  1. 172 / Neale

Yep, I’m the only coach in the universe that doesn’t have Dusty, Macrae or Pickett. It’s going to be a loooong weekend.

Macrae, Martin, Mickett and Bith (just made those up, are they even a thing?)

Best start to a round in a while. Dusty, you magnificent bastard! Now, for it all to come crashing down…

  6. 524/5/ Gawn
Macrae, great , then Bazlenka, Gawn, Viney all sub 90.
Would love to see the data of how many have captained Gawn and how many on debut.
It is going to be an interesting 20 days.

      1. Gawn sits at number ten with 3143 trades, 1.7%
(Close is leading the chart with a 41080 trades, 21.7%)

  7. 1,022/9/MacRae

    Should be 947/8/MacRae

But supercoach has given me Aarts 75 in replace for Rivers (C) in def. Seems strange.

Macrae, Titch, Cripps and Neale all went big and a handy 106 from Pickett. Will set my double upgrade (Hurn & Ryder) into motion tmmrw. 2400+ may be on the cards barring any disastrous scores. We’ll see.

Shout out to the hawks. Titch had a cracker, and nice of Wingard to show up this week. Some outs in DEF means I have no bench, fingers crossed for the rest of the round!

  10. 1582/14/Macrae

Only rookies left on field to play are Rankine and Serong which I’m confident in. Couple of my main PODs playing tomorrow which will make or break the rest. Hopefully hit my first 2400+ for the year.

  11. Glad to see some big numbers projected. The uber premos are starting to deliver so that’s good news. A game off from Captain Gawn (not his fault) and my plan to load up with Dees and Bombers for the byes is not working , hope they bounce back next round. Aiming for 2250-2300. Not catastrophic.

  12. 2,053 / 18 / Macrae

Rankine, Whitfield, Grundy and Brayshaw to come. Could push 2,500 if I’m lucky. Where would that put me rank wise this round?

  13. 1898 / 17 / Neale.

    Still to play..

    Whit, JKelly, Grundy, Rankine, Budarick.

I’m hoping Buda outscores Close’s 53 as I picked him on field.

Just Ok scores from McKay ( on Debut ), Ryder and Yeo ,and yet another disappointing score from Hurn.

I’m very tempted to rage / sideways trade him to Stewart on his Bye.

Lets hope this sunny Sunday can deliver a few decent scores, and another move up the rankings.

Oh, a few league wins wouldn’t go astray either. 😉

    Best of luck people.

Tight battle with Gun boat but I think you have me covered

    PBuzz wins T/u

    1. Sorry PBuzz.

I had to vote Gunboat in a close one.

Kelly’s form is just too good.

Congrats on holding Brayshaw, he and Petracca look like being SC staples for years too come.

        1. Brayshaw maybe..

He started the year with low time on ground. Not so much spending time forward.

I’m hoping Petracca goes from Forward only to M/F.

He seems to split his time pretty much 50/50 mid forward.
          Similar to Dusty in 2019.

He will be very highly owned if he can maintain some form of forward status.

Don’t even mention if Fyfe spends most of the rest of the year forward.

          Nate Fyfe M/F hell yeah!!

    2. Don’t count yourself out yet, P.

Kelly may plummet back down to earth and I’ve got a feeling Haynes is gonna go large.

Hopefully we both crack 2400, best of luck!

      1. Hey Gunboat and Freo Tragic
Not confident but happy for us to both go 2400
GB our league had been going up through the ranks thanks largely to the sharing on this site and some of your contributions.
Funnily enough went Macrae as Vc thanks to your advice and you didn’t select him but Neale as your captain returned a similar. Result

        1. Yep, league’s doing well.

VC’d Gawn instead of Macrae, thought Gawn would go 200. Neale came to the rescue np lol.

          1. I’m projected ( 2397 ) to just split you too.

lets hope we all tip over the 2400.

Never to early to plan for next week..
I need an early playing downgrade.
It comes down to 2 atm.

            Skinner and Ballenden.

Skinner has the better first score with a few snags.

I fear Ballenden has the better JS as the back up Ruck.

Anyone heard from Daniels Riches lately ?

He is usually a very sound word on all things Brisbane.

            Anyway good luck all.

  15. 1674 / 16 / Neale C

Jelly, Haynes, Whitfield, Greenwood, Rankine, & Grundy to come.

Happy I hung onto King, traded out Dev, and brought in Lloyd. Still fielding 5 rookies, and feeling like I might rage trade Simpkin and Doc this week.

          1. Very good.

Toby is a very gutsy pick. Paid off last week and wouldn’t bet against him doing it again.

Greenwood has been on fire this year.

            2400+ well within range.

            Good luck today

            1. Greene was Brought in this week. I though I may as well go on his roller coaster ride. It was either him or Ryder

              1. I got Ryder 2 rounds back for Pitto at R2.

I was hoping he could be a stepping stone to Gawn. Big Max’s score this week may actually allow this to happen.

Ryder ..I’m not sure with price now, and his injury history, he would be a Keeper at F6/ Ruck cover.
He looked like he hurt his hand last game. I’m just hoping he can last a few more games and stay over $5ooK.
Then I can jump on Gawn when he bottoms out.
He will probably still be over $700K.

Time to go shopping for some downgrades.
