  1. Better choice for the rest of the season:

    TU: Fyfe
    TD: Steele
    Comment: Petracca (+ $38,000)

  2. T.U: Weightman

    T.D: Madden

Tricky one this week. Weightman with rock solid JS and two nice starting scores but small pressure FWDs prone to some ass scores and comes at an elevated price. Madden basement price but don’t have a solid read on his JS and won’t kick a goal each week as a HB.

    1. Have the same problem decided to go with Weightman, both have looked good but think Madden might have less JS with a few 1st choice(more experienced) players due back soon, was going to bring in both but trades are at a premium this year especially it seems, will hold the trade ( back rookies Jones,Highmore, Burgess,Young nth) just don’t think Madden will cover any lost money during the byes , thankfully Reeves and Coleman Jones have given me options to trade Draper (my long-term loop whole) for cash to upgrade Jordan and Warner to Macree and Ridley/ Bowes , what are your thoughts

      1. Yeah, thinking Weightman as well.

Just has the JS and will get a cull-able price quicker.

  3. Who to trade out

T/U Jordon (opponents next 2 weeks: Dogs, Brisbane)

T/D Warner (opponents next 2 weeks: Carlton, Saints)

  4. This week

TU: paint the fence – Weightman/madden & gutherie

TD: double down – weightman & madden

    1. 1 up 1 down but I wouldn’t be rushing to get Guthrie in, wait and see how he goes with his shoulder. Could even be a late out

  5. 1 up 1 down or 2 down.
T/U Scott + Powell -> Macrae + Madden leaving $25,200 In the piggy
    or
    T/D Scott + Powell -> Weightman + Madden leaving a fat piggy with $473,000

I’m leaning towards Macrae because I need to make up ground but I also don’t want to miss a good cow opportunity

  6. Already have Oliver, Macrae, Duncan, Steele, Merrett, and Cripps. Got $564k to get another mid. Trade Powell to:

    T/up – Titch

    T/down – Boak

      1. Can’t afford him, only have $564k. I could trade jordon out but then I have to keep Powell, who could lose a lot more cash. Would rather trade Powell first.

  7. Will there be any on the bubble rookies available next week? Trying to decide if I need to trade in both Madden & Weightman this week, or just one of them. Both have R13 bye which isn’t at all helpful.

    1. Reeves from Hawthorn will be on the bubble next week.
Assuming he holds his spot and scores OK, I’ll look to go Flynn down to Reeves, and use the cash to upgrade elsewhere.

    1. Ooof. That is TOUGH, Grinter. Jeez, hmm.

Mills to score more than Whitfield, but Weightman better JS than Madden.

If you’ve got decent F7/8 depth, then I’d go Mills and Madden.

Madden should stick around for a while but if he is dropped, you’ll atleast have bench cover and in the meantime Mills will continue to pop off.

      Good luck.

      1. Yes, quite the dilemma GD. Obviously Mills and Weightman would be preferred but don’t have enough cash.

F7/8 are currently Waterman and Scott. Dogs are saying Scott is ‘managed’ so should be back next week to give me solid FWD coverage.

        1. The other thing to remember with Scott is that his price is gonna plummet thanks to that 18 so I’d look at getting rid of him rather than holding onto him as cover for one more week

          1. Good point. I can actually do Whitfield/Weightman from Scott as well.

            TU – Jordon/Warner out, Mills/Madden in
            TD – Jordon/Scott out, Whitfield/Weightman in

            0

            5
            1. Would you have enough for Mills and Weightman if you traded out Scott and Warner?
I’d keep Jordon for the moment

  8. Trade 1 is done – Scott to Weightman
    Leaves me with 14 trades

TU: Do a 2nd trade to help with building some cash, trade Warner / Kos for Madden
TD: Not worth it, Madden has poor JS and Warner / Kos are still getting games

    12

  9. Powell and bergman down to madden and weightman $361k in bank TU
Scott and bergman down to madden and weightman $292 in bank TD

  10. T/U Scott, McCreery for Zorko, Heeney with $104,500
T/D Scott, McCreery for Bolton, Hall with $9,000

  11. Am getting rid of A.Scott but unsure which other rookie to dump. likely to upgrade the one I don’t dump next week

    t/u – Jordon
    t/d – McNeil

  12. Need to get Oliver ASAP

Trade Jordan and Atkins and get Oliver and weightman

TU yes do it, (Oliver cheap and weightman on the bubble)
TD no don’t,( Jordan and Atkins are worth holding)

    Thanks in advance

  14. G’day Boys,
I’m hamstrung this week again, with Alex Witherden.

    My backline is
    Laird, Stewart,Ridley, Short,_____,Moore

    Bench Highmore & Chugg

  15. Who to dump?
TU: W. Phillips (Started the season with him and he’s made me -$3.2k)
TD: Brockman (Has made a small profit but not getting games)

    9

    4
      1. Ideally yes, but I’ve burnt too many goddamn trades. One has to sit in hope they eventually make money. Cheers coaches.

  16. TU: Titch and Madden(F8 with Waterman)
TD: Whitfield(via Laird to mids) and Weightman (F8 with Waterman)

    5

    6
  17. TU – Powell, Jordan >> Cerra, S.Bolton ($25k left)
TD – Powell, Scott >> Cerra, Madden (315k left)

Points on field V building a war chest & getting a bubble boy in.
    Thoughts?

    7

    3
  18. TU – Warner & Scott to Heeney & Weightman $91,400
TD – Warner & Scott to Madden & Weightman $314,500 ITB (would help going into byes)

With option 2, Madden & Weightman will be on the field and basically replacing Warner, sending Poulter to MID bench. My team can be found in trade talk if it helps make your decision.

  19. need help – apologies to format – but I have 4 and cannot choose between need a comment please

    Mills – def – $578k avg 113
    Steele – mid – $563k avg 112
    Titch – mid – $553k avg 107
    Libba – mid – $545k – avg 104

All getting lots of CBAs, all can go big and forgetting position and bye, I can get one of them in and at this price all tempting – but I cant separate!

  20. TU: Kosi -> Ridley & Jordon -> Steele ($7k left)
TD: Kosi -> Madden & Jordon -> Bont ($300k left)

  21. TU – Steele
    TD – Walsh

If I get Walsh, I only have 10 premiums in round 13 and 15 in round 14.
Steele will make it 11 in round 13 and 14 in round 14.

  22. So here’s an interesting one folks:

    T/U -Parish (avg 111 – 3rnd & 5rnd avg 134) – only 3.9% owned
    T/D – Walsh (avg 116 3rnd avg 105, 5rnd 115) – 26.1% owned

    Will Parish continue on strongly??

    2

    2
    1. Yeah, looks to be on a tremendous development arc.

A touch expensive but if you suits your byes and you’re looking to splurge on a MID, think he’s a deadly POD.
