  1. Currently have 14 trades left and $11k in the bank. Going to trade McNeil to Bianco this week. But I’m unsure if I should trade Grundy to Nic Nat. This is my current team:

DEF – Laird, Docherty, Stewart, Daniel, Ridley, Murphy (Jones, Highmore)

MID – Oliver, Macrae, Duncan, Steele, Merrett, Mitchell, Cripps, Jordon (Collier-Dawkins, Berry, McNeil)

    RUCK – Grundy, Gawn (Flynn)

FWD – Zorko, Ziebell, Martin, Poulter, Mccreery, Waterman (Bergman, Madden)

I’m mainly playing for a cash league in which I’m sitting 1st, a game ahead of 2nd, and my overall rank is around 7000. Do I:

    T/up – Trade Grundy

T/down – Hold him and save the trades

  2. Who to trade out for Bianco
TU Highmore (field 19 this week)
TD Scott (Field 18 this week)

    1. Tossing up the same….Maxy goes huge at GWS ground and Brisbane not exactly strong in ruck. Best result is both 130

  3. TU: crisp (+25k – enables 2 premos over next 2 rounds)
Td: lloyd (may need extra trade to get 2 premos over next 2 rds)

  4. Ryan Daniels – WA journo – reporting WCE v RICH R14 clash may be brought fwd to R13…
Would make it nearly impossible to field 18 in R14.

      1. It helps next week for sure !

You would think the SC Gods would add an extra 2 or 3 of trades perhaps with 5 or 6 available R14 potentially ?

        1. With their lack of compassion after R3 Dons/Dees debacle last year (and I’m still shippy !!), I wouldn’t hold your breath.

          1. Forgive my ignorance, but I didn’t play last year and I’m curious. How were the extra trades doled out last year? I.e. when and how many, how many times etc.

  5. Originally had plans for two trades this week which would’ve given me the funds for two upgrades next week, however with the teams being announced, I’m set on one of the following:

    T/U Jiath > Bianco (556k in bank)
    T/U Highmore > Bianco (305k in bank)

The key difference would be trading out the likes of Highmore who unfortunately isn’t getting the week-in-week-out opportunities at the Saints and as such, isn’t going to be much use throughout the byes. Whereas Jiath, although I’d get more money to spend next week, will be available throughout the remainder of the byes until its time to upgrade him. Cheers

    1. Remove whitfield as he is common to both.

So Miller & Rankine vs Jelly & Sidebottom. Not sure how you could not go Sidebottom /Kelly.

        1. If Miller is only 50k more then Kelly/Titch you’d have 50k less than Sidebottom Price for forward. Would prefer Langford/Thomas>Rankine

  6. With news of WCE/RIC getting brought forward. Will have sufficient cover to do the following.

CCJ / Neale / Bianco in
Mccreary / Highmore / Flynn out
    10 trades / 95k

Next week will likely just have enough to do:
    Warner -> Jelly / Poulter -> Reeves

And then wait for Danger to bottom out to get my last upgrade.

    Thoughts?

  7. For next week but may influence the tradework I need to do this week

    Who to Bring in

    TU Touk miller
    TD Steele

    1. Steele if you have sufficient rd 14 mids otherwise Touk.

Alternatively I love the look of Jelly if you don’t have him.

Has a bit of a hard on for destroying the “lesser teams” and has a pretty easy run coming off his bye.

      1. Thanks Abs, Current Mids are Oliver, Bont, Macre, Zerrett, Duncan, BRayshaw, Jordon, Poulter, RCD, Bianco and Downie.

Also have Laird as a swing option but still an upgrade to go down back

        1. An option would be to flick Jordon now before Steele presumable goes up over the next few weeks. Thoughts? I do love Touk as POD though

          1. With those mids I do rate the Steele pick, Touk as a POD is a good choice, however Rowell is back and he’s 50kish more than Steele….
