  2. Just wanna have a bit of a rage, I feel like Jelly is severely underscored on a consistent basis, does anyone else feel this way?

    Had 31 disposals today @ 74% with only 3 clangers and 1 free against, had 4 tackles too. And was given a score of 94.

  5. I wanted to rage trade Bolton to Sidey but I’m just short, so have just traded Trapanto to Sidey instead. Feels good.. even if I decide later to reverse trade & keep my final trade for injury instead

  9. The Bolton acquisition 2 weeks ago is giving me nightmares. Only 2 trades left and Weightman/Madden are F6.

    Just won the 1st final of league, so have the week off this week and then a max of 2 games left.

    Should I trade Bolton to Sidey?

  15. Got an elimination final this weekend and coming up against a tough opponent. We have very few uniques so I’m just wondering whether I should try match his M8 or whether I’m going to have to risk another unique with my last trade.

    Should I:

    T/U: Bring in Guthrie as M8 so it’ll be be Bolton, Hawkins, Whitfield for me vs. Danger, Marshall, Mills for him
    T/D: Bring in another M8 as I need to make to make up a heap of points (any suggested midfielders less than $540k would be welcome)

  18. 1 trade left…below is only if there is no selection carnage this week.

    TU: Bramble to Butters (allows me to open up Mid/Fwd swing and put Bolton on the pine to loop him with T Kelly).

    TD: Save the trade and roll with Bolton on field.

    The only risk is I will have 0 trades to navigate the Round 23 carnage…bench cover on all lines is somewhat decent though.

    I would love to wait a week to make this move, but have $0 cash so has to be this week.

  20. Scored over 2700 on the weekend and won my league with my best ever score. Now with 1 trade remaining with Weightman my final upgrade. Due to cash I’m looking at either Sidebottom or Wingard. But also thinking outside the box I have Neale whose obviously playing hurt. How about l keep Weightman and trade Neale for Guthrie ? Yay or nay?

  21. Oh Dan Houston. You looked great when you scored 97, 102, 98 and 110 in consecutive games so you were warmly welcomed into my team. Since then it has been 67, 48, 52, 91 and now 51. You have to go.

    Looking for a reliable defender in the $440 – $460K range.

  26. Week off, going for league win. 3 trades left. $340k ITB. Not sure whether to wait a week to see if Dunkley comes good, pull the trigger on Hall now or get Butters and do some upgrades around the field. Will be trading out Sharp via DPP.

    The emergency is now to get rid of TARANTO so Im finally cashing M.Flynn on my bench to upgrade him to a red-hot Jack Steele to give me a better chance to push through my semi-finals!

    TU: Dale ($100 in bank)
    TD: Butters ($89,500 in bank)

    Please consider I will have 1 trade left after this and I have Weightman still in my starting 22.
    I can’t find any compelling case to use the 89k from a Butters trade this week to replace Weightman but I am sure the 89k would be handy when I make that last trade the following week – even if it is for an injury I don’t yet know about..

    Thoughts appreciated..

  42. I spoke to Dad just now. Told him I had made it straight to the pre-lim in my league, and still had 4 trades and $380k.

    I thought that was a good thing but he started swearing at me and threw a bottle of ’68 Grange at me. Am I missing something ??

    Lyons seems to be value, but $490k is a pretty awkward amount to pick a second player up at. What other options are there?

    1. De Goey is staying in the mids. There is talk already that he is going to do pre-season training with the midfielders.

      Thomas is going to be very good.

      Tough decision but I went with DeGoey.

  45. Seeing as neale is now ill,
    Trade him to Guthrie with last trade or hold because I have an easy win this week ?
    Only issue is Guthrie will be out of reach after this week .. and not sure if any other will be worth the trade next week if neale isn’t back or back because he will probably pull something else on field lol

    1. Marshall will solo ruck for the rest of the season now that Paddy Ryder is most likely put on ice for the rest of the season.

      De Goey will stay in the mids

    Why isnt there 3 way substituting
    Eg a def/mid gets substituted in mid
    mid/fwd gets subbed into fwd
    fwd/def gets subbed into def
    First time I tried to attempt this usually never run out of trades lol

    Comments: Taranto to Parish or Merrett, Reeves to Bowey (M/F) moving Fullarton into bench ruck

    Can’t afford Touk (and have all the other Elite mids) so the above are the best options I have with cash available
