Sidebottom v Pavlich

Written by Motts on July 12 2012

Here’s a couple of M/F DPP’s who’s form throughout this season appears to be travelling in different directions.

Sidey started like a bull at a gate racking up 8 tons in a row between rounds 2 and 9. He hasn’t broken three figures in the last 3 weeks (although has scored 3 90’s).

Pav didn’t raise his bat until R6 but over the last 3 has averaged 135.

Do you think Steele will get back to the level he began the season at? Or will Pav just go from strength to strength?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. I have both, but I’m starting to think that players like Sidey and Dangerfield are starting to feel the effects of their breakout seasons, they are both still pretty young.Pav’s a seasoned veteren that should(Touching plenty of wood !) see the season out.

  2. I am just glad, knock wood, that they are both playing regardless of who is better or more durable. Shocking week for me. No Goddard,Martin,Buddy,Waters, maybe no Tippett, maybe no Thompson and now Ryder out.

  3. I’ve got both, traded in pav this week (and goodes leaving me with 5 trades)
I wouldn’t trade out sidey – 3 90’s is still solid and we know he’s capable of bigger scores. JS is %100 too.
Personally I’d like to see a Goddard vs Martin poll. I had both, but traded out BG for the Pav. Based on BE’s. If they weren’t both suspended AND Buddy+waters were available I’d probably do nudder. (top of the table with 7 trades…. nice.) Although the lure of goodes at his current price is too great. (which spurred on my trading.) Jumped on priddis when he was low and haven’t looked back. Go on Goodes, do the same.

    Regards, the pill.

  4. I think he’s perfectly in his rights to do that dp/fp. There’s no room for personal slander on this site, we’re all about helping each other out. If you’re going to attack the creator of this phenomenal site, why use it?

  5. Have both Sidey and Pav. Definantly keep both, Pav back on the bubble keeping Freo afloat, Sidey will struggle for higher scores now though Pendles is keeping the ball off him…

  6. This all got a little sidetracked, was considering Pav, but just not sure, I am top 4 in all my leagues but it’s very tight and with both Buddy and Waters out I am looking at a POD, only prob is only one trade left.
Driving me crazy! I dont think SC is healthy sometimes ;P
