This week’s SCT Coach of the Week is Daniel of Massa’s Machines, a LoEC #2 competitor, who put up a mighty 2057 in a round marred by carnage. Drilling the Macrae VC, a handy ton from Rozee and a top notch forward line of Bont, Parker, Libba, Cogs, Himmelberg and Dunks, Massa’s Machines now sit at 3095 OA!

After a strong month and consecutive finishes in our top Round Scores, Tyler’s Shepp Screamers are now the highest ranked SCT team at 38th OA. Just this week Tyler put up a 2042 and enters the home stretch with a minted full premo side. It’s much of the same for the other 26 SCT Coaches in the Top 1000, many of whom held rank or in fact made ground during the bye rounds. Worth a shout is Chandanraj, who has reprised his spot in the Top 1000 after featuring earlier in the season. Sitting just outside the Top 1k and ready to pounce include a few site favourites in: Bearded Burbler (1140), Chips Ahoy! (1162), Emile (1474) and Abs (1928).

Chillo’s SCT vs The World has slotted into into 22nd OA after Gun’s Regulars #1 slipped from 13th OA over the last fortnight. Those leagues are well supported by another 11 SCT in/around the Top 100 Leagues – would be pretty exceptional if we could target 10 SCT Leagues in the Top 100 at same stage! The Contributors League is now 41st OA, packed with some strong ranking teams and playing host to some high octane contests each week – and the final bye round was no exception.
In the battle of the bottom of barrel, Kid81 and I duelled it out in the 1600s and a pair of 68s from Witts and Keays somehow allowed me to get up by 27 points. FD and TDA had just the 6 uniques between them, however TDA fielding 2 rookies to FD’s 1 gave it to the All Priests@SCT by 29. And finally, after having been dealt several small margin defeats which we’ve featured this year, Motts finally won a coin flip against former esteemed admin Thommo. There were some dirty scores on both sides: Motts weathered Lloyd, Zerrett and two rookies, while Thommo copped 60s from Houston, Butters, Ridley and Witts. It was those 4 premos combining for 240-250 for Thommo against tons from Motts’ Bont, Whitfield, Laird and Walsh that sunk Thommo’s Tribe@SCT.

Hoping Gun’s Reg’s can push for a top 15 finish now that the byes are gone.
Nice write-up as always GD, and not gonna lie; was hoping for the ‘charity’ mention of just being outside the top 1K.
Disappointing that Gun’s league has dropped, but the pain is eased by Contribs’ strong showing.
