If you can trade him up to a fallen premo (ie Mills) you’ d be crazy not to!
Or you can even make abit of profit and trade him “down” to Hawkins. With a string of games coming up at GMHBA on the run home it’s one move that I am strongly considering.
Held Briggs through the byes with intentions of keeping him at R2 for the remainder of the season.
Also cashing in Marshall gets me more value and allows me to grab a 600k + premo!
1 more premo to upgrade tossing up between Libba, Oliver and butters.
I am leaning towards Libba but not having Oliver could be costly
Going Libba or butters would leave me with 100k with 3 trades left with no upgrades needed
So, I have Rowan Marshall, Jarrod Witts and Kieren Briggs on my ruck line. Like many around these parts, I only need to keep two of the three and intend cashing one in for my final FWD upgrade. I think I’ll hold on to Briggs and get rid of one of the other two.
So who should I get rid of?
TU Marshall
TD Witts
I’m in the exact same boat and am having a tough time deciding which of Witts and RoMo to drop, especially because I started with both of them. However, the chance to save a trade and finish upgrading with the cash is too tempting.
Statistically, RoMo’s average is usually higher post-byes than pre-byes (for 2019, 2021, and 2022). For Witts, he had a higher 2nd half average in 2019 but not last year, though that is likely due to him coming off an injury year in 2021 and not having the same level of conditioning.
The only other consideration is the ruck outlook at each club and another post was talking about RoMo potentially leaking points due to not taking ruck duties in forward 50.
I’m leaning towards trading RoMo but I’m not 100% sold at this point.
I’m only playing for leagues so my decision may differ from others, English is a lock R1 in my side, but giving it a few more weeks before I decide between RoMo and Briggs.
As said in previous comment RoMo may go large against WC and shouldn’t lose cash, and it gives me a larger sample size on Briggs.
1 more trade to full premo and unsure which road to take. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Haven’t seen much of Lachie Ash from Giants this season… is he worth a look as M8/D6 cover (as has DPP flexibility) or consider a more proven, pure M8 eg. Sam Walsh (or similar priced Mid)?
TU – Ash is a good player, will serve you well for the remainder of the season – $50K ITB after trade.
TD – Don’t muck around, just get in Sam Walsh (or Mark Blicavs, or Ollie Wines… comments please?) – Approx. $15K ITB after trade.
Libba Petracca Dawson Brayshaw Merret or Jelly.
I think I am choosing Libba this week as my final upgrade over Petracca & Oliver as I already have Dawson Brayshaw & Merrett.
OUT: S Mitchell, Cincotta & RoMo
IN: N Daicos, Keays & Mullin (purely for the extra cash),
This will leave me with 3 trades for the rest of the year, but I’ll have a full premo side (I’ll have Fyfe as bench cover, Briggs as 2nd ruck & $38k ITB)!
Finishing off my team and need my last forward spot. Wanted Butters but was 1.1k short thanks to Humphrey’s poor score and price decrease.
A few options and if I could get a few opinions that’ll be great.
TU: Humphrey + Johnson to Macrae + Maric bank 19,3k
Or
TD: Humphrey + Cincotta to Keays + Mullin bank 99k
I know Maric and Mullin aren’t that great but for bench fillers and maximum cash input onto field I think they are alright.
I like Keays and the Adelaide fixtures, he’s also that pod in ownership and leaves me cash to potentially up Steele or Sheezel.
Macrae is a great player, obviously doesn’t play that pig role anymore but he’s probably safer option but paying up for that with nothing left in the bank.
Just to note: I’ve got Wardlaw and Johnson on the mid bench. Currently with 6 trades left with 1 boost. If I went Keays, I could boost Steele up to Wines or Sheezel up to Houston to give some pod options into the run home. Will post team in reply comment.
Through some miracle I can complete my side this week with two trades in hand if I bring in DCam + Ziebell for Gawn + Humphrey with $0 remaining (it’s a sign!). I still have funds on the bench so will use that + last two trades for strictly injury, break-in-case-of- emergency options.
I’d like to know whether folks think Ziebell is the best option at the price point or do I go slightly cheaper with Saad.
Leaning towards Parish to have a big finish in a contract year, I can see Serong getting a bit worn out given the load he’s been carrying. Can’t go wrong with either one but just keen for thoughts.
I have Briggs at R3, and Grundy at R2. For cash gen to complete full premo, I’m thinking of keeping Briggs as R2, and trading Grundy to lowest price rookie. Footy wire have Grundy only 40 odd % to make BE this week.
TU or TD?
Atkins, Humphrey and Briggs out
Oliver, Trac and any playing/non-playing DEF rookie in (prob Constable on the hope he gets back into the team…otherwise is perma loop)
Leaves 6 trades with just Yeo and S Mitchell on field to be upgraded whenever suits
Obviously 2 premos in is great but I’d be wary of Satan. Everyone’s super gung ho on him but a supposedly minor hamstring injury balloned into a month, then there was the hospital/infection issue. Then they said he was back but he wasn’t. The indeterminacy concerns me.
I’d give Libba a look.
As for a DEF downgrade, double check first whether you can DPP anyone else as Fletcher (BRIS, MID) looks solid on the bubble.
If not, don’t go Constable if you’re hoping your DEF downgrade plays. He won’t play again.
I’d go Mullin (GEEL) or Montgomerie (ESS). Both are an injury away from playing.
Ok… 3 trades left and a full team, but that is including Yeo who is a bit of a risky prospect. Also have two dpp’s in my mids so keen to potentially get a Walsh or Mills to wrap it up.
Humphry also my 23rd but dropping cash fast.
TU > 2 trades this week to get Walsh and a rookie from Humph and M Johnson, moving Yeo to 23rd player. 1 trade left.
TD > Hold tight and make no trades. Hope that Humphry spikes a score and Mills get subbed again so I can maybe do a single trade swap (or just hold the trades)
If I go butters it allows me to use Robertson or johnson to cover any line using dpp if I go libba I will have to use maric or angwin (or mullin if he plays) to cover FWD and DEF using dpp. But I do have 5 trades left for injuries. Not sure which option is best.
To all the AFL Club Coachs out there, Im offering my Oracle services for the balance of the year as I have an undeniable gift. For $200k per interaction I will bring in one of your opponent players into my Supercoach side for which they are guaranteed to be doomed straight away for a 3 round slump, concussion miss or rough tackle holiday and corresponding negative score. For $500k per transaction I will bring into my side one of your own players, making several trades to do so, initially they will face their lowest score but for which I will trade them out the following week, thereby magically transforming them to absolute gold scoring machine ripping clearances, tackles, contested posessions for the balance of the season. System is guaranteed, 20 trades made so far this year as proof.
Think the boat has already sailed with Briggs, not worth the trade at this stage. Also Romo has WC this week and Witts was awful last week. Would be tempted to trade Witts before Romo if you are going to do it.
1 more premo needed, but cash/trades a little low.
Was considering Steele given his bargain basement price, but obviously that is a reflection of his current scoring.
Read the game chat and all info in this thread and not sure what the prob is….is he injured or just out of form?
Sorry – forget above, just found Chaos Theory’ update in the coaches box…enough said
St Kilda: Jack Steele. Ross Lyon confirmed that Steele was coping with a Grade 2 medial, which he a had a consultation last week about it. He is also managing an Achilles issue.
Final upgrade in midfield
I am 10k short of Petracca but can get him next week if Mitchell makes enough money
Tu Wait a week for Petracca
Td Grab another premo
Humphrey’s be is 120 so you could wait a week and see if he gets back to his mid fwd role or see the role himmelberg or Mills plays. Then sideways to one of them. Mills will prob be $400k next week.
Then imo go for the trade if you see the teams and Humphrey is in the forward pocket and Fiorini and Flanders in the middle.
Using a trade isnt ideal but you have good bench cover and lots of people are low on trade (sure some have none too). You have good bench cover so save those trades to cover any season ending injuries.
Wait right until the final teams and subs are named approx 30 mins before the GC game. As teams can change from whats officially named on thursday. Gws play after the suns
Was initially planning on keeping Sicily, but now that Oliver is also out for another week (or more?) and I need the league wins, I’m trading both, I can’t afford having both premos out if I want the wins.
Out: Oliver, Sicily, Van Rooyen
In: Petracca, Libba, Ryan
Leaves me with 7 trades and 37k itb, 1 upgrade left, easy route to down/up Wilmot and Mitchell next week into a premo.
7 trades left to get to a “completed” team (currently considering Sheezel as a keeper). Should I
TU – Use 2 trades to bring in Coniglio
TD – Use 1 trade to bring in Himmelberg
Don’t how sold you are on Cogs. You could have Wines, T Kelly at very similar money. Or S walsh is 10k up the road. FWIW I like Wines of the four of them..
Over Oliver now, who to bring in I like Butters could be Brownlow winner this year also like Libba. Both roughly same price dogs slightly easier draw. TU Butters. TD. Libba
This yeo news is absolutely devastating, as I brought him in last week, but probably should have seen it coming. Listed as 3-4 weeks, I currently have 4 trades left.
Need an opinion on whether 2 trades is enough to cover the remaining games after next week given i will have sheezel at D7, Mills at M9, Fyfe F7, and had Dcam at F6 who i can swing into the ruck (and then swing sheezel fwd) if things get messy.
TU: should be good
TD: hold trades (would mean not getting Mills next week and keeping johnson)
Have a current predicament and would love some assistance. Have 156k ITB and 7 trades. . I am thinking of going Humphrey to Walsh which leaves 36k but need to generate some more cash to then go Fyfe to Mills. Sharp to Fletcher? Leaves me with 5 trades. Love some thoughts.
Not long term I think. This week he should be ok again (in the guts) even with Hopper back because Prestia is out. However when everyone is available he probably gets pushed out of the primary on ball 4 of Taranto, Prestia, Hopper and Bolton.
Will have four trades left and one off full premo at the end of this. Solid bench cover on each line though. Weddle and Humphrey are going, either way. I have Fyfe and Thomas who will become a proper premo, injuries and cash permitting
TU: W, H and Oliver for D. Cameron, Rozee and Ryan
TD: W, H and Van Rooyen for D. Cameron, Dawson and a $102k m/f (and $100k ITB)
Currently at “full premo” with Blakey at D6, Steele at M8 and Sheezel at F6. Also have Fyfe as a floating F7/M9. With 4 trades left I’m thinking of doing Johnson to Himmelberg as a D7 so I can have a non rookie covering every line with D Cam in my forwards already.
TU: good trade for cover
TD: hold the trade for injuries
Brought in Yeo last week
Current team below before trades. 11 Trades left (Three boosts), $62.2k ITB
Def: Daicos, Stewart, Ridley, Lloyd, Yeo, Weddle (S.Mitchell, Constable)
Which option to trade in to be full premo (Sheezel is a “premo” in my team)?
TU : L Ryan (to join Stewart, Daicos, Sinclair, Ridley & Lloyd) and leave Dawson as a MID.
TD: Merrett/Libba (to join Laird, Bont, Neale, Brayshaw, Titch, Green, Taranto) and move Dawson to DEF
Or vote below for Petracca (but this only leaves me $600 in the bank which worries me)
TU : Petracca over all of the above, and if full premo with bench cover, $600 ITB is fine
TD : Better with one of the above and have some cash left for emergency trades
Who in the eyes of our many contributors would be considered the numero uno of midfielder.Personally I have always thought Clarrie but has Bontempelli taken over the mantle? Also is there another round of new dpp soon?
Hi Dragoons
I still rate Oliver the best. Supercoach-wise, he is in a difficult position with his ongoing injury concerns and doubt about his return date? Bont is ever consistant. Dont forget Dunkley.
Might make an interesting poll at seasons end.
Next DPP players due at completion of round 17.
Latest info but we know how quickly things can change.
Thank you for your excellent input and always await your replies…there are so many regular contributors that make this forum so enjoyable to read and seek advice..
TU: Humphrey, Atkins to Cogs and Melican
Leaves me with 4 trades with a full team
TD: Humphrey to Keays
5 trades left but no bench cover with Atkins out
Wilmot’s great score on my bench has made me change my mind on trading Sicily, also keeping in mind Brisbane play West Coast at the Gabba next week and backing Wilmot to score decently again to cover Sicily.
So latest trade idea:
Out – Oliver, Van Rooyen, Hayden Young
In – Libba, Luke Ryan, LDU
Allows me to keep Sicily (stacked backline once he’s back) and get rid of Young who wasn’t in my final team anyway. Only risks are trusting Wilmot again next week, but he’s been scoring well, and getting LDU first week back. High risk high reward.
Can I keep Clayton Oliver, because then this week it will allow me to get a full premium team (including Clayton) and if I trade Clayton Oliver, it will mean I won’t be able to get a full premium team until next week this week I can cover Oliver with chesser and if I trade Clayton Oliver and therefore don’t have a full premium team. Then I will be fielding Nathan Fyfe this week. Holding Clarry will save me an extra trade aswell. I’m playing for overall score btw
Tossing up between Walsh and Ryan. Walsh’s roll still uncertain, but Ryan is always an injury risk and was burnt early last year by 60s & 70s from him.
Tempted to rage trade Humphrey, even if just to feel better for a day or 2
How’s it a rage trade when he’s not a keeper lol.
What is angrily trading out a mid pricer or non keeper called?
Satisfying
I would keep humph if his role is better .Nearly a keeper
I disagree. This is the week to get rid of him. I was keeping him as M9/F7 but he’s unreliable sitting forward
If you can trade him up to a fallen premo (ie Mills) you’ d be crazy not to!
Or you can even make abit of profit and trade him “down” to Hawkins. With a string of games coming up at GMHBA on the run home it’s one move that I am strongly considering.
Last upgrade to finish team
Tu; Oliver if back (requires 2 trades)
Td; Libba (requires 1 trade) awesome run home
(5 trades remaining currently)
Definitely TD Libba.
Indeterminacy of Satan’s injury is problematic and the Dogs’ run is better than Melbourne’s. One less trade as well.
Who to KEEP at R2? (English R1)
Tu: Briggs
Td: Marshall
Held Briggs through the byes with intentions of keeping him at R2 for the remainder of the season.
Also cashing in Marshall gets me more value and allows me to grab a 600k + premo!
Same. Just because RoMo has more cash in him he can make way.
Did you see who Saints play this week?
Doesn’t matter just for one week mate, Briggs will make up the points in the long term if not this week..
Worth checking their games on the run home, Marshall has a few games he will likely smash…
TU: Houston + Serong
TD: Laird + Mills
Comment: Libba and Mills
Libba + Mills
Scratch all that. Hump’s dog day cost me those options.
TU: Macrae and Mills
TD: Libba and Mills.
Cant decide between Butters to complete the FWD or move Keays into FWD and get Libba. What do you all think?
TU: Libba
TD: Butters
im in the same boat. Leaning Libba. Better run home and for SC finals
Current team
Def: Stewart, Daicos, Dawson, Sinclair, Ryan, Lloyd (S Mitchell, Arnold)
Mid: Bont, Laird, Taranto, Brayshaw, Neale, Green, Cogs, Humphrey (Fyfe, Sharp, Rowston)
Ruc: English, Gawn (Madden)
Fwd: Dunkley, Gulden, Rozee, Sheezel, D Cam, Keays (Roberts, Drury)
$46.7k in bank but only two trades left.
Humphrey will need to go, but that leaves me only $441k so:
Tu: Mills
Td: Himmelberg
Comment anyone else (Saad and move dawson to mid)
Two trades-hold off
Sorry my bad, its 2 trades left after this change.
Saad over Mills (injury profile, subbed & rubbed) and HBerg (in a support not spare defensive role) easily.
Out: Mckenna and Van Rooyen
In: Dawson and Fletcher
Who for M9
T/U – Humphrey
T/D – Ashcroft
OUT: Humphries & Weddle out
IN: Fletcher & Libba
TU: Good trades
TD: Rethink
As long as you’re not relying on Fletcher on field, yeah.
Nope, he will be (hopefully) some bench insurance!
Why is everyone so keen on Flethcher?
Won’t go big, but Lions still have a wing spot not nailed down. Fletcher has looked better than most of the other options tried so far.

Marshall has WC this week, could go huge.

TU: J.Kelly

B. Humphrey + M. Johnson > S. Walsh + O. Mullin
Leaves me with $135,400 to luxury upgrade W. Day to J. Sicily when he’s back and 6 trades left.
TU: Good Trades
TD: Rethink
These trades would leave my team as:
DEF
N. Daicos, T. Stewart, J. Dawson, J. Sinclair, L. Ryan, W. Day (J. Fahey, O. Mullin)
MID
M. Bontempelli, C. Oliver, R. Laird, Z. Merrett, L. Neale, A. Brayshaw, T. Green, S. Walsh (M. Windhager, H. Sharp, C. Constable)
RUC
T. English, K. Briggs (N. Madden)
FWD
J. Dunkley, T. Taranto, J. Macrae, C. Rozee, E. Gulden, S. Coniglio (S. Sturt, I. Maric)
I’d be scared of having 0 ruck cover
If English or Briggs goes down, he’d have the cash to do a straight swap to just about anyone with one of his remaining 6 trades.
Darcy Cameron could be an option instead of Walsh to address that concern but I’m hoping 6 trades is plenty for injuries cause I have less
TU: Walsh
TD: Ridley
Sitting alright with trades (11) and nearly full premo, am I silly to consider sideways trading RoMo to Briggs to give me some cash?
TU: Sure
TD: Dumb
What if it was Gawn to Briggs? I thought about something similar
How the hell can you be almost full premo with 11 trades left? That’s a huge result.
Who’s the better option for my final mid spot?
TU: Butters
TD: Libba
Final upgrades (22 premiums with fyfe and sheldrick as cover).
TU: Walsh and Himmelberg
TD: Ryan/Ridley (this week) and Mills (next week)
Both options leave me with 5 trades.
Playing for leagues btw.
Steele looks to be struggling, low TOG. Almost managed 100 last round to stop the cash bleeding
Saints play West Cost this week, Steele could go huge.
TU: Keep Steele
TD: Or trade him to Laird, Will need 2 trades (7 left)
1 more trade to full premo and unsure which road to take. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

TU- Weddle > Mills (via DPP, Dawson goes to DEF)
TD- Briggs/Marshall > rookie
Weddle > best player available in MID or DEF
TU- Weddle to Houston (pushes yeo to D7) or mid 592k or under

One trade to make for full premo
TU: Mills
TD: Keays
Best midfield premium to get (any price) apart from Oliver, bont, Walsh, Dunkley, Taranto, rozee, gulden, Anderson, green, laird, Neale??
Libba Petracca Dawson Brayshaw Merret or Jelly.
I think I am choosing Libba this week as my final upgrade over Petracca & Oliver as I already have Dawson Brayshaw & Merrett.
Final two upgrades. Will have 5 left post upgrade
T/U – Libba & Ryan (Day to M8)

amazing thx – cant DPP, has to be DEF in (or I instead trade out Johnston or Fyfe from MIDs for Fletcher…which could be the play).

Harrison at F6 & Maric/Buller
Need 1 Mid premium
1 Fwd premium
Really stuffed, don’t know what to do
TU: Get a fallen Mid premium
TD: Get a fallen Fwd premium
Comment keep trades for injuries/suspensions
Wardlaw/Sheldrick better onfield scorers than Harrison/Maric so I’d be inclined to upgrade the forward line before the mids.
Oliver confirmed out has thrown my trades a bit. For those of us still with him, do we continue to hold him or just rage trade him…
If I were to trade, I’m probably doing Oliver, Humphrey and Johnson to Libba, Butters and Maric. Finishes my team.
What do we all think?
TU: Hold
TD: Trade
Clayton Oliver ruled out of R16 due to hamstring and no certainty to play in R17.

CLARRY!
I want a certified mid option of any price for VC/C. Already have Bont, Laird, Neale, Brayshaw, Greene, Walsh, Day.
Would bloody love clarry but reckon I’m gonna skip ship!
T/U: Libba
T/D: Trac
Last upgrade:
TU: Petrecca
TD: Libertore
Last upgrade (in MID):
TU: Butters
TD: Libba
If I go butters it allows me to use Robertson or johnson to cover any line using dpp if I go libba I will have to use maric or angwin (or mullin if he plays) to cover FWD and DEF using dpp. But I do have 5 trades left for injuries. Not sure which option is best.
3 ruck and Oliver.. one ruck has to go. Think I’ll keep Briggs
TU RoMo
TD Darcy
Thanks to Elliot Yeo for again proving how good I am at bringing in a player for 1 round….
Hi all.
TU Libba (M8)
TD Cameron(F6) & ruck cover.
Currently 4 trades left. Thinking Mills/Cameron over next 2 weeks.
Was one of the ones hoping oliver would only miss 3 weeks and held him but look here we are now with him listed as 1-2 weeks away
is he worth the trade now or is it way to late, holding has killed my rank and rn only really playing for leagues
Tu- Yes
Td – no
and comment options to downgrade to
RoMo Humpa > Briggs Walsh
Rucks become Witts Briggs (Madden), have DC as cover also
TU Good Trades
TD Bad Trades
Think the boat has already sailed with Briggs, not worth the trade at this stage. Also Romo has WC this week and Witts was awful last week. Would be tempted to trade Witts before Romo if you are going to do it.
Bring in Maric?
T/U: Yes
T/D: No
As long as you aren’t playing him on field and have other bench cover he offers maximum trade cash. Go for it I reckon.
Trade Oliver
T/U: yes
T/D: no
TU – Cogs and Walsh
TD – Rozee and Cripps
TU: Doch
TD: Stewart
Help please?
I was not trading this week as my team is full “premo” if you count Angus Brayshaw at D6 and Tom Hawkins at F6 as premiums.
I have decent bench cover but I was planning on using Bailey Humphrey as my mid/forward cover. His recent role change has got me very concerned.
I can straight swap him to Harry Himmelberg which would give me the following bench cover:
D: Mitchell Constable
M: Sheldrick, Wilmot, Sharp
R: Madden (Cameron in Fwds as cover)
F: Himmelberg Maric
The issue is that I have only got 3 trades left and this would leave me with 2 trades to navigate the final 9 rounds.
T/U Do it, Himmelberg is better cover
T/D Keep Humphrey and save the trade
How much cash you have?
Humphrey’s be is 120 so you could wait a week and see if he gets back to his mid fwd role or see the role himmelberg or Mills plays. Then sideways to one of them. Mills will prob be $400k next week.
I only have 6k ITB.
If Humphrey loses any more cash or Himmelberg goes up in value – both highly likely to happen, the opportunity is gone.
At the moment it is basically a straight swap.
Even if Mills drops to 400k next week, unless Humphrey hits his BE, I won’t be able to do that move with one trade.
Hi AJ,
Thanks for the responses and your thoughts mirror mine.
I will wait for teams to drop and if it looks like Humphrey is going to be stuck in a forward pocket again, I think I will trade in Himmelberg.
I can then keep the last 2 trades for long term injuries.
No worries.
Wait right until the final teams and subs are named approx 30 mins before the GC game. As teams can change from whats officially named on thursday. Gws play after the suns
Player position on teams can change
Best option under $530k this week?
TU – L Ryan
TD – LDU/Walsh/Keays
Will get the other next week or Serong/Parish/Anderson depending on $$
Watching LDU closely this week. Could be a nice POD. Also Touk in a few weeks.
My plan was to trade Humphrey this week and after last week I have no hesitation..
8 Trades/$234k in the bank
Question; do I use all my $ and upgrade to a premo upto $620k like Libba or Butters.
Or do I go the dicount option Mills and still be left with $200k in the bank.
Thoughts?
Considering the following trades which gets me to full premo and 3 remaining trades for the year (Briggs as R2):
OUT: S Mitchell, Cincotta & RoMo
IN: N Daicos, Keays & rookie
TU: Good call
TD: Don’t do it!
After carrying hime through the byes I can’t afford to this week. Oliver becomes Dawson.
Thoughts appreciated,
TU – Keep Clarry (bench for week or two again) trade in Keays (F6) 5 trades left, team complete.
TD – Trade Clarry to Libba, following week trade in Walsh (M8) 4 trades left, team complete.
Not sure who to bring in at M8. Going to put the options as thumbs and in comments, pls vote for the best option not against each other
Warner, Parker, Serong, Walsh
TU: Parker
TD: Warner
Serong and Walsh in comments
TU: Serong
TD: Walsh
Serong has 3/4 final games at home if that helps.
And one of those is Eagles
OUTs= Clarry, Romo & Humphrey
INs = Libba, Parish & Keays
TU=Yes
TD= No
Cheers!
TU= Parish
TD= Walsh
Cheers!
Big Thank you to all that have responded to my two posts.
It’s a big help & greatly appreciated !
Cheers All !
Backline: Dawson, Daicos, Stewart, Sinclair, Lloyd and Ryan.
Midfield: Bont, Clarry, Laird, Anderson, Walsh, Green, Neale, Chesser
Ruck: English, Marshall
Forward: Tarranto, Gulden, Rozee, Sheezel, Darcy Cameron and Dunkley
This weeks trades: Fyfe + Humphrey > Madden + (premium – any position but ruck?? Via dpp)
What premium should I get to finish my team (can be any price/position apart from ruck)
Libba.
Brayshaw for me in guts
If you want a cheaper option so you can upgrade Sheezel, look at Doch in defence and swing Dawson to midfield
Hi y’all
Decided to get rid of Oliver – too much uncertainty and it’s costing me.
TU: Butters
TD: Jelly
Thinking I could use the cash from savings for future, or I should I go Laird instead?
Laird, Butters, Jelly…
Like for like. Laird
Over Oliver now, who to bring in I like Butters could be Brownlow winner this year also like Libba. Both roughly same price dogs slightly easier draw. TU Butters. TD. Libba
Libba has a better draw and finals run.
Supercoach gods
Currently done:
RoMo > J. Williams
Wilmot > J. Sinclair
Do I:
TU: Ashcroft > Bont
TD: D. Williams to Premo (628k to spend)
There’s a bit of interest in Trading In Harry Himmelberg on here just now.
TU- Get him
TD- Look elsewhere
I am looking at Harry Himmelberg as my 23rd “premo”, he will be my main bench cover for injuries and suspensions.
TU: Keays M8, Mitchell D7/F7
TD: Walsh M8, McKenna D7
TU – Serong + Sinclair
TD – Libba + Ryan
Who to get for D6?
T/U: Ryan
T/D: Ridley
And who should my other upgrade be? Considering Neale, Merrett, Mills or Macrae in the forward line
Zerrett out of them.
13 trades but strapped for cash to get to full premo with Sheezel as F6.
Will Day still worth it ?
TU: Yes
TD: No
This yeo news is absolutely devastating, as I brought him in last week, but probably should have seen it coming. Listed as 3-4 weeks, I currently have 4 trades left.
TU: Trade
TD: Hold
TU: Sheezel
TD: Nasiah Wanganeen
Humpa Weddle Ashcroft > Walsh Nasiah Mullin
TU: Good Trades
TD: Bad (Ashcroft to NAS not worth it)
Need an opinion on whether 2 trades is enough to cover the remaining games after next week given i will have sheezel at D7, Mills at M9, Fyfe F7, and had Dcam at F6 who i can swing into the ruck (and then swing sheezel fwd) if things get messy.
TU: should be good
TD: hold trades (would mean not getting Mills next week and keeping johnson)
Was hoping to turn Yeo into Sicily in 2 weeks time but that is now not on the cards (was always the risk). Who should my final upgrade be for D6?
TU : Houston
TD : Docherty
Humphrey, Wardlaw, Marshall -> Petracca, Liberatore, 102K M/F donut
Finishes my team with $50K ITB, 5 trades left and Fyfe, Johnson, Cincotta as cover
(Steele, Day & Sheezel, Briggs, DCam my last spots in each line)
TU: Go for It
TD: There’s better value/Keep Marshall
TU: Libba
TD: Butters
Please let me know which you prefer.
TU: Petracca
TD: Any other premium with a lower average than him
Laird or Brayshaw won’t be much difference
Clarry for…
T/U – Dawson
T/D – Libba
TU: Trade Pedlar>Darcy Cameron
TD: Keep Pedlar this week v Roos
Better combo;
Tu: Libba + Keays
Td: Mills + Butters
T/U- Yeo to Salem
T/D- Hold & cop a donut
2 trades left!
TU: Petracca
TD: Libba
Is trac the best premium option to get apart from anyone with a higher average?
TU: yes
TD: No
Have a current predicament and would love some assistance. Have 156k ITB and 7 trades. . I am thinking of going Humphrey to Walsh which leaves 36k but need to generate some more cash to then go Fyfe to Mills. Sharp to Fletcher? Leaves me with 5 trades. Love some thoughts.
B: Stewart, Dawson, Sinclair, Ryan, Lloyd, Redman (Constable, Gilbee)
M: Bont, Laird, Merrett, Neale, Brayshaw, Gulden, Green, Humphrey (Sharp, Chesser, Wagner)
R: Romo, Gawn (Madden)
F: Dunkley, Taranto, Rozee, D.Cam, Sheezel, Fyfe (Harrison, Maric)
Hopefully it’s just precautionary – but Tom Mitchell has just left the training track early. More carnage
Ok so my idea to bring in Yeo worked for one round and now he’s cooked. Who should he become?
TU Will Day
TD Nasiah Wanganeen- Milera
All I can afford! Thanks team.
Hi all,
Is Marshall to Briggs Ok if the cash enables me to
swap Wardlaw to Mills ???
TU or TD Thanks Guys
Humphrey to
TD LDU
TU Cripps
5 trades left, 181.7k ITB
What to do with Yeo?
I have only 4 trades, no cash so trading him only gives me $445k
TU: Hold and use Melican to cover him
TD: Trade him to who? Or Use 2 trades to get someone worth it leaving me with 2 trades
Are there any single or multi DPPs you can use to activate a MID spot? Or looking at just a straight DEF spot?
Can bring in mid too but still like no options 🙁
So the Yeo experiment went as expected.
Who’s the best DEF to bring in under $483K?
Will be D6/D7 with Day
TU: Ziebell/Sheezal (I don’t have a FWD/DEF player to swing them FWD)
TD: Wanganeen (Can be used as MID cover)
Comment: Someone else
hey guys.
Sharp – rookie like (Fletcher). And Humphrey to Keays??
OR
Humphrey to Himmleberg
Thanks
Humph > Keays
Ratkins > 102k DPP rookie
303k ITB – next week: Fyfe > Mills, Steele > Laird.
Full premo.
MAY TO DAWSON ?????
Good trade or wasteful.
Depends how many trades you have
Plenty of trades so a no brainer to rid myself of May…thanks for all the input..now may is going the next is day when Sicily returns…or injuries.
TU – Laird
TD – Merrett
TU: Libba
TD: Zerett
TU: Libba ( 48k)- and may hurt last upgrade of Ashcroft
TD: Walsh ( $149k)
T/U – Libba & Walsh
T/D – Merrett & Mills
Oliver and Weddle to Brayshaw and Ryan, leaving me full premo with 4 trades left for injuries.
T/U – Good trades
T/D – Nope
TU: Bont and Himmelberg
TD: Walsh and Houston
Cheers !
TU: Serong
TD: Libba
Is Cotchin worth the punt at the 350k Mark for F6.
TU: YES
TD: NO
Comment someone else at that price
Not long term I think. This week he should be ok again (in the guts) even with Hopper back because Prestia is out. However when everyone is available he probably gets pushed out of the primary on ball 4 of Taranto, Prestia, Hopper and Bolton.
Trading out Yeo and Weddle:
TU: Ryan (cheap M8 later (Mills, Cripps, Walsh, Touk))
TD: Libba (cheap D6 later (Himmelberg, Nas, Day))
TU Himmelberg at F6, Hewett at M9 and Melican at D7/8
TD Keays at F6, Angwin at M9 and O’Donnell at D7/8
DPP should cover midfield bench.
T/U – Walsh
T/D – Wines
Will have four trades left and one off full premo at the end of this. Solid bench cover on each line though. Weddle and Humphrey are going, either way. I have Fyfe and Thomas who will become a proper premo, injuries and cash permitting
TU: W, H and Oliver for D. Cameron, Rozee and Ryan
TD: W, H and Van Rooyen for D. Cameron, Dawson and a $102k m/f (and $100k ITB)
T/U: Humphrey – McRae. Couple weeks time Sheezel – Touk (via dpp)
T/D: Humphrey – Trac and Sheezel – DCam now
Currently at “full premo” with Blakey at D6, Steele at M8 and Sheezel at F6. Also have Fyfe as a floating F7/M9. With 4 trades left I’m thinking of doing Johnson to Himmelberg as a D7 so I can have a non rookie covering every line with D Cam in my forwards already.
TU: good trade for cover
TD: hold the trade for injuries
If I may say so, a very generous description of “full premo “.
Definitely agree but that’s why the quotation marks are there
tu – Sam Walsh
td – Callum Mills
Who to field as this week’s D6?
TU- McKenna
TD- Weddle
T/u – Mills and Sincs
T/d – Wines and D Rioli.
Thanks!
Not sure I am as keen on others to bring in Jaspa given his shaky JS. Who to trade in;
TU: Elijah Hewett
TD: Jaspa Fletcher
Short of cash.
Who fits best for F6 for the rest of the season.
TU: Fyfe
TD: T.Thomas
T/U – Trade Oliver to Dawson (somewhat full premo w/ Day, Sheezel and Himmelberg + 2 trades
T/D – Hold Oliver and have to field Fletcher until Return but have 3 trades left
Keeping Briggs, who to trade out of gawn and witts? It will be funding libba and Jackson in a three way trade
T/U – gawn
T/D – witts
Any chance Gawn will get DPP?
Not looking good
Max Gawn
65.5% Ruck – 34.5% Fwd
Sam Walsh
62.5% Mid – 36.8% Fwd
Get Ryan as last defender spot at a nice price of 521k? Or wait for Sicily?
TU ryan
TD Sicily
My exact question. Will be getting Ryan now and Sicily later by swinging Dawson to midfield
Brought in Yeo last week
Current team below before trades. 11 Trades left (Three boosts), $62.2k ITB
Def: Daicos, Stewart, Ridley, Lloyd, Yeo, Weddle (S.Mitchell, Constable)
Mid: Bont, Oliver, Laird, ZMerrett, Macrae, Dawson, Green, Steele,(Wardlaw, Davey, McLean)
Rucks: Marshall, Gawn (Madden)
Fwd: Dunkley, Taranto, Rozee*, Cogs, D.Cameron, JVR (Maric, Harrison )
Think of going Yeo, Weddle and Humphry to Sinclair, Serong and Mullin
TU – Yes
TD – Look at other options (leave suggestions in the comments)
JJ – Your team doesn’t have Humphrey in it to trade him out.
Whoops I forgot to include him, McLean is meant to be Humphrey. Traded McLean out last week
Ford to…
T/U – Walsh
T/D – DCam
Is ruck cover important for you?
Will need to have one of these guys on field this week….
T/U – M.Johnson – WB @ Marvel
T/D – Wardlaw – Adel @ AO
So I got Yeo in last week.. As the saying goes.. You play with matches and you’ll get burned!
How to these 2 trades sound?
Out: Yeo + Humphrey
Ins: Walsh + Keays
You wanna trade out Yeo after getting him last week? He scored 93 and had 10 tackles for a team who lost by 170 pts. Are you all there bro?
Yeo was injured late in the last quarter. Expected to miss 3 – 4 weeks with a hip injury.
Oh shit my bad didn’t realise, apologies Jake !

Sam Walsh (Carlton)
62.5% Mid – 36.8% Fwd

Extra 100k in the bank for next trades. 154k left with Libba in instead of Walsh.
Going for league and opponent this week who is just behind me has Neale. So maybe Neale instead?
Thanks for any thoughts ?
TU: libba and sheldrick (sheldrick will be cover/23rd player)
TD: Keyes and nasiah wanganeen ( either of these will be 23rd player)
Who to field?
T/U- Fyfe
T/D- Sheldrick
Thoughts? Especially on the LDU pick?
Can I keep Clayton Oliver, because then this week it will allow me to get a full premium team (including Clayton) and if I trade Clayton Oliver, it will mean I won’t be able to get a full premium team until next week this week I can cover Oliver with chesser and if I trade Clayton Oliver and therefore don’t have a full premium team. Then I will be fielding Nathan Fyfe this week. Holding Clarry will save me an extra trade aswell. I’m playing for overall score btw
TU: Hold Clarry
TD: Trade Clarry
Humphrey is going out ->
I have a couple of trade in options but can’t decide..
TU: Ryan (swing Dawson into MID)
TD: Mills
Final mid position:
TU: Laird
TD: Butters
I know Laird probably scores more overall points, but Butters offers great MID/FWD flexibility.
Current MIDS: Bont, Merrett, Brayshaw, Anderson, Mitchell, Green, Neale
Comment any other options
Tossing up between Walsh and Ryan. Walsh’s roll still uncertain, but Ryan is always an injury risk and was burnt early last year by 60s & 70s from him.
TU: Luke Ryan
TD: Sam Walsh
