  1. Final FWD spot. Already have Danger, Dunkley, Boak, Marshall and Heeney.

    T.U: T. Kelly

    T.D: Lycett

Concerns for both. Kelly’s run home is rife with taggers; Steele, Howe, Hewett and Curnow. Issue of Ryder and sustainability around Lycett’s scoring.

    1. If that really concerns you GD, I’d certainly consider Ziebell as a value POD, who is set for guts time all the way home.
      I’d still prefer Kelly tho’!

  2. T/U – Bring in Lycett F6 instead of Marshall – R/F swing covering Gawn
T/D – Bring in Marshall and cop the donut

    1. Assuming Gawn doesnt play this week, you’re missing out on 125~ points (his average). Question becomes will Marshall outscore Lycett by 125 points by the end of the year, and I think he will. T.D.

    Duursma to macrae 1st trade
Second trade was going to be b Smith the hurn.. but Daniel ruined that and no cover in forward..
TU macrae and chol ( upgrade Smith next week)
TD macrae and hurn ( but cop donut)

      1. Cheers guys
        Was thinking upgrading Daniel instead
Have full premium fwd already so it stays that way..
TU heeney and cash for hurn upgrade
        TU lycett /Marshall

  4. Need a playing forward rookie for bench cover with Burgess/Young currently in.

TU – Chol is a good option at bottom price who’ll play games
TD – Chol is a bad option, likely to be replaced soon

    1. My best bet is Chol probably has about 2-3 weeks before he get’s pushed out due to the return of Nank and Riewoldt.

  5. T/u duursma to hartlett which means team is sort of complete with 5 trades left though d6 and d5 are hartlett and brodie smith
T/d play duursma a couple more weeks and wait for whitfield/hurn to bottom out (would likely need 2 trades though and am holding naish, gardner and robbie young)

    1. Duursma is likely to drop by more than Hurn this week and next so no point waiting for Hurn to bottom out, I would be trying to make that exchange now.

Hartlett is a risk. He has had a good last two games, but not sure he will maintain that. If you look at his history over that last few years I would expect about 80 ave from him.

  6. Scott Lycett:
T/u – Top 6 forward from here on bring him in
T/d – Had a great month, will drop off don’t bring him in

    1. All depends on Ryder. If you haven’t got Telly Boak Marshall Dunkley or Ziebell, I’d pick any one of them ahead of Lycett cos you know what you’re gonna get.

    1. Neale likely to rise in value this week. J Kelly likely to drop.
Ideally you want both in your team, so I would take Neale this week and J Kelly next.
Not sure what you situation is though. If you only have 1 spot left and cash is no problem then I would take Kelly as I believe he is likely to score more .

  7. Was hoping to hold Mumford till Gawn’s price drops but have to trade him now.
Given I will probably have to keep whoever I bring in until at least the finals.
    T/U Goldstein
    T/D O’Brien

  8. Have to trade out either Bewley or O.Baker to avoid a donut so trading one for Chol.
Who is more likely to play again and sooner also?

    T/U – Bewley
    T/D – Baker

  9. Happy to back he can score well enough for final mid upgrade. But will JPK:
    TU: Stay fit.
    TD: Miss more games..

  10. Think I may have found a solution to my F7 conundrum.Presently I have good cover with defence and mids, have 6 prems in my fwd line with Young and Bines on the bench. In other words, no cover. I could trade in Toby McLean (DPP) for Dylan Clarke and he could at least cover if Dangerfield is a late out. Toby has dropped a lot of cash this season and I’m wondering why? Is it purely Mr Magnets or has a general restructure affected his game, could Caleb Daniel hot year have anything to do with it? In the main he’ll be decent cover in the mids, provides coverage for my Fwd line if there are any late outs.
    TU Do the trade
    TD look elsewhere

    1. McLean has been playing FWD all year. Mr Magnets has indicated more MID minutes for his return from leather poisoning in the magoos last week. He may even fill Daniel’s role behind the ball, which should mean he’s a steal.
The concern will be when Daniel returns … what then?! Revert FWD or worse still, is omitted.
Big call. If you’ve nothing to lose and a lot to gain, I’d likely go for it. If you’re well set and want to gain more, I’d probably look elsewhere.

      1. Cheers AS, I guess it’s an opportunity. I note that teams like the Blues are starting to select trade fodder, that’ll be another thing to consider with JS. Wouldn’t put McLean in that category, hoping he’s just us having a Billings type year where being dropped puts a rocket up his arse.

  11. I have Cripps in mids and Gawn/ROB as rucks. 9 trades left.

I am ranked in the top 5%, but am 6-7 in my league and really have to win all of the remaining matches to make finals. This week I play the #1 team.

    TU: Upgrade my D6 (Hore/Logue) and/or F6. (Worpel) = sensible strategy.
TD: Risk it all. Trade Gawn for Grundy assuming that Gawn won’t play, and trade Cripps for another premo = wasting trades, but should ensure victory this week.

Tough decision, but will see how you guys vote.

    Finishing Off FWD Line

  14. I’m $7,100 short of being able to trade Bewley out for Sloane. Should I:

TU: 2 trades: Bewley and R.Young out for Sloane and Chol. $29,700 ITB, 8 trades remaining. Keep Setterfield’s Mid/FWD flexibility plus his BE is 35, but burn an extra trade to do so.

TD: 1 trade: Setterfield out for Sloane. $63,600 ITB, 9 trades remaining.

Either option would mean my M8 is B. Crouch and F6 is R. Gray, with only Duursma requiring upgrading to Whitfield in coming weeks

    1. 8 trades is more than enough from here. Fingers crossed for injuries, you may have luxury trades up your sleeve for Gray and BCrouch come finals!
