SC Racing – Round 4

Round 3 of SuperCoach Racing has been run and won and Way is once again the top ranked stable in the SuperCoachTalk group. Way’s stable Dancing Madman@sct came out with 192 points for the round which sees Way sitting at 136th overall. Well done Way! Dean’s stable Stewy’s Stable led the way for the round with 259 points. We have 8 stables ranked inside the top 1,000 which is great to see.

See below my thoughts on some of the main races to target this week. Another tough week with only the Cox Plate card to choose from this week. For anyone that hasn’t joined yet please feel free to join the group code 392619 (or league as they call it in SC Racing).

As always, note that the below is purely based off SuperCoach value and SuperCoach options and is in no way shape or form a betting preview of the races.

Moonee Valley – Race 9 Group 1 Cox Plate

A cracking field assembled here for what should a great race. Plenty of options here with Zaaki ($450,000) heading the early markets and is not the only expensive option in the race with Verry Elleegant ($500,000) also a good option despite the hefty price tag. Anamoe ($275,000) looks the best value option in the race.

Moonee Valley – Race 5 Group 2 Fillies Classic

This looks to be the best race to target a few of the better cheaper options this week. Any of Heresy ($175,000), Fortunate Kiss ($100,000) and Maracana ($150,000) look to be great bargain options for this week.

Moonee Valley – Race 7 Group 2 Vase

We have a large field of 3 year olds assembled here for the Vase and within it we have what I would describe as the lock of the week. Forgot You ($125,000) simply must be included in your stables this week.

Best of the Rest

The options don’t end there for the week, Floating Artist ($200,000) and Pondus look good options in race 8, while Elephant ($200,000) and Buffalo River ($325,000) are another couple of good options for race 6.

Good luck to all for this round of SuperCoach Racing. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on your stables for round 4 and don’t forget to join the group.

Cheers

  1. Love it mate.
I’m finding it hard to go past Harpo Marx in the 8th personally but lots of good horses running this week. Will be tough.

  2. Thoroughly enjoying my first SC Racing season and as a non horse fan it’s still enjoyable. I do find though that it’s far too easy to assemble a decent stable each week. My stable this week has all the group 1 and group 2 favourites and is filled out by horses that are all close to favouritism in the market. Was expecting it to be more complex to assemble a decent stable.

  3. Hoping to follow up my high score from last week and continue my climb up the overall rankings. After scratchings this morning I’ve ended up with this:
Anamoe, Mo’unga and Veery Elleegant in the G1 Cox Plate. Not sure which of those three will win so my captain is Forgot You in the Vase.
Elephant is a gimme now that Buffalo River has been scratched.
Fortunate Kiss to get the choccies in R5 and Pondus and Floating Artist to run the quinella in R8.
Ollie to boot home in the Jockeys Challenge gives me 260+ points from this week I reckon.
    Good luck all.
