I want to bench Ridley or Haynes. I think I will just let it ride,as any late outs ( in defence ) Sunday could lead to a disaster.

      Looking forward to Super Saturday.

  6. 226/2/Laird or Bont
Off to an OK start, but expected more from Guthrie. Probably won’t take Lyons VC, score so will take Captain
    TU: Bont
    TD: Laird

    1. Hi cotch,
Bird in the hand as they say.
Ridley Ave against Demon is 64
Is he playing a different role?
After his first 5 rds and then got concussion I think in the next game, his scoring has
      Slowed some what

  8. 1615/15/Gawn

Merrett, Steele, Grundy, Miller – brilliant

Stewart, Cameron, Hall, Lloyd – aweful

Gawn, Oliver, Langford, Mills, Short, Dusty, Ziebell – acceptable

Kelly, Taranto, Greene, Bont, Daniel, Macrae, Laird to come

Will be very happy with 2400 given start of the round projected was >2500

    Good luck tomorrow everyone!

  9. 1286 (will be 1,524 once Reeves out kicks in and I get Gawn’s 103 and Grundy’s C).

VC’d Grundy based off of his massive numbers at Marvel and the fact that not many would go Grundy after returning from injury.

Currently have 9 remaining: Taranto, Whitfield, Greene, Daniel, Kelly, Mitchell, Macrae, Laird, Walsh.

Pretty happy so far, I imagine there will be a lot of teams going massive this week.

  12. 1459 / 13 / Miller

Bog average again. Second week in a row that I traded in a ‘premium’ who turned into a pumpkin (Bolton!). Good stuff from Zorko and Merrett helps though.

Terrible round for me. Cripps really going to be the end of me…. if it wasn’t for Duncans injury, would have turned him into Bont. Ouch
