Will trade Mitchell for Sicily, but should I fund it with Ashcroft or Thomas (will bring in a DPP rookie)? Ashcroft will have a lower BE, Thomas provides more flexibility with Dunkley still potentially missing at least next week. Also not sure who scores more for the rest of the year, given Ashcroft doesn’t score as well away from the Gabba. Sheldrick likely to get a spot somewhere if Dunkley misses again.

No actual trade talk as I have no idea what I’ll do, just throwing it out there for those in a pickle, you’re not alone….
I have those three but only cover for one of Ridley or LLoyd.

Just from what I’ve heard/seen.
Dunkley – word is its became a strain and they’re going to be cautious, likely another week minimum
Ridley – nasty hyper extension, came back on then subbed, on the lower end
Lloyd – concussed, protocol, yadda yadda
Dunks becomes a problem if it gets indeterminate like Satan. Lions’ medical team/injury history been the competition best the last few years, so their time frame and word should be good.
I have cash in the bank, so if Ridley needs to be traded:

I like this team, the weekend has shown how important decent coverage will be heading into the business end.
Could you do this trade but make Constable your D8 and either Sheezel or Mitchell your F7, add even more flexibility and hopefully loophole options?

They put Cumming on a wing and the FWD line won’t change.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I think. He’s had bad games with a great role while Sheezel is just getting thrown all over the place which isn’t helpful. The poll definitely disagrees with us though

Why am I seeing a few people looking to move Briggs on? Is he injured because I can’t see the logic otherwise?
i think a few people still had him at R3 and waited to see if Gawn got DPP.

I’m 1 trade short on finalising a team (could not say it will be full premo with Day etc still in there but cash gen is limiting my options). Have 6 trades (1 boost) left. Have $91k ITB. In absence of cash gen I’m thinking of moving Grundy on for Briggs. This would mean I’m probs stuck with Cincotta or Mullin on the field down back for some time as cash surplus and generation has dried up.

Looking at possibly upgrading Sheezel as his BE is looking quite high this week, but unsure whether it’s worth it? Would potentially trade out Young for a bit of cash gen
With only $23k in the bank, any meaningful upgrade is going to take your last 2 trades.
Your bench cover isn’t great, so I actually think you are better off holding and saving those trades for injuries. Or doing this manouvre a in 2-3 weeks where the risk is lesser.
Undecided, have both Zeibell and Sheezel, was going to trade one of those 2 with Fyfe but unsure which one, only have 4 trades left and this will only leave me with 2. I also have Lloyd and Dunkley with weak cover ( Chessers and Robertson)
I’m wondering whether Zeibell’s omission was a scare and will be back at it or North are just playing the kids for the rest of the year. Second to this, I have an option of either going Petracca or Sicily.

$100 short of offloading Sheezel to Sicily unless I go for a $102k rookie? Or offload Mitchell instead to Harvey. What’s better?
Depending on bench depth, you don’t necessarily need to bring in a playing rookie so I’d definitely consider the $102k option
Maybe go Dewar from WCE who is $102k def fwd. Then you can swing S Mitchell as fwd or def cover or use as a loop if needed.
Dewar also i think if the most likely $102k def to get a game.

Yeah, there’s no advice we can give. It’s a matter of personal preference when you want to fire off those last 2 trades for a premo and how long you’re willing to ride trade-less.

Daicos averaged 20 more points post bye last year

Daicos went 100+ only 3 times in 12 games after byes, including 1 in the last 8
He only played 9 games after his bye… you need to remove the 3 finals he played from the dataset

The English trade is a safe trade. Gawn only 7% (teams in top 10%) to English who is 70%. Its been hard watching English’s scores every week and not being an owner.
The Sicily trade is the fun trade. Had him all year until his suspension. My favourite player in the AFL. plus it gives me a great M/Def swing set with Dawson to the guts.
If i go Sicily, i’ll have to trade one of Green, Titch or Steele. last week it was 100% Steele, but now i’m not so sure?

Now that Gawn missed DPP there is no good reason to keep him. He scores very well when in the ruck but with his time forward and on the bench he doesnt spend enough time there to get those big scores.
English is a beast and could score 160 this week against sydney

What’s the best trade in for a defender up to $527k or should I try and make some extra cash from my bench. I have 5 trades left.

The fact that you already have Dale, Bont, Libba & English in your personal supercoach team has no bearing on how Macrae scores. A lot of people had 4 and 5 Bulldogs in their forward line towards the end of last year when Treloar and Libba got DPP, and some had 6. (Libba, Bont, English, Bazlenka, Treloar, Dunkley)

Really tough decision between Mills and LDU. The others are not an option in my opinion.
LDU – why would any one bother tagging North players. Injuries been an issue.
Mills – Always the risk Horse uses Mills to plug holes away from midfield.
I’d go with LDU
Mills 100k cheaper. Take out the 4 and the return game and ave is around 100. LDU at 107. Similar ceilings, Mills floor is the thing that is FUH dependant (think FURL) it just depends if the 100k gets you to another player with more than the 7 point difference…
