      • Thanks Maver_ick,
But it is only one game in a long weekend, filled with many unknowns. With the plethora of debutantes it is going to be a hard task to snag the right ones.

I have already taken TDK’s VC score as indicated by my total.

Good luck with this round and the rest of the season.

        Cheers CT

  1. 304/3 TDK VC, Cerra & Trainor .
Hewett missing the best 23 this afternoon is the only way I’m happy to grab the VC i think and have him there til he’s named. But I do believe he makes the Eagles final side today.

  2. If you have him in your team, what’s everyone doing with L Ashcroft if confirmed he is starting sub?

TU – swap him out for another playing rookie?
TD – hold on the bench?

    • I’m looking at moving up to Finn O’Sullivan. A bit pricier but almost a like-for-like with regards to the rules of cowquisition.

    • You must have reckoned with that possibility before the round started? That you didn’t have a loop and might drill a good VC score.

      Don’t worry – Gawn going 160+.

        • Nank was the one who got him to 148 lmao. 5 FAs, 4 to TDK. +16 on frees, then the disposal themselves lol.

          Yeah, Maxxy just obliterates Keefe.

  3. Just a thought for a thread….one off perhaps….

We have all made decisions – pick player A, drop player B in the very last week – to fit into salary cap, or we had a ‘gut’ feel, or we just tossed the coin…

How did it work for you?
Example – had Nank, swapped to TDK = +34 points or vice versa -34

I’m looking at my selections (who I had in team for months then dropped for whatever reason) to see how well I have done (vindicate my decisions) – wonder if others doing same?

    • Had NOD until later this morning when I decided my midfield needed improving. Did an upgrade and he was the collateral damage to afford my change. NOD 91, my replacement M Reid 50. Bye bye 41 points.

    • Changed Meek back to DeKoning (I made a full round Zero team for laughs). Big win. +70

Tsatas to Powell Pepper, lost everything I gained lol. Actually -32

Naicos, Brayshaw, Perryman, Hobbs and Knevitt to Serong, Kelly, Sam DeK, Callaghan and Murphy Reid. Totals still yet to be determined but the only loss so far was Knevitt to Reid.

But Kelly and Callaghan have scored virtually nothing since half time,s o that could all end up as a zero sum game.

  4. Ouch. My most expensive player also my lowest score so far. Even with knevitt as flex I have a 43, 50, 61 on-field.

    1076 from 11 looping TDK

  5. Should I trade out Neale for Dunkley? Would allow me to upgrade Sanders to Smith? Or is Rozee or someone else a better option as M1?

  6. Good chance that one of my most expensive players is going to get Flexed out, was tossing up between him and Dunkley, once again dodged when I should have weaved. One spot left in my league, 199534.
Currently sitting around 1570 for the round with hopefully a big Sunday to come.

  7. Currently 2024 with Callaghan, Kelly and Oliver in play at Half Time and Stone and Leake on the bench, and Hewett on Bench to come. Dunno if they’ve removed SPP for my flex yet or not, but looks like a 2100+ score which isn’t too bad a start given some really bad rookie scores.

C (Xerri), stupidly went with Serong VC over TDK. Unfortunate but certainly not a disaster.
