    I think they were pretty even last year until the last 5 rounds, where Butters had a massive finish to the supercoach season. But the new Captaincy might give Rozee that drive to step up in the same way Jordan Dawson did.

    1. Interested to see how this one goes as well. I feel the same way with Rozee and the two ankle injuries with Butters puts a bit of doubt in my mind. But so many people are on Butters I think you would lose ground if you didn’t pick him and smashes out a 150 against the Eagles.

  9. Anyone considering Mead at Port?

    If so are you weighing him against the pricier rookies (Windsor/Hustwaite) or the Harmes/Jordon types? Awkward price, will he be given a good crack?

    1. Probably both, but I was looking at replacing Jordon (copying GD’s idea!) with him and use the $75k elsewhere (I have stuck with Jordon now because that plan went out the window with Phillips $102k not making the cut! ). With Hustwaite now not selected prob more people looking in the mids rather than fwd replacing him.

      1. Thanks Rod, yeah Hustwaite not named got me looking at that price range, but wondered the general interest in mead.
