    1. Worth keeping in mind that next week is the only week where you would need an emergency to cover Oliver.. after that is best 18 in the byes, so if it’s a 4 weeker- Oliver likely to be back on field come the end of the byes. Assuming it’s the 4 weeks – i’m holding.

      1. Totally a case for holding.

Loss of a C option, won’t be able to get him back in at 660k.

Having a dead bench is really the only thing preventing me from holding.

Probably going to drop to a 500k~ option, bank the cash and accelerate to full premo – accepting I’ll get murdered when he comes back.

      2. Very good point. If I wasn’t in the top 1000 and playing for overall I’d hold. As it is I’m burning through the trades to get as high a rank as possible

      3. Cant agree…including his bye, that is four weeks Clarriless at 120 odd ppg. Assumes of course punters have trades to use. Best case is probably some 60ppg cover.

    1. Cats B list midfield isn’t providing him supply at the moment. If they get a few back from injury he’ll jack up quick.

  1. Def- Dawson, stewart, daicos, sinclair, Day and atkins (Contstable wagner)
Mid- bont, oliver, Anderson, laird, green, steele, Kennedy, chesser (cincotta, roberts, dury)
    Rucks, marhsall, witts (madden)
Fwd- Dunkley, taranto, ziebell, rozee, sheezel, mitchell (Ryan and Simpson)
I got 103,700 in the bank, with the possibility of needing to trade out Oliver and one of ryan and Simpson (comment which one).

Tu- If oliver and ryan into strong and cameron is a viable option otherwise comment what you think is a better trade for the week

    1. Merrett has some easy games next couple and history of scoring well. That said, Serong is going well.
      Steele is cheap.
Whichever one best suits your byes.

      10

  2. TU: Simpson, Ginbey >> Fleeton, De Goey
TD: Simpson, Ginbey >> O’Donnell, Sinclair

First option gives me DeGoey at M7 and a bench defender that could make cash and cover during the byes.

Second option means getting a bench def that will make little to no cash but i get Sinclair at D5.

Either option allows me to cover Oliver with Humphrey

  3. If it’s a standard 3 week hammy for Clarry then he’ll potentially only miss 2 games as it’ll be 24 days between Melbourne’s rd10 game vs Port and their rd13 game vs Pies.
    Worth keeping that in mind.

  4. Holding Clarry for now.
    Ryan > Dale
Leaves me with 21 Trades (3 Boosts) $55k ITB
    TU Good Trade
    TD Bad Trade

      1. If that is Luke Ryan, then it’s sideways to Dale. Even if it is Sampson Ryan, Dale is maybe not a great premo choice.
The other issue would be going early on Ford. It’s rarely a great idea – ask those that went early in Drury! He’s been around awhile, so has the feel of a one game wonder.
Can’t speak for all the TD’s, but that’s mine

        13

        0
      2. Probably the Dale suggestion. Are you thinking he’ll get more ball with JJ going down?

21 trades feels like more than most. Is Dale really worth the risk when even at his best, he’s been fringe top 6-8 defs?

        2

        0
    1. Just a warning Austin Richard Post – Docherty looked to slightly tweak his hamstring in a long kick for goal late in the game. Grabbed at it immediately and then a bit after. He came to the bench, got it rubbed and went back on.

      9

      0
  5. Out – Oliver, Day
    In – Merrett, Sinclair
Given day is averaging 85 over the last 4 and only got 74 against west coast I think he has to go

    5

    19
  6. Unrelated question.

But at this point in the season where should one be ranked to still have a chance to win overall?

Been a while since I’ve played SC and currently in the top 4%!

    4

    9
  7. Is it too late to get Bailey Humphrey?

I know he went up $72k this week but with his low BE a score of 64 gives him another $53k rise next week.

I can sideways a near dead rookie (Simpson) to him in one trade.

He is good enough to play on field through the byes and gives coverage in R14 &15.

    T/U Still worth getting

T/D Nope, you missed the boat

    27

    32
  8. Same question as with Bailey Humphrey.

Is it too late to get Josh Weddle?

Went up $62k this week and with scores of 62 in the next 2 games he is predicted to go up another $85k.

Playing like he is, there is very little chance he is going to be dropped.

I can sideways Cincotta to him and he will provide cover in R15 where I will struggle to field 18.

    T/U still worth getting

T/D Nope, you missed the boat

    16

    35
  9. Is moving Ziebell to Laird too sideways? Currently overloaded on Rd15 bye players, and the 179 will drop from Ziebell’s average, so can make some good coin on him

    9

    13
  10. Is it bad i only have 13 trades and no boosts left after this round??
I traded out oliver, baker and ratugolea and bought in neale, serong and mcandrew and have $78,000 left in bank.

    Current team:
    Dawson, Daicos, Sicily (cincotta)
    sheezel, wilmont, atkins (wagnar)

    Bont, Butters (davey)
    Serong, Gulden, laird (Sharp)
    green, neale, coniglio (uwland)

    marshall, english (mcandrew)

    dunkley, taranto, zeibell (phillipou)
    rozee, mitchell, van rooyen (drury)

    TU: good idea
TD: bad idea, figure out something else

Can someone please let me know if they have any better trade ideas or not???

    2

    17
    1. With 13 trades left, I would suggest parking your team for a couple of weeks and doing no trades.

      10

      3
      1. McAndrew also has a bye before he’s on the bubble. Wait till round 13 to swap him Ratugolea who will be on bye that week

        5

        0
    2. If it was me I would probably just go Phillipou to Ford.
Yes a week early but its a punt to generate some cash for upgrades next week.
Sharp onfield for Oliver to give an extra week for any more news on how long he may be out.
      And leave it at that.

      2

      1
  11. DEF – Dawson, Stewart, Daicos, Lloyd, Wilmot, Mitchell (Cincotta, Constable)
MID – Oliver, Petracca, Serong, Walsh, Green, Merrett, Macrae, Sharp (Johnson, Davey, Drury)
    RUC – Marshall, English (Madden)
FWD – Dunkley, Taranto, Ziebell, Coniglio, Ziebell, Simpson (Angwin, Roberts)

    15 trades/1 boost/$4,700 remaining

Not sure whether I should trade out anyone or not, but I know I do have rookie issues atm (more so in the midfield and forward line). Not so much whether they’re getting games or not, but they’re not making any money because they keep scoring so low

    0

    2
      1. You have 4 rookies on field, which is not too bad. But I can only see Mitchell + Wilmot to a premium. That leaves 3 to go. But I would suggest you are 6-8 weeks at converting the rest of your rookies to another premium.
The issue for most of us in a similar position is that the cash gen is coming from rookies who have already had increases, like Humphrey and Weddle. And then there is Fyfe.

Option 1 – Cincotta and Simpson to Weddle and Fyfe.

Option 2 – use Oliver’s injury to bring in a couple of sub premos. I am thinking Oliver to DeGoey and Simpson to Salem. (If you use a boost of Cincotta to Wardlaw, then DeGoey could be Steele.)

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

        1

        1
      2. Just realised you don’t have Weddle.
Weddle and Wardlaw an affordable option for you Widdle Wabbit?

        1

        1
    1. Nothing hard and fast to prescribe, WW.

Holding Satan and freshening up CG with Wardlaw the two questions you face this week.

      It’s a very tricky week.

      3

      0
    2. Cincotta and Simpson > Ford and Humphrey perhaps (via DPP).
      Better than fielding Simpson.
Other rooks need to go like Davey/Angwin/Roberts but you have no bank
You have 2 Ziebells. Is one Sheezel?

      2

      1
    3. You have to trade. Oliver probaly gone until after his bye, sharp & simpson dropped and I’ll be very suprised if Drury makes the cut.
Turn oliver into humphrey and simpson into one of the port boys

      0

  12. Oliver….

    T/U Straight to Laird/Dawson……but who ??
T/D Also trade Mckenna and get Titch as m8 and Bailey Dale at d6…..both could be luxury trades later if trades hold up.

    8

    1
  13. If Oliver is not not out for a month
Oliver, Hollands, Cincotta > Doc, Merrett, Sharp

    TU = Bueno
    TD = No Bueno

    4

    9
    1. Wouldn’t jump on Sharp, no. Was subbed, not great scoring and no guarantee of lasting through the byes.

Wardlaw if you need to go early. If that then prices you out of Doch, I’d just go Riddles or May.

Zerrett a great pick but note he will be tagged this week by O’Neil.

      8

      1
    2. Merrett is just as yoyo as yeo. 3-4 sub 100 then a soft opponent gives him a 150+ to up his average, always goes missing when opposed to a tough midfield. The epitome of a downhill skier

  14. If Oliver out this weeks trades are
Oliver ,Hopper , and S Ryan out and in comes T Green , Serong , and Butters
any feed back welcome will leave me with no cash 19 trades left and 3 boosts left

  15. Thoughts on these trades??

    Clarry + O.Baker > Merrett & Neale

I know some of you are strongly against Neale this year, but is there anyone you’d really take over him for ~650k?

    11

    0
    1. I wouldn’t touch merrett, 4 sub 100 from 11 games isn’t good enough for a guy costing 580k Neale has only 1 less sub 100 than merrett but he’s 20k cheaper.
Rozee probably a better option than both coz you can switch him forward.

I could be wrong coz I’ve finished outside top 10k for the last 3 years after being well inside top 100 before byes

  16. Oliver and Ginbey out.

TU: Sicily & Sinclair in (finished defence w/ Dawson, Daicos, Stewart & Ryan)
    TD: Laird & Ford

  20. Alright, so here’s where I’m at.

Totally dead bench, in trouble for a lot of the byes and Satan and Hollands on field.

    My solution?

    Satan -> Stewart
    Hollands -> J. Cameron

    My thinking?

With no live bench rookies to fill me out during the byes, two Cats players get it done. Just superb coverage.

Had previously wanted a like priced premo MID to replace Satan but Stewart can do 115-120 anyway and is sensational. Did then like Riddles or May as ultra budget options but the extra scratch for J. Cameron also me another player across the 3 main byes.

    Leaves me with:
    – 11 trades
    – 100k ITB
    – Mitchell and Humph as remaining rookies on field, who are both pretty lit
    – 16/15/16 across the byes

Then have the next two weeks to freshen up rookies (Wardlaw, Ford & McAndrew) and tee up for the byes and backend of the season.

Not ideal but this is far from an ideal season.

    12

    10
  21. Need to make big moves to stay in touch with the top 1000.
Oliver, Oskar out (hopefully buy Oliver back cheaper)
    Steele, Coniglio in.

Gives me an extra premo and only two players to make a full team.

Worth the risk or Oliver will make me pay?

    9

    2
  22. Is it worth going Day to Sicily in one trade?

Have exactly enough cash itb to make it happen!

    18

    3
    1. I can’t work out why this is so one sided… Day looked amazing at the start of the WC game, they had to shut him down with an O’Neil tag. WC are the only team that will tag Hawthorn. It’s a waste of a trade IMO and Day at D5 or 6 is brilliant

      4

      0
  23. I moved countries the week before round 1 so haven’t been as active here as I was over the last couple of years and my team is really paying for it with a rank of 30k even after scoring 2700 this week. Took a bit of a gamble on Fiorini at $311k and it worked for a week but been disappointing the other two so got to cut bait. My question is:

    TU: Fiorini to Humphrey
TD: Fiorini & M Johnson to Sicily & Fleeton

    5

    3
    1. Worth noting that Humphrey leaves me with a bit over $200k for trades over the byes while the other option is only $10k. I could do Cincotta out too but need people playing in round 12 so just hoping he comes back then but I guess I’ll ad that pill. Who to trade?

      TU: Cincotta
      TD: M Johnson

It seems, on my end at least, I can comment the first time but not any further.

    1
  25. Thinking ill hold Oliver as this is the only week it will really hurt but have Baker to cover him. 1st trade this week is bringing Laird in the second im stuck on.

T/U: Steele (Cheaper and better bye if im holding Clarry)
T/D: Sicily (3 of the last 4 have been 128 plus so wont be this cheap again for a bit)

    4

    12
  26. Clarry McKenna Ryan > Laird Atkins Humphrey
Leaves me with 19 Trades still and $266k ITB

    TU: Good Trades
    TD: Bad Trades

    5

    2
  27. D: Daicos, Sicily, Sinclair, Sheezel, Wilmot, McVee (Cincotta, Constable)
M: Oliver, Bont, Serong, Gulden, Green, Steele, Ashcroft, Hollands (Davey, Sharp, Roberts)
    R: English, Marshall (Madden)
F: Cogs, Dunks, Taranto, Rozee, JHF, Mitchell (Long, Drury)

    20 trades, $319.6k in bank.
Initial plan was straight upgrade Hollands>Zerrett but Oliver injury and lack of good bench cows is making me rethink. Don’t want to go early on cows either.
    TU: Go straight to Merrett.
TD: Hold Hollands as at least he’s playing, upgrade Cincotta/McVee for better Def cover.

    3

    5
  28. My prized midpriced POD starter Holmes has added to Geelong and Big Telescopic Cox’s injury woes.

    Do I

    T/U – Drink bleach
T/D – Jump the lion enclosure at Melbourne Zoo

    2

    19
    1. Bombers supporter here – he’s actually been very serviceable but with laverde and Kelly returning soon, the backline starts to get crammed. He’ll be one average game away from getting dropped, maybe the gws defender Fleeton is a better option considering their injuries? And he’s cheaper

      2

      0
  29. Cincotta played 3/4 solid games and had the one poor one.
Anybody know whether he was carrying injury in that one, and whether he played on weekend?
Just wondering whether he’s worth getting rid off- as already have Constable & Roberts holding spots. Any blues fan with an insight?

    2

    0
    1. I got rid of Constable a long time ago. Hasn’t even made the emergencies since being dropped. Cincotta should get games again this season, he was an emergency last week.

  30. TU Sinclair
    TD Humprey
If i get humprey i cannot get sinclair this week.
is it better to get humprey now or sinclair as i can wait until after the bye for sinclair

    8

  31. It’s Sinclair v Sicily this week.

Leaning towards bringing Sinclair in, but has a bye next week, BE is 83.

TU: Bring in this week, will go well v Hawks
    TD: Wait til post bye

    0

    5
    1. My take: Siciliy goes bigger this week vs Saints, Merrett might (probably will) get the O’Neil tag but Merret will outscore Sicily for the remainder of the season

  33. 16 trades and 2 boosts left.

T/U – Oliver, Buckley, O Baker ——> Steele, Neale, Wardlaw

    Cheers

  34. So throwing bit of a hail Mary up here and hopefully Joe Montana is throwing it.

Jelly is out for a month with a hamstring..
    So I’m thinking:
    TU/TD: Jelly & Cincotta -> weddle & humprey
    BANK $465k

Go a premium down for 1 week but silver lining is i get the cash I’m missing and a bye cover player in Humphrey.. I plan on using the bank for steele post bye and probably serong/neale/brayshaw as well to cover off the rest of byes. Thoughts??

    9

  35. Is George Hewett a must trade considering he was named sub? Or was that just a failed one off and can count on him to be playing full games here on out (personally feel quite uneasy holding him as that sub decision shocked me quite a bit).

    4

    0
    1. Yeah, Ben. Hewett murdered me too.

Saw him back with the match fitness and full CBA load and I thought ‘great!’ but the Blues are just straight up clowning.

He’d been better than Cripps 2 weeks prior to being dropped as well. Lol.

Bizarre they used him as the sub against a lightning fast Pies side where they really could have used a stabilising player like Hewett at stoppage. Probably comes back into the side but just has no kind of continuity to build form and scoring off of.

He goes. Heading towards a price where it won’t be easy to get him to a decent replacement either.

I did him to De Goey last week. Think you could give that a look as well.

See you at the Victims of Carlton in SC support group meeting this week.

  37. Hi all, thinking the following…
Day has reversed his kick to handball ratio the last fortnight- often happens when mids start copping run with players. This is the reason for his score drop, Clarry is out for about the length of a piece of string.
Was bringing in Wardlaw and Baldwin- in place of Stringer and Hollands.
    14 trades remaining.
Now want to trade the pink pig and will for Laird and Docherty.
    T/u good plan
T/d keep cracking on with the rookie cash gen.

    5
  38. Think I have landed on my trades this week. Feel like Humphrey and Atkins boats have sailed.
Clarry Sampson Ryan > Laird Sicily
I am chasing points on field so feel like I cant carry Clarry. Leaves me with 20 Trades $8.7k ITB

    TU: Good Trades Do it
TD: Bad Trades Dont do it

    16

    1. Depends on your bye structure.

All things being equal, I’d go Libba or Zerrett.

*note Zerrett will get tagged by O’Neil this week however

      2

      0
  39. Does N Anderson need to go?
I bought into the hype after the 189 but he’s dropped an 88 and a 79 since.

Now has a breakeven of 201 and I’m thinking I could take the small amount of money he went up and run.

T/U – Get out while you can.
T/D – Hang in there, he is the real deal.

    9

    7
      1. Understand that but I feel for a 600k+ type uber premo you need them to push through and grind out scores in the region of 100 (which neither was really close too).

Think I’ll trade him out for T Stewart (which keeps bye structure in tact) and pocket the 70+$K

        1

        3
        1. Slightly contradictory as Stewart just scored 91, Stewart is a great pick but it’s a waste of a trade, need to be upgrading/downgrading to get to him

          5

          1
          1. Did you watch the game?

Stewart scored 91 and basically had his worst game ever.

CD loves Stewart – if he can get a 91 with that performance he’s a very safe pick.

            1

            0
            1. I just think the priority should be getting a rookie off the field, trading a premo for a premo quite often a waste

              5

              0
  40. Rank 4,000th, 14 trades left, 3 rookies on field.
Thinking double downgrade – Cowan and Hollands to Fleeton and McAndrew
This will mean i can bring in Dawson next week

    T/U
    T/D

    6

    1
    1. Can you do anyone other than McAndrew? He’s just not going up in price for at least 2 weeks cause he’s on bye next round

      0

      0
  41. Of the top 7 mids Bont is the only one I don’t have. I have enough $ to trade Clarry to Bont, but would leave me with 17 trades. I have 2 warm bodies on the bench, but both avg <50 pts.
    Bring Bont in our not?

    13

    1
    1. Counter to the 10 TUs, I’d wait.

      A few reasons:
      – has the dreaded last bye and you want to be preparing to target post bye players
      – coming off a little niggle, reportedly fine and will play but I’d just pump the brakes (personal preference though, that’s just how I play)
      – 707k with a BE 181, yeah you’re likely just dropping 50k onto Satan but is going to come down

      2

      1. Why is it too late? Still have 20 trades and the points on field during the byes could be invaluable. Both still have money to make. You wouldn’t do McKenna to one of them GB?

        6

        1. Why not just upgrade McKenna?

The bye coverage is great, I get it. But the same can be achieved with Stewart, Powell, Anderson, J. Cameron and Hawkins.

Bye planning and coverage is important, yes, but the name of the game is still full premo and net points.

Idk, that’s just my take. If it works for your team and you’re hot on it, do it. Changing and chopping non keeper 300k players just weird at this stage of the season imo.

    1. Not Macrae, no. See if he can pinch FWD status, otherwise not that good a buy as a MID.

      Replacing Jelly. Let’s see. 591k.

      Two paths.

Path #1 is an out and out premo replacement, in which case the options are obvious. Filter them through your byes. Taking some of the popular picks I assume you have off the rack, Libba and Zerrett are nice buys. Even Stewart if you don’t have him is great.

Path #2 really depends on how big a gain it can net you but you could drop Jelly to a cheap DEF like Riddles or May, do a downgrade and then boost an upgrade in. The initial premo MID to 400k DEF costs you -25 points but then a rookie up more than covers it. Could be a nice way to expedite your way to full premo.

      Best of luck.

  46. Is it worth using my last boost to trade humprey in will only leave me with 1k next week but does help a lot for bye rounds

    1. Too late for Humphrey at 285k. Seeing him mentioned a lot.

Offers bye cover, yes, but just forge ahead with upgrades and have the byes in mind imo.

    1. Thanks for keeping us in line, KITM@SCT. Ads provide the writers with a little bit of dough for the hours of work they put in but I’ll never again let it get to the point where its impacting the reading experience as much as it was. Thanks for your feedback and thanks for your ongoing support, mate.

  48. I’ve made the decision to trade Clarry (I think). Thoughts on:
Cowan/Cincotta/Davey, Oliver and Hollands > Butters, Fleeton (on the bubble) and Dale.

Leaves me with 15 trades and 2 boosts after this trade.

    In: below

    TU: Humphrey & weddle
Purely a cash generation play and bye coverage
Go a premium down for 2 weeks but back Humphrey in to go 80 and I’ll get steele & also a brayshaw/serong/neale post R12 bye.

    TD: Humphrey & Laird
Gets an uber in Laird but miss weddle? Lairds R14 will also sting a little.. try get steele post bye but no guarantee.

Considerably cheap and honestly only really has 2 bad scores
    Also suits my byes

Is it more personal preference now? neale has the better bye for me and scared merret starts getting tagged

    TU go for it
    TD hold Clarry

TD: Oliver and Hunter Clark to 2 of Libba, Butters and Merrett

  56. I just told my wife that Oliver needed to be replaced in her team. She said what about bringing in Jock. I didn’t have the heart to tell her that he was a LTI.
The stresses of running two teams! 😉

  57. TU or TD?

Outs – Kelly, cincotta and ginbey

  58. Seriously looking at Macrae for Oliver. Has fallen $84k, leaves $112k itb, be now 108, good chance of dpp, plays four of the next five rounds, and can be held over r15 as two of Walsh/Cripps/Doch get traded out for post bye players and the run home.

    T/u Great idea
T/d Go to the back of the class dunce !!!

  59. Tough one, but who of O’Donnell and Muslin from Geelong could have better JS during the byes. Can only get a $102k rookie if i want to bring in sinclair.

Dont need either on field, but an additional player playing during the byes is a bonus.

    0

    0
      1. O’Donnell has scored 23 and 15 and could drop below $102K.
Mullin would want to be special as he has Bowes, Dangerfield, Clark, Duncan, Holmes, Simpson, Menegola, Stanley and Rohan to take his place

  60. Ranked about 2500, also have no H to H matches in our league over the 4 bye rounds 12-15 so no real need to trade oliver.

TU Oliver and roberts to Sicily and Atkins

TD roberts to wardlaw only, Keep Oliver thru the byes

  61. To be able to get Dawson next week, Neale the week after and then bring back Oliver, I need to chop Ziebell this week for $ (perks of having horrible rookie CG).

I’m set on Ridley, but who does everyone else like?

    Tu) Bailey Dale

    Td) Ridley

        1. Hahaha that’s ok, yeah leaning Ridley as well. Averaging 92 if you take out the concussion game.

Has a good run from here, should be able to do 95 I’d think. Fine for a D6, especially considering it allows Clarry back.

  62. Which rookie to trade out this week:

Tu- Simpson (rested) chance to come back through the byes as coverage

    Td- cincotta

    1

    8
  63. Is it better to:

TU) Cash in on Simpson and trade him down to Wardlaw, leaves me with ~130k in the bank

TD) trade a non-playing rookie (Constable) up to Wardlaw, leaves me with only ~7k on the bank but allows me to have Simpson on the bench for coverage and he may still go up in price if he comes back and scores well.

Leaving more towards the second option as it’s looking highly unlikely that Constable will get a game, it allows me to cash in on Simpson later, hopefully he can still get a game or two.

  64. Rookie carnage at the selection table last night.
It will be worse if Wilmot doesn’t play.
Looks like only 2 selected rookies on the bubble in Spicer and O’Donnell.
O”Donnells BE 21 but he is only averaging 19 from his 2 games.
Spicer BE -2, but an average of 37 doesn’t set the world on fire either.
Ford and Wardlaw look interesting but we have all been burnt bringing in high scoring rookies after one game.
Have an itchy trigger figure to get rid of a non playing rookie, but the risk is too great of bringing in another nonplaying or non performing rookie.

    Brody Kemp at $245K ?

    1. I think Wardlaw is a lock to get multiple games, barring injury. He’s a high pick and looked the goods on the weekend. Highly doubt they’ll only bring him in for 2 games and then drop considering he and Sheezel are being propped up as the foundation of the rebuild.

      5

  65. I have 19 trades left.

I copped rookie carnage (Simpson, Sharp, Gould, Davey and Chesser all dropped) but thankfully no donuts. Problem is I have so much CG dead weight on the bench with Cincotta and Constable as well.

I’m considering the following to provide myself a CG injection and to make sure I have warm bodies over the byes.

    OUT: Cincotta, Davey, Simpson
    IN: Weddle, Humphrey, Baldwin

    This will leave me with:

    D6: Weddle
M7 and M8: Ashcroft, Ratkins (Ginbey)
    F6: Humphrey (Mitchell)

I will consider Wardlaw and Ford next week based on how they look this week.

Ideally, I would then 14 trades to complete the team and touch it up for the rest of the season.

    Do I sound insane:

    TU: Yes
    TD: Eh, not really.

Would welcome some thoughts from one and all.

Might be worth holding Simpson and seeing what happens as he has the good bye.

      1. Thanks mate. I’ll have a think over. Might me only mean one of Weddle/Humphrey and maybe going early on the North boys…

Leaning towards Humphrey due to the great bye round.

    1. Hey Paul.

Tick off the Oliver trade. Not sure you need to go early on Ginbey to Wardlaw. Ginbey has great JS and will play through to his Bye. I would prefer if you fixed a dead rookie ( Cincotta / Cowan / Simpson ) if you want to take a punt on Wardlaw early.

  66. Hey everyone, little bit of context for my potential trade plan/s. Current rank 770 with 15 trades & 1 boost left + 295 ITB. Before trades this week have 3 rookies + Sheezel (most likely will keep/luxury) on field.

So plan is Oliver -> Merrett & Teakle via dpp x 2 -> Stewart

Thinking is Melbourne in a strong spot & have said they won’t take any risk with Oliver so might be longer than traditional hammy. Also being up there in rank don’t want to give ground + Merrett has WC.

The second trade was a toss up between Stewart & Butters, I can do either but feel the move is done with Zac & his game style does suit injury & has chance to have bad down games in there during seasons. Stewart also has GWS at Geelong where he loves playing, I don’t believe they will tag either.

I would love your thoughts on the plans & if you think there better opportunity with Butters over Stewart
