  1. 189/2/Brayshaw into Clarry

Was wondering if just having 19 this week would be enough for a really good score and then saw someone in my league only missing Cooper Stephens and Josh Dunkley this week. There’s some crazy people out there.

    1. 19 will be deadly, Johnno. Nice.

Think most are rocking 16-17. No Preuss will set a lot (myself included) to 16.

Nailing the captaincy will be determinative this week. 16 and a drilled C will beat 18 and a bungled C.

On my end it was just Butters tonight. Satan C and then Darcy and Neale battling it out for VC in my head rn.

      1. I might be a little optimistic with my 19. Got 17 named in their starting 22 plus Wehr and Preuss who I’m really hoping will get me to 18 or 19.

I completely agree on the captain. I’m hoping a good team beating up on the hawks can score really well. Reckon Darcy will go huge but I understand the hesitancy after last week. I’m hoping Brayshaw can ride his coattails a little and have a game where he doesn’t completely butcher the ball.

  2. 189 / VC Walsh / C Gawn.

I have 18 if Wehr plays.

Rookies are, Wehr, Butler, Owens, Petracca ?

    1. Sunday update.

      1351 / 14 / Oliver.

Trac , Gawn, Oliver C and Cameron to come.

Pretty happy with most of my trades this week..

Out.. Baz, Carrol, SDK and McComb
In. Walsh, Wehr, Owens and Cogs.

I traded Cogs out a few weeks ago, Decided to trade him back in for Baz as I wanted Walsh over Merrett, worked out ok so far.

  3. Don’t these AFL coaches know that their selection policies are more important than life or death ????

  4. I’ve been struck down hard. No preuss will be the icing on the cake with 12 players available before trades… Rioli, carrol, Hayes, preuss all out is painful. Honestly don’t know what to do with trades

  5. 252/3/Oliver C , Walsh VC

After using 3 trades, I’ll have 17 confirmed playing including Wehr and Preuss but can turn Wehr into Boyd if necessary so definitely 16 for me this week.

    1. Desperate attempt to not get Dawsons !!! Thats an in league joke/comment !! Can explain if anyone wants.

  6. 252/3/Darcy into Oliver.

A decent start, hopefully Darcy stands up this week, as he carried the C very poorly last week.

  7. 263/3/Walsh into Hodor (atm)
Brought Walsh in and chucked the VC on him – hopefully drops a lazy 150 tonight… 18 starters… oh what could have been if Houston realised there were 2 halves to a football match…

    1. I’m taking it.

If Clarry matches his best v Pies (136), he’s only putting 10 points on the board. Not worth the risk.

  8. 502/5/Brayshaw to Clarry

13 to come so everyone needs to score. Would be great if Curtis, Perez, Butler and Wehr could have season best games this weekend At this stage hoping for MacDonald to be named sub and get a run at some stage

  9. 815/7/Cripps

Have 18 this week with Owens my only rookie to come. Optimistically hoping for 2000 and a nice ranking boost

    3

    4
  10. 598 / 6 / VC was Cripps – tossing up on just banking the 126.
9 more to come, plus whoever I trade in means I’ll field 17 or 18 (+ Preuss if he gets named, which looks unlikely – really torn and considering upgrading to Gawn, even though that wasn’t in the original plan).

  11. The Supercoach voices in my head said get Parish, Darcy & Owens.
The Supercoach Gods are pi$$ing themselves laughing.

  12. 782/8/clarry – had owens – hope the young dude is ok, and preuss probably won’t play so will have 18

have sinclair, owens and neale in this game, currently running at 989, currently predicted 1900

  13. 868/8(17)/Jelly

Projected 1827. Captain Jelly, Cogs, Wehr, JHF, Curtis, Oliver, Trac, Gawn, Crisp to come.

  14. 1161/11/Brayshaw VC but taking it

Gosh I hope Owens is ok. As a saints fan I get scared with young players and concussion but hopefully he’ll be right.

Personally I’ll be very lucky to get to 1800 but feeling good about my captain at least until Ovliver inevitably goes off for 170. Merrett also hasn’t been great as a recruit this week but Sinclair has done more than his job

  15. 1325/13(20)/kelly (vc cripps)
Ive already taken parish and owens scores out
I have cogs, kelly(c), goldy, green and wehr to come.
Im looking at a good cscore it seems.

Im really low in the rankings so am rrying to decide if i go for broke and risk kelly C instead of the safe play of cripps VC?

  16. 1177/12, Projected 1886

6 to play Jelly (c) Wehr, Jed Anderson, Max, Crisp & Angus Brayshaw.

Coleman scoring 99 was a bonus although he was 76 at half time!!

Coleman was going to be traded next week but he may stay at F6, averaging 90 in last 5 with def/fwd loop with McCartin (bench). Depends on what Anderson does today as to who goes.

  17. question im confused over.
i made 4 trades this week. out went SDK, mccomb, hayes and paddy mc for sinclair, owens, merrett and wehr.
Wehr is on bench with 66, i cant use. I now may be light in rd 14 (owen out, butters out, preuss maybe , no mrj). Should i reverse paddy mc in and trade out daicos and use Wehr’s 66.
TU bring Paddy back in (rd 14 and possible future def/fwd cover) and trade Daicos (have 66pts)
TD keep Daicos (possible future def/mid cover) and struggle rd 14

predicted to win all my 9 league games even using Wehr
    thx all!

  18. 1350/13/Neale
Currently project to reach 1860 with Oliver, Gawn, Petracca, Crisp and Daicos to play.
Neale is my VC but I’m taking no risk and accepting his score as my captain. I might miss out on around 25 points if Oliver has a 150 score, but could lose 100 if he gets injured 1st term.
Currently looking to win all but 1 matches this week which make me feel I might be slightly above par this week

  19. Sunday update:

    1217/13/Oliver

Gawn, Oliver, Lipinski and that’s it – bloody horrible R13 bye for the Ninjas will see me drop out of top 400 to 2000-2500 I’m guessing but plenty of bodies for R14 and team pretty much finished off so hoping to climb back up the remainder of the season.

Good luck all for tomorrow and farewell to the dreaded bye rounds after that!

  20. 1673/15/Coniglio

Just fielding the 16 this week (ty GWS) and looked to be on the ropes after Parish, Owens and Darcy but the joint C on Cogs with Abs has me projected towards something respectable.

  21. 1504/15/Brayshaw

Took the c off Cogs last night after Brayshaw’s 135 thinking there’s no way to regret it. Still the right call but hurts to lose 40 points there. Hopefully Clarry, Cameron and Crisp can get me to 1800 which will hopefully see me hold rank or move up slightly.

  22. 1491 / Brayshaw / Projected 1849

Like many took a pounding at the selection table with Preuss, Hayes, and Macdonald out so had to trade into green dots. Owens was unfortunate (and hope the kids okay). Sinclair solid on debut. Hope Gawn turns in a respectable score. Also Cameron and Clarry to have a run. Parish, Zorko, and Butters are next weeks possible issues.

So much planning and still had to make 4 trades to field 17… the Byes are the winner.

  23. 1556/Neale/projected 2014
Gawn Oliver Petracca Cameron to go. Pretty happy with my week a part from new recruit Parish. Wehr and Curtis were solid. Not sure whether I roll the dice on Gawn C though to counteract my opponent who has him C. 1 vs 2 in my league. I’m 45 behind with just Cameron left as the pod.

  24. Take Neales C score of 123 or rely on Oliver today.

I am 154 ahead of my opponent who has Gawn to come. Any Gawn score under 154 will win it for me

  25. 1762/15/Cripps VC

Gawn, Oliver and Daicos to come. Would be nice to have to back-to-back 2,000 scores in the bye weeks.

Shout out to Abs with the Zerrett persuasion.
