I think this is a lot tougher than polling indicates. Reville won’t score as highly but I think has much better JS with all of Brisbane’s injuries which are largely long term. Massive watch for teams this week if De Goey and Mitchell are back
Genuinely blown away by this one sided result. I’m probably going breville. I don’t like Sullivan’s JS one bit with Mitchell and JDG coming back in soon, possibly this week.
Like most Sullivan will come in. The real question is who goes out.
Thumbs up – Phillips as he is not playing but does provide a def loop.
Thumbs down – Roberts losing money and looks to be tiring. A D’Ambrosio clone in fact.
Definitely worried about the soft tissue stuff. I’m bringing him in this week as my def is set for the moment and waiting on Rowell or green to bottom out for my m8. If he gets 4 weeks of good scores and does a hammy then I’m ok with it as we have plenty of trades, perhaps there’s a clearer fwd premo to grab by then
Unfortunately I don’t have enough ITB to upgrade both Reid and Fyfe, so I have to downgrade one them. Both of those two need to be out either way I think.
Also I have Sullivan already, so my downgrade options are pretty limited. Only other option is I go Riley Garcia, but I think that ship has well sailed and would be pretty unnecessary to get him now.
Nat Fyfe, surely a hold?
Was sub effected and gave away 6 free kicks against the top of the table swans…
Expecting him to bounce back with a favourable bye. Can hold during the byes and have as good coverage. Should also hopefully reset his cash gen in a couple of weeks..
Who do I trade out instead of Fyfe then? Because I still need to make the Reid > Heeney trade and I can’t do that off the one trade alone with my current ITB. Plus his BE is around 150
So I have two options for me this week, in order to bring some cash generation into my team I could opt for the following trade this week.
Reid, Ramsden (What a terrible trade-in by me in the first place.) for Rankine and Sulivan 9k remaining in the bank.
If all of my players were to be named on the field this week, which would surprise me if they didn’t I could instead trade Reid and Graham into any premium and Sulivan.
TU: Reid, Ramsden for Rankine and Sulivan 9k remaining in the bank.
Td reid, graham for any premium and Sulivan
What i could also do is Roberts, Reid, S Darcy to Stewart, Zorko and Sullivan. Leaves only Clohesy, Sweet, Wilson and H Garcia or D Jones as rookies on field. Not really sure i want Garcia or Jones on my field even if only for 1 week
As a Port fan I think that Sweet will come back in. Personally I’d like to see Visentini get another game; thought he had the beating of Stanley and was pretty good around the ground.
I’ll sit on these trades for the moment. By swapping N.Martin and D’Amrosio in the midfield, I am a bit concerned with my Mids which now have Sullivan and Rogers on the field….
Anyone thinking Jye Caldwell is a top 6 contender in the forward line?
Averaging 100 over 6 games if you exclude the injury game against West Coast.
Plays North, Richmond and Gold Coast in his next three games.
Only 2 CBAs but 7 clearances against the Giants.
Will Setterfield to return soon is my slight concern
I’m an Essendon supporter and definitely high on my watchlist. I’m more likely going for M Kennedy next week when his sub affected score goes out of rotation. It feel like Caldwell should avg 85-90 which puts him in the mix
I have no ready to cull rookies left and I had a great week with Comben Darcy Sexton Clohesy Wilson all on field thinking they weee prems for the week. And I have no Reid Roberts Cadman Howes Mass Williams left. Therefore leaves me with an issue of who to cull for Zorko. I’m going Graham to Sullivan but then who do I get rid of early.
Adelaide with the slightly easier fixture from here, and Crouch is still getting a healthy number of CBAs, but wondering if Oliver can average 100+ from here on out (plays Eagles twice).
Finished my backline
Fielding Bonner, Sharp, Cholsey in mids
Ruck are Gawn and Grundy
Forward I have to play 2 of Comben, Darcy or Jones – can loop with Livingstone
Reid & Roberts out
Sullivan/Reville in with either
TU: Stewart
or
TD: Butters
Could give me a donut if Graham doesn’t come back in the backline but I’m sick of not having Butters or Serong. Not sold T Stewart is a lock as a top 5 defender anymore either and the other options in Defense are still coming down in price (Houston, Martin etc)
I’d be getting rid of Cadman and Howes. Moving Wilson forward, bringing in a premo defender like a Stewart, Whitfield, Young and a bubble rookie of your choice. Loop your M8/ F6. You should be able to upgrade Comben straight to another premo next week or after byes. The trades work even better with Reid if preferred.
Trading out Roberts this week before he bleeds any more cash (and points).
Choice is between Dale -$554k – (could get struck down any week by a Mr Magnets brain fart) or Houston – $581k – with a BE of 149 – will lose $18k straight off the bat if he scores 110.
Don’t know whu everyone is saying trade. He’s playing this week and it’s against meek. Good chance of scoring 100+ with an excellent BE. The group think on this site can be disgraceful.
Have a very good problem in only having 3 more rookies left on the field, all performed admirably on the weekend and now have low BE with more cash gen to come.
Who to upgrade first?
TU- Sam Darcy
TD- Clohesy
Parish is fools gold. I traded him in this week and had instant buyers remorse. Watching the game confirmed he is not a player to own this season. Good riddance.
They should really throw Stringer out of those CBAs. Only 12 touches and 2 clearances.
Caldwell had 7 clearances for the game, most by an Essendon player
Still holes in my forward line and down back but my disgust is too great. Parish must go.
If Parish is going to be playing in the forward line/CHF then he’s not going to come close to the previous two weeks numbers when he was run amok in the midfield.
Thoughts on what to do with Jack Macrae. He is scoring 80s against shit opposition and had no CBAs on the weekend. I’m concerned about his role and scoring potential in the future as it may get worse than 80s.
Is anyone considering Fin Macrae instead of Lachlan Sullivan ?
Or perhaps doing a double downgrade this week, and bringing in both Sullivan ($102,400 & BE of -92) & Macrae ($168,900 & BE of -27)?
I just reckon that Macrae could start to put some solid performances together now, and he could also be an on field option for the next 4 to 6 weeks?
He has always known how to rack up the stats.
I know there is some JS issues – even if Collingwood lost a heap more lads on the weekend to injury (Harrison & Howe & Bytel).
As they have Titch & DeGoey & Schultz etc to come back in (probably this week), and then 1 or 2 or 3 weeks later they also have Mihocek & Elliot & McCreery to come back in.
Is Macrae worth considering this week – either in place of Sullivan or as a double downgrade:
I’d go for Zorko. Way I see it he’ll probably be top 5 and great for a ton if he’s playing. With extra trades and way forward line is- I may be trying to get an extra premium on the bench and just play the higher scorer if possible and allow rest for one weeker concussions exc
The votes on Petracca or Zorko were strongly the other way in earlier votes in this same topic – wonder what has changed in the past day or two to swing it the other way to Zorko preferred over Petracca?
or alternatively
Out – Reid, Roberts, Sharp
In – Sullivan, Ryan, Zorko
realistically both cadman and harley would go out in the next 2 weeks, and they will both lose cash this round. Sharp has to go to make room for sullivan so i can downgrade to fund the upgrades
GGG…Is that Sharp of Dockers coming off a 118 with a BE of 18 or Lion Harry?
…BE OF 8…Which McGovern?…if Docker he has played every game at 75 Ave…will get 18BE easily and Tom Green is at 528000 this week with a BE of 180…Worth waiting 1 week??
sharp coming off 98 from the dockers. BE of 18, but only expected to go up 20k over the next 2 weeks. Already have tom green and Sharp to sullivan is the only way to fund the upgrades.
geez people have really not been paying attention lately
Stewart is not a good trade target, and I say that as an owner. McEntee destroyed him last week and given how important he is to the Cats, you can bet it won’t be the last time he gets tagged like that.
Just a watch on Reville. 60% then 53% TOG. Is either not fit enough or carrying an injury. I did hear he picked up a cork in the game against Gold Coast, so that might be the reason.
It’s for Dream Team where his last 2 scores have been really bad and I need the cash for a good upgrade. (I mostly ask SC questions but this site is great) Cheers
With news that McKercher will miss this week, who to bring in for him and Graham:
TU: Stewart, Archer / Hardeman
TU: Stewart, non-playing 117k DPP player to bank an extra 25k (noting that I have Zac Reid on the bench as cover for when he’s named again)
Harley Reid is going to be a star of the game, there’s no doubt. I reckon he regrets though being part of the West Coast setup.
The West media has boomed him up since before he was drafted. It has gone to another level since then. There was one day before the season started, The West Australian paper had 13 photos of him. Not bad for an untested player. My wife and I do a daily Harley watch in each paper we see and it’s rare if his photo is not in twice or more.
Is Short a D6 possibility ??? Huge price fall, looks to have turned the corner, and if he plays down back gonna get plenty of ball. Allows earlier trade to either d5 or f6 to nearly complete team.
A…Shorty has 100% job Security..price is 382100 and a BE of 18..was 551000…can go big tons but can disappoint with a 70 …however the price and BE equals a no brainer inclusion…for Swan Roberts at 388600and BE of 124 or similar player
Currently have 7 premo mids in Butters, Bont, Miller, Green, Merrett, Dawson, Walsh. For my last premo is it a must to get serong or should I go one of the discounted melb mids in oliver or trac?
Currently have 18 trades left and need to upgrade 1 def, 1 mid, 2 fwds and 1 ruck (have sweet as R2 atm)
T/U build up the cash for Serong
T/D go the value in oliver/trac in the next week or so
Is it as simple as Reid & Coffield to Zorko and Sullivan/Reville? It would leave me with $32,200 ITB for next week. I could replace Coffield with Biggie and save an extra 50k ($$82,600 ITB)
Agree Wighty – Fyfe was visibly upset with the Cam McCarthy news/tribute, so I think he was understandably not in the right headspace for the game, which explains the higher clangers and free kicks against.
Tony…Dempsey…302000 with a BE 41..plated all games so selectors rate him..I have him on bench cover and he is consistent and does a useful job..Yet to be managed and that is a concern.. Round 14 Bye
Using my last boost they are:
Out – Graham, Roberts & Reid for reasons of not playing, losing $’s and losing $’s
In – Fisher, Oliver & Sullivan for back to preseason role, looking ominous and best rookie on the bubble this week.
It leaves me with $155K in the bank. Future trades at some stage will be Sweet out for either Xerri, Marshall or English (whichever is cheapest). Will look to bring in Jackson probably after his bye for possibly McKercher depending on foot prognosis.
I was seriously tempted by Sidebottom with word he is set to play more half back but I just didn’t have big enough ‘Cohuna’s’ to do that.
Currently ranked 1018.
Looks like Richmond’s McAuliffe ($117,300 MID – scored 16 as sub in round 4, then 58 points in round 5) is going to be recalled this week for Richmond.
Has been in very good form in the VFL – getting good disposal numbers & he loves a tackle.
Is he a better option to trade in that either Lachie Sullivan ($102,400) or Fin McCrae ($168,900)?
Want to do Reid > Heeney, but I can do that without making a second trade
I’ve discussed outing Fyfe, but heaps of you seem to thinking I should hold him. Only other player to out would be Graham, but there’s no defender rookie on the bubble and I can’t switch him into the midfield.
So what do I do? Because I have no intentions of trading out any other player from my team atm
Harley Reid..
Tu: Trade
Td: Hold
Probably, but i have a Matt Roberts issue to deal with first so may have to hold an extra week. Ill just use him as a loop
Yeah. Makes sense to get him to a premo but for peasants like me with bigger issues I think I can get away with holding.
3/4 in Perth, including Saints and Roos. If Yeo can come back we’ll be more competitive and Reid will be in a stronger stoppage outfit.
Best Cow?
TU- Lachie Sullivan
TD- Bruce Reville
I think this is a lot tougher than polling indicates. Reville won’t score as highly but I think has much better JS with all of Brisbane’s injuries which are largely long term. Massive watch for teams this week if De Goey and Mitchell are back
Genuinely blown away by this one sided result. I’m probably going breville. I don’t like Sullivan’s JS one bit with Mitchell and JDG coming back in soon, possibly this week.
Reid and Fyfe to go this week
Bring in Dawson and Sullivan
Howes and one of Roberts/Reid out.
Sullivan and premium defender in. Probably Stewart. Maybe also Petracca. Lots of choices this week.
Should we be concerned that Reville only got 53% game time (didn’t see the game)
TU Yes I’d be concerned
TD nothing to worry about
Which forward to get
Tu: Zorko
Td: Rankime
I have Bolton (don’t ask why) and this week he will be turfed. Probably for Zorko.
Is Zorko a must have?
Which way to go this week.
Like most Sullivan will come in. The real question is who goes out.
Thumbs up – Phillips as he is not playing but does provide a def loop.
Thumbs down – Roberts losing money and looks to be tiring. A D’Ambrosio clone in fact.
Priority this week:
Tu; Oliver
Td; Zorko (anyone concerned with soft tissue injury past) ?!?!
Definitely worried about the soft tissue stuff. I’m bringing him in this week as my def is set for the moment and waiting on Rowell or green to bottom out for my m8. If he gets 4 weeks of good scores and does a hammy then I’m ok with it as we have plenty of trades, perhaps there’s a clearer fwd premo to grab by then
1. cadman, gibcus out for zorko, sullivan
OR
2. cadman, reid out for zorko, ___
tu: 1
td: 2
DEF – Ryan, Daicos, Sheezel, Holmes, Stewart, Clohesy (Graham, Pink)
MID – Serong, Bont, Merrett, Butters, Miller, Walsh, Green, Garcia (Rogers, Sullivan, Clark)
RUC – Gawn, Grundy (Livingstone)
FWD – Flanders, Jackson, Fyfe, Reid, Wilson, Darcy (Jones, Nyuon)
23 trades left, $107k ITB
I’m thinking
OUT – Reid and Fyfe
IN – Heeney and ….
TU: Reville
TD: Freijah/Richards
Unfortunately I don’t have enough ITB to upgrade both Reid and Fyfe, so I have to downgrade one them. Both of those two need to be out either way I think.

Agreed mate, definite hold. Team must be pretty bloody good to be able to trade him. Especially with the lack of forwards!
Who do I trade out instead of Fyfe then? Because I still need to make the Reid > Heeney trade and I can’t do that off the one trade alone with my current ITB. Plus his BE is around 150
Which 2 to trade Out?
McGovern, Yeo, Hogan, Harlwy Reid
Thanks
Yeo and Reid
Hogan & reid
Harry Sheezel?
What to do with him?
TU – HOLD
TD – TRADE
Majority have voted to Hold, would be keen hear any comments as to why.
Did not see this game, but presume Sheez suffered again in the mid-field?
Captain Z
Hoping with McKercher out he’ll return to the backline
Let’s all hope
Good luck
Been saving up some cash and finally ready to spend:
TU: Serong (+$10k)
TD: Butters (+$58k)
Plan is to get both, but always prepare for the worst. Feeling like Butters given his next few games and paying top price for Serong.
Thinking very similarly to the above.
Just on Butters… is there any concern with a Finn McGinnis tag this week?
Out: W graham, H Reid
In: Merrett, sullivan
Grahm > Sullivan
Reid > Zorko
Oliver comes in likely next week.
Tu or Td
Roberts > Sullivan
Graham > Zorko
Thought about Stewart but I’ll be bringing him in next week for Reid.
Sullivan’s JS has to be shaky at best??
He’s a bench loop option at best. Low risk trade in for most I would assume.
Thumbs up: Merrett
Thumbs down: Butters
Both have good runs coming up but can only get one unless I get rid of Grundy and get Sweet onto field
So I have two options for me this week, in order to bring some cash generation into my team I could opt for the following trade this week.
Reid, Ramsden (What a terrible trade-in by me in the first place.) for Rankine and Sulivan 9k remaining in the bank.

TU: Reid, Ramsden for Rankine and Sulivan 9k remaining in the bank.
Td reid, graham for any premium and Sulivan
Always go premium
OUT: Reid and Howes
IN: Zorko and Stewart
Leaves me with a whole $200 in the bank.
New trade idea, either use last boost to bring in two premos but miss Zorko or simple 1 up and 1 down and save boost
Tu: Reid, Roberts, Wehr to Stewart, Rankine, Sullivan/Reville
Td: Roberts, Wehr to Sullivan, Zorko
I don’t think you can clarify Rankine as premo just yet.
Who comes in for Robert’s?
TU Nic Martin
TD Houston
Early trade thoughts
TU:
Powell & Sam Darcy -> Merrett & Sullivan
(Loop Sullivan and Darcy Jones)
TD:
Graham & Wehr -> Oliver & Sullivan
(Loop Tom Powell & Sam Darcy)
@ Abs – g’day!!
How can you loop Sullivan (MID only) & Darcy Jones (FWD only)?
Thanks.
T/U Petracca
T/D Zorko
Any idea on when the next DPP changes are, and what are petraccas chances at fwd status sitting at currently?
After Round 12
I saw a stat saying he was 67% FWD this week. I don’t have the numbers but would guess he’d need another couple of games like that.
I think he needs upwards of 85% fwd in the next two weeks to qualify.
I wouldn’t count on it
This is a draft question – big waivers decision to make.
TU – Langford (nice run of games coming)
TU – Fisher (is the role real or will Sheezel be back)
Fisher better for my byes – but is the role secure long-term?
MID premo upgrade
T/U Serong
T/D Butters
Comment Merrett
Merrett
Priority Trade Out
TU: Massimo
TD: Dempsey
TU Merrett
TD Dawson

TU: YES
TD: Massimo > Martin instead
Who to bring in? (Who will score more in the next few weeks)
TU Butters
TD Heeney
2 boosts left….
TU: H Reid, Fyfe and H Thomas to Petracca, Stewart and Sullivan 4K ITB
TD: H Reid, H Thomas to Butters and Sullivan 40K ITB
Elliot Yeo. Held but still a week or 2 away?
TU- Hold (almost back)
TD- Trade (too injury prone)
Thanks
Trade for Jack Hayes?
His first game was promising but is that 20 going to affect his JS?
Reid, Massimo, Roberts > Petracca, Sullivan, Rankine
TU: Fyfe, Roberts & Cadman to Zorko, Sullivan & any defender below $600k
TD: Roberts & Cadman to Luke Ryan & Sullivan (Fyfe stays in the team for now)
Who to trade out first:
TU: H. Reid
TD: Fyfe
If my understanding of SC scoring is correct, then Fyfe’s score was massively influenced by 6 x FA and 10 x clangers. @ -4 pts each that is- 64pts.
T/U out Fyfe and Cadman in Zorko and Sullivan
T/D out Powell and Cadman in Rankine and Sullivan
Who is the Port Adelaide ruck this week?
TU Visentini holds his spot after his 75 against Geelong
TD Sweet comes back in
As a Port fan I think that Sweet will come back in. Personally I’d like to see Visentini get another game; thought he had the beating of Stanley and was pretty good around the ground.
Roberts > Butters, Cadman > Sullivan
I’ve gone with:
D’Ambrosio to Sullivan
Reid to Heeney
I’ll sit on these trades for the moment. By swapping N.Martin and D’Amrosio in the midfield, I am a bit concerned with my Mids which now have Sullivan and Rogers on the field….
H. Reid out, who comes in;
Tu: Oliver (Darcy jones becomes f6 which I don’t like the idea at all)
Td: Zorko
Feels like it makes more sense to grab Zorko as I need a forward this week more than a mid.
Any other suggestions appreciated!
Trading out Reid.
TU: Flanders in
TD: Zorko in
Tu Martin
Td Houston
Thanks !!!!
Anyone thinking Jye Caldwell is a top 6 contender in the forward line?

I’m an Essendon supporter and definitely high on my watchlist. I’m more likely going for M Kennedy next week when his sub affected score goes out of rotation. It feel like Caldwell should avg 85-90 which puts him in the mix
Kennedy is an interesting option. I’ll considering him as a post bye target due to a good home stretch of games.
Darcy – thumbs up
Comben – thumbs down
Upgrade Reid to:
TU: Gawn
TD: Zorko
Do I trade Cadman to Reville? (already have Sullivan) or another rookie?
Cheers
Reid, Roberts, Graham > Butters, Stewart, Sullivan
TU
TD
TU: Dylan Moore
TD: Zorko

Trade or keep Will Powell? I do have Draper/Clohsey & Howes at D6-8 for cover.
Trade TU
Keep him TD
TU: Stewart
TD: May
Who would you guys rather bring in?
C.Petracca
or
D.Zorko
I plan to trade out Cadman and W.Graham
I just don’t know which premo to bring in at this point.
TU Petracca
TD Zorko
Bit of sc draft talk as unsure where else to ask:
Who should be 1st priority on waivers for DEF:
– witherden
– andrew
– noble
– barrass
1st for FWDs:
– sanders
– davies
– mcinerney
– anb
– macrae
– sexton
Tu: Matt Crouch
Td: Oliver
Adelaide with the slightly easier fixture from here, and Crouch is still getting a healthy number of CBAs, but wondering if Oliver can average 100+ from here on out (plays Eagles twice).
Need to get Flanders in – who to trade?
TU- Reid
TD- Powell
Powell sits at 380k, BE of 69
Reid sits at 443k but a BE of 150
Is it worth holding Powell for another 2 weeks before upgrading to premo and trading Reid instead?
Feel like Reid without another spike score will end up losing more money than Powell in coming weeks when I’m looking to upgrade.
Let me know
Which defender to bring in this week, looking for good value for money:
Tu: Houston
Td: Wanganeen-Milera
Comment: McGovern/Holmes/Sinclair
McGrath….never misses a game…averaging 100, saves cash
TU – Blakey
TD – Stewart
TU: Dempsey to Zorko
TD: Roberts to Houston
Reid and Darcy out
Zerrett and Sullivan in
Tu: Petracca
Td: zerrett

Hmmm, Scrimshaw one week, MD’A redemption……..
……and to all those with Gawny, are you going to run a chook raffle for VC???
……and to those those who don’t, turn the heavy metal up really loud while you’re head banging and make sure coins are easily accessible…….
Ps Rock, Paper, Scissors in the mirror takes too long……..
Howdy everyone,
Opinions on this trade
Out H.Reid & Roberts
In Petracca & McGovern
Finished my backline
Fielding Bonner, Sharp, Cholsey in mids
Ruck are Gawn and Grundy
Forward I have to play 2 of Comben, Darcy or Jones – can loop with Livingstone
Check if McGovern playing. Was taken to hospital with internal injuries I believe
Cheers mate. Didn’t watch any thing weekend. Bloody Kayo subscription ran out.
Can get Caldwell in forwards. Just short of Zorko/Petracca trade
TU – Caldwell is a top 6 forward
TD – Not top 6
Tu zerrett
Td serong
Reid & Roberts out
Sullivan/Reville in with either
TU: Stewart
or
TD: Butters
Could give me a donut if Graham doesn’t come back in the backline but I’m sick of not having Butters or Serong. Not sold T Stewart is a lock as a top 5 defender anymore either and the other options in Defense are still coming down in price (Houston, Martin etc)
Hi all,
T/U – Howes to Martin
T/D – Jordan to Ryan
Thank you.
M6 spot:
TU: Walsh
TD: Petracca
Jake Lloyd is 460k, is he a good shout?
Any love for Short? $382k and has had a 115 and 84 in his last 2.
TU – Steele
TD – Petracca
DEF – Ryan, Daicos, Yeo, Martin, Sheezel, Clohesy (Graham, Howes)
MID – Bont, Merrett, Dunkley, Dawson, Rowell, Steele, Green, Wilson (Rogers, Garcia, Clark)
RUC – Gawn, Grundy (Sweet)
FWD – Heeney, Flanders, Reid, Fyfe, Darcy , Jones (Campbell, Maley)
Who is most urgent to trade out and who should I bring him, I only have 10k cash.
i’d say reid & Darcy.
Bring in Zorko & sullivan, swing wilson forward
Darcy has a breakeven of 36 so still going to increase in price right?
Reid and Howes out, Sullivan and premo in
Is Ryan worth the top dollar, low break even
TU: RYAN (BE 71)
TD: Stuart (BE 97)
DEF: Ryan, Daicos, Sheezel, Comben, Clohesy, Howes (Graham, Reid)
MID: Serong, Bont, Merrett, Dunkley, Butters, Miller, Green, Wilson (Rogers, HGarcia, Clark)
RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Sweet)
FWD: Heeney, Flanders, Jackson, Reid, Darcy, Jones (Cadman, Livingstone)
Who should be traded out and who should I bring him – I have 176.7k
I am looking at my DEF and FWD but not sure who to trade and who to bring in
Reid to Zorko?
Would it be worth also going Cadman to Sexton (if named)?
I’d be getting rid of Cadman and Howes. Moving Wilson forward, bringing in a premo defender like a Stewart, Whitfield, Young and a bubble rookie of your choice. Loop your M8/ F6. You should be able to upgrade Comben straight to another premo next week or after byes. The trades work even better with Reid if preferred.
1. Howes, Cadman -> Zorko, Sullivan
2. Howes, Cadman -> Stewart, Sullivan
Thinking Zorko this week due to lower BE, bring in Stewart hopefully next.
TU – 1
TD – 2
Who has to go?
TU:Fyfe
TD:Graham
Keep in mind I can leave graham on my bench
See if he’s named.
Brookesy
Hardwicke said he’ll be rested again as the two’s don’t have a game
He played in the magoos last week
Good luck
Reid to?
TU Zorko
TD Marshall..and swing Jackson forward
Trading out Roberts this week before he bleeds any more cash (and points).
Choice is between Dale -$554k – (could get struck down any week by a Mr Magnets brain fart) or Houston – $581k – with a BE of 149 – will lose $18k straight off the bat if he scores 110.
TU Houston
TD Dale
2 boosts left
T/U Roberts to Blakey
T/D Boost Sweet/Graham (whoever isn’t named) to Reville, H Reid to Rankine, Roberts to Houston/Blakey
T/U Blakey
T/D Houston
Who to get this week?
WIll eventually have both!
TU – Butters – Superstar, great bye, clear top 6
TD – Zorko – Clear top 3 fwd (best 2 match ups for def next 2 weeks)
Cheers
Reckon Butters based on draw, bye and ceiling.
Very strong response for Butters here which I like.
Is it worth using my last boost to trade Sheezel -> Zorko??
Post trade will have 18 trades and 190k ITB
Sheezel move should’ve happened last week but, yeah, you can still do that, Marcus.
Sheezel getting to minimum 530k and still in a dumb role.
Am I vindicated for suggesting trading him 3 weeks ago @ 650k?
TU : 2 trades :
OUT -H Reid & Nyuon,
IN -Petracca & Sullivan
TD: 3 trades (uses my last boost) :
OUT – H Reid, Nyuon & Graham
IN – Serong, Sullivan & Reville/other rookie
One mid premo left to trade in after this round, saving for Serong/Merrett if I don’t get one of them this week.
I have sweet as my ruck 2, should I trade him? Or will he play this week?
Don’t know whu everyone is saying trade. He’s playing this week and it’s against meek. Good chance of scoring 100+ with an excellent BE. The group think on this site can be disgraceful.
What does everyone think of the following:
Reid, d’ambross, Roberts > Sullivan, Stewart, Martin.
Still have Yeo on the bench, so hoping he returns soon to fill that D6 spot
Trades themselves are great but I’m kinda off Stewart a bit.
Hard to say at 500k and know his quality but been tagged and battered lately and Holmes is gulling. Idk.
Have a very good problem in only having 3 more rookies left on the field, all performed admirably on the weekend and now have low BE with more cash gen to come.
Who to upgrade first?
TU- Sam Darcy
TD- Clohesy
Comments- Darcy Wilson
Surely that just depends on who you’re targeting as an upgrade?
All stable on field.
tu: trade graham
td: trade fyfe
graham cash gen but needs fwds so idk
Parish is fools gold. I traded him in this week and had instant buyers remorse. Watching the game confirmed he is not a player to own this season. Good riddance.
TU: Parish to Petracca
TD: Parish to Steele
Dons MIDs CBAs v GWS
Zerrett – 21
Durham – 17
Stringer – 14
Parish – 12
Perking- 9
Caldwell – 2
That ain’t it, fam. Parish heaps HF, not full time MID. Tank issues, CP ratio issues.
I’d prefer more of a sure thing if sidewaysing though. Are you missing any of Bont, Butters, Serong, Zerrett?
They should really throw Stringer out of those CBAs. Only 12 touches and 2 clearances.
Caldwell had 7 clearances for the game, most by an Essendon player
I don’t have Bont because I was too cheap to start the season. Parish another cheap-ass move. Being a tightwad is working out real well!
Beware SC rule 101 about sideways trades after a bad game…two previous weeks for Parish 125/148.
Do you have any other pressing needs ???
Still holes in my forward line and down back but my disgust is too great. Parish must go.
If Parish is going to be playing in the forward line/CHF then he’s not going to come close to the previous two weeks numbers when he was run amok in the midfield.
Might bring out a boost this week. Give me your thoughts on this
In: Sullivan, Gawn, Butters
Out: Reid, Grundy, Fyfe
To use my final boost or not
TU – Howes/Roberts to Ryan/Sullivan
TD – Howes/Roberts/Reid to Dale/Sullivan/Zorko
Comment – 1.26mil to spend on two premiums, which two
Thoughts on what to do with Jack Macrae. He is scoring 80s against shit opposition and had no CBAs on the weekend. I’m concerned about his role and scoring potential in the future as it may get worse than 80s.
T/U: Hold
T/D: Trade
Ugh. I know, Yvonne.
How annoying is it. AND Libba was/is out. He’s also been starting on the bench every game.
Hard to argue with making him Zorko or even flicking across to someone with actual upside like Moore or Rankine.
T/Up Yes, Macrae is worth bringing in
T/D No, too expensive & he has real JS issues
Sheets will decide. De Goey, Titch and maybe McReery all available this week.
Sullivan’s game was more rounded than Macrae’s though imo.
My concern is he kicked 3 against weak opposition. He’s not going to do that every week
T/U Petracca/Zorko and 90k left ( easier to get the other one the following week) or
T/D Merrett and 20k left
Sorry but should have given following info for above – Trading out Reid (m8) and have Wilson (f7) and Darcy(f8)
Also an opinion on
T/U – Petracca ( value but many other mids and playing more fwd a worry – won’t kick 5 every week)
T/D – Zorko ( Top 3 fwd, consistent but always an injury concern)
Any extra points of view would be greatly appreciated
I’d go for Zorko. Way I see it he’ll probably be top 5 and great for a ton if he’s playing. With extra trades and way forward line is- I may be trying to get an extra premium on the bench and just play the higher scorer if possible and allow rest for one weeker concussions exc
The votes on Petracca or Zorko were strongly the other way in earlier votes in this same topic – wonder what has changed in the past day or two to swing it the other way to Zorko preferred over Petracca?
Who to trade out?
TU- Sheezel
TD- Yeo
thinking of using a boost this week not sure though
TU Reid Cadman Howes for Zorko dale and Reville/Sullivan leaves me with 205k in the bank
TD Reid Cadman for Zorko and Reville/Sullivan keep the boost save some money and hope Howes scores well against WC
Sidebottom’s new role off halfback is interesting. Only $346,5000 and should get dpp if it continues. Scored 118 last week.
346,500 that is
Played WC last week. I could score that playing against them!
Better trade in this week?
TU: Butters
TD: Zorko
Who scores more?
TU: Gulden v Blues
TD: Tom Green v B’dogs
Thanks
Thoughts
Out – Cadman, Roberts, sharp
In – Zorko, Sullivan, Mcgovern
or alternatively
T/U: L.Ryan
T/D: N.Martin
Tu: Reid, Roberts to Zorko, Sullivan/Reville.
201k inb but ill need to field one of H Garcia, Clark, Sullivan/Reville as M8
Td: Roberts, Wehr to Zorko, Sullivan/Reville
30k inb and Reid as M8. Just have to cop the 30-40k price hit and deal with Reid next week
This week I could turn Reid into Zorko, Heeney or Serong.
Tu: Serong
Td: Heeney
Comment: Zorko
Current fwds: Flanders, Moore, Reid, Wilson, Darcy, Jones (Nuyon, Livingstone)
Reid > one of the below
T/U: Heeney
T/D: Zorko
Hey guys! I’m thinking this is a no brainer this week!
Cadman-Reville
Reid-Butters
TU-Defs a great move
TD-Think again
T/U- Serong
T/D- Butters
TU: Stewart
TD: Wanganeen-Milera
geez people have really not been paying attention lately
Stewart is not a good trade target, and I say that as an owner. McEntee destroyed him last week and given how important he is to the Cats, you can bet it won’t be the last time he gets tagged like that.
Hi guys,
Steele been playing with a crook knee…
TU trade in he will be ok
TD not worth the risk
Thanks
Is Martin worth 90k more than Stewart?
TU Trade in Martin (Pay the money)
TD Trade in Stewart (Save the money)
Just a watch on Reville. 60% then 53% TOG. Is either not fit enough or carrying an injury. I did hear he picked up a cork in the game against Gold Coast, so that might be the reason.
Who to trade out?
TU- Whitfield
TD- Sheezel
Why would you trade out Whitfield? Surely you have bigger fish to fry.
It’s for Dream Team where his last 2 scores have been really bad and I need the cash for a good upgrade. (I mostly ask SC questions but this site is great) Cheers
Already have Daicos, Houston, Sheezel, and Stewart. Who should I pick out of these two:
T/up – Sinclair
T/down – Dale
Don’t go near Sinclair. I have him but it seems Delilah has cut Samsons hair!
Rethinking trades with Mckerchers Bone stress fracture and will again take the punt on Seagull Fisher.
TU Reid and Roberts to Martin and Fisher (Jones F6)
TD Roberts and Biggie to Martin and Sullivan (Garcia F6/Jones F7 Loop)
With news that McKercher will miss this week, who to bring in for him and Graham:
TU: Stewart, Archer / Hardeman
TU: Stewart, non-playing 117k DPP player to bank an extra 25k (noting that I have Zac Reid on the bench as cover for when he’s named again)
Wow. No Kerch. That’s huge.
Might be a swift turn around on my Sheezel short.
Hey GD, given its bone stress would you think multiple weeks? Surely they don’t risk him…
I am trying to get a couple of the uber premos that I missed I to my team.
What do you all think about:
Out: H.Sheezel, T.Brown and H.Reid
In: TU – L.Ryan, L.Sullivan and C.Serong
TD – L.Ryan, L.Sullivan and Z.Merret
Happy to hear feedback you have for me as well. I could possibly change Brown out to W.Graham out if I took Merrett.
Is it better to
TU trade Reid (WC) and Graham to Merrett and Reville or
TD Trade Reid and graham to Zorko and reville and 86k ITB
Merrett would finish my midfield but can wait a week with a BE of 137
Zorko would be my D4 but is a higher risk with his age and soft tissue injuries
Thanks for your thoughts
Priority Trade Out
TU: McKercher
TD: Zac Williams
Comment: Cadman
TU: Reid out – Either (Green, Laird or Walsh in)
TD: Reid and Garcia out – (Butters, Ryan) and Sullivan in
T/U- Petracca
T/D- Laird
Tom Stewart
TU – will keep getting tagged now that teams are seeing how effective it is, ceiling isn’t there, pass
TD – 500k is too cheap to pass up on, he’ll come good, get him in
Refer to SC rule 101 re sideways trades….especially if you still have rookies onfield.
Not sure what this has to do with my question haha
I had thought you held Stewart…if you dont, my comment is irrelevant.
TU – Zorko
TD – Steele
Reid and Darcy > Zorko Sullivan (swing wilson fwd as f6)
TU or TD
Harley Reid is going to be a star of the game, there’s no doubt. I reckon he regrets though being part of the West Coast setup.
The West media has boomed him up since before he was drafted. It has gone to another level since then. There was one day before the season started, The West Australian paper had 13 photos of him. Not bad for an untested player. My wife and I do a daily Harley watch in each paper we see and it’s rare if his photo is not in twice or more.
Probably drives him nuts too.
Maybe Reid’s hamstring will get a rest this week
Is Short a D6 possibility ??? Huge price fall, looks to have turned the corner, and if he plays down back gonna get plenty of ball. Allows earlier trade to either d5 or f6 to nearly complete team.
A…Shorty has 100% job Security..price is 382100 and a BE of 18..was 551000…can go big tons but can disappoint with a 70 …however the price and BE equals a no brainer inclusion…for Swan Roberts at 388600and BE of 124 or similar player
Who to field?
(How Now)
tu Brown
td Howes
🙂
Do we trade out Reid for Sullivan, or keep him even if he looses you cash
TU: TRADE
TD: KEEP F6
Currently have 7 premo mids in Butters, Bont, Miller, Green, Merrett, Dawson, Walsh. For my last premo is it a must to get serong or should I go one of the discounted melb mids in oliver or trac?
Currently have 18 trades left and need to upgrade 1 def, 1 mid, 2 fwds and 1 ruck (have sweet as R2 atm)
T/U build up the cash for Serong
T/D go the value in oliver/trac in the next week or so
Tu Rogers and Reid out-Sullivan and Dale in..
Td Darcy and Reid out-Sullivan and Trac/Zorko in
Better downgrade option
Sullivan
or
Reville??
I feel Sullivan’s job security is worse than Reville’s but not sure
Cheers
TU – Petracca this week
TD – Rowell in 1 / 2 weeks
Bye structure and planning to get other premiums meaning only really want one
Keen to get updated preferences for this
TU- Sullivan
TD- Reville
An earlier poll was 53 Sullivan, 9 Reville
I suspected it might swap
Trade Ins this week:
TU: Petracca & Butters
TD: Petracca & Marshall
Thanks team! Great consensus
Jeremy McGovern
TU – good option, genuine premo this year
TD – injury risk is too high, don’t do it
Been going back and forward with the two below….
TU – Zorko
TD – Rankine
Was going nice and easy this week
Reid to Zorko and Graham/Rogers to Bruce/Sullivan.
But with McKercher out for I reckon until his bye at least, I need either Pink or Reid to play or I’m copping donut.
TU: Stick with Plan A and take the donut
TD: Use my last boost on something like Reid/McKercher/Graham to Zorko/Bruce/Fisher
Or keep Reid for an extra week and cop the loss in cash to cover McKercher
TU: McKercher/Graham to Bruce/Houston
TD: One of the above is better
What to do with Matt Rowell
T u hold
T d trade to butters
Why Would you want to trade Rowell?
You obviously bought in Rowell as a keeper and now you want to side ways trade him.
Surely you have more pressing issues to deal with with your team unless you have a completed team.
TU – Blakey
TD – Wanganeen-Milera
This could either be a genius move or a really really really dumb move but hey nothing wrong with a risk.
Mckercher and Reid out
Fisher and Oliver in
Is it worth being this stupid?
North yet to fully confirm duration of mckercher injury, suggesting he will be re-evaluated next week, is this a good sign or bad sign?
Should I be thinking of trading this week even though I can use chlosey as cover or should I trade him now?
Stress fractures in feet are generally not a 1-2 week injury but more like 4 plus. Hopefully more news will be forthcoming
To bring in Zorko
Trade out
TU – Reid
TD – James Jordon
Would leave 2 boost and 21 trades. Completes midfield
In: Zorko, Butters & Sullivan
Out: Reid, Graham, Cadman
TU: Yep
TD: Nope
5 ups and I’m bringing in Dependlebury.
TU –
OUT = H Reid & Nyuon
IN = Zorko & Sullivan (advantage of getting D Jones from F6 to bench)
TD –
OUT = H Reid & Graham
IN = Serong & Sullivan (disadvantage of playing D Jones at F6 with Nyuon & Livingstone both non playing on bench)
TU: Rankine
TD: Zorko
Which Trade Out Combo?
TU: Yeo+Nyuon
TD: HReid+WGraham
TU: Butters to give me 8 premo mids
TD: Ryan to give me 6 premo defenders
TU
Ried to Sullivan
Rogers to Petracca (just short of Zorko)
TD
Ried to Sullivan
Hold the cash and Rogers this week and look to upgrade next week.
If McKercher is out multiple weeks, who replaces?? (Only have 400k)
TU: Short
TD: Fisher
Both are a risk but it’s that or a donut.
bigger priority of getting out?
Tu-mckercher
Td-powell
Trades last week (Roberts & T.Berry > Ryan & D.Jones)
DEF: Ryan, Daicos, Houston, Sheezel, NWM, Clohesy (Reid, Coffield)
MID: Serong, Bont, Butters, Walsh, Steele, LDU, Green
W.Graham (H.Garcia, Rogers, Mannagh)
RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Sweet)
FWDS; Flanders, Reid, D.Wilson, T.Powell, S.Darcy, D.Jones (Nyuon, Livingstone)
$133,500 ITB, 22 trades left, 2 boosts.
Is it as simple as Reid & Coffield to Zorko and Sullivan/Reville? It would leave me with $32,200 ITB for next week. I could replace Coffield with Biggie and save an extra 50k ($$82,600 ITB)
TU – Reid & Coffield to Zorko and Sullivan/Reville ($32,200 ITB)
TD – Reid & Biggie to Zorko and Sullivan/Reville ($82,600 ITB)
Hi guys,
TU trade Fyfe
TD trade Powell
Comment Dempsey ???
Thanks
Dempsey
Fyfe had 10 clangers and 6 fa…..I’m giving him another chance.
In need of a Mid Premo as I’ve got a donut (McKercher, Lazarro, Rodgers, Graham)
T/U – Petracca this week
T/D – Play Garcia (Saints) and get Rowell once he bottoms out next week (expecting a big score from him)
Rowell has R12 bye.
Sorry Wighty, but I think it’s R14
I have finally settled on my trades for this week
Shaggi, you not worried that with McKercher out, Sheezel goes back and takes Fisher’s points?
TU: Oliver
TD: Rankine
Just short of Zorko. Other option is to hold Reid another week and save the trade, take the cash loss.
TU: Roberts & Reid to Short/Fisher & Steele/Petracca
TD: Roberts & Biggie to Stewart & Sullivan
Is McKercher a must trade now?
Spewing I only got him last week.
Trade
Or
Keep
Hi all,
trade in
TU Steele
TD Zorko
Thanks
Looks like Richmond’s McAuliffe ($117,300 MID – scored 16 as sub in round 4, then 58 points in round 5) is going to be recalled this week for Richmond.
Has been in very good form in the VFL – getting good disposal numbers & he loves a tackle.
Is he a better option to trade in that either Lachie Sullivan ($102,400) or Fin McCrae ($168,900)?
T/up Bring in McAuliffe (Richmond)
T/down Bring in Sullivan (Collingwood)
Want to do Reid > Heeney, but I can do that without making a second trade
I’ve discussed outing Fyfe, but heaps of you seem to thinking I should hold him. Only other player to out would be Graham, but there’s no defender rookie on the bubble and I can’t switch him into the midfield.
So what do I do? Because I have no intentions of trading out any other player from my team atm
???
Graham – Zorko
Or
McKercher – Zorko
Cheers
TU- NWM
TD- Stewart
Round 2
TU: Stewart
TD: Fisher and save 130k
Trades look like.
Liam Baker -> Luke Ryan
Howes -> Sullivan
Reid -> Oliver
Thoughts?
TU Oliver
TD Petracca
?
Is it worth using last boost to trade Darcy -> Fisher?
Use last boost?
Fyfe -> Butters??
Really unsure if Fyfe is worth holding as fwd keeper.
