Hello, I’m into the prelim and I’ve got 2 trades left. I plan to use 1 this week to trade JHF out and can only bring in a forward, either Max Hall or Warner. Warners run is very easy but that’s what makes me think he himself will take it easy. Max hall has an easy run too but they need to win if there’s any chance of a wildcard finish left, and I feel they will go through him a lot more now NWM is out.

I am worried Gulden gets a rest, could be managed. Has played 7 straight games after injury. Even if he plays, he might sit out the last quarter like Heeney did last week.
Options are straight swap to Bowey (already have Stewart/Whitfield), or DPP to bring in Rankine and get Petracca off field.
The DPP option would mean playing HHK on field in DEF and using Petracca as a MID-FWD loop. So putting a good rookie on field to get a bad premium off.
TU – straight to Bowey, Petracca on, HHK off
TD – DPP to Rankine, Petracca off, HHK on
Thoughts – If JHF plays retain him, Get Petracca off-field.

So it would involve me moving McKercher to the backline. But with Bont and Durham not being named, I think I have to go Rankine. Otherwise Banfield moves to my forward line so make space for Gulden.
