  1. Trading Matthew Nicks who anyone with an IQ higher than 10
    TU: Do it
TD: Be sympathetic to the mentally challenged and keep him for another week

(Feel free to substitute Ross Lyon or Bevo in the same question)

  2. 3 trades, on track for another poor season after being a god all those years ago.

    Rowell, Sexton, DCam most problematic.

At a minimum trading Sexton (Hogan maybe).

    DCam ribs should be fine.

Rowell murdering me. Had him early so had those fat scores but just watching him mule to 80 each week is pain. Don’t even care his backend fixture is okay.

    Tricky.

  3. If SC had a skerik of passion, it would give us all four trades this week.

No point in even thinking trades at the moment.

    4

  4. Is touk miller a trade?
    TU – yes
    TD – no
Didn’t see the severity of his injury but saw he had a wrist/hand issue

  5. Charlie curnow has burnt me 2 weeks in a row

Gets the dogs and north in his next 2 on a dry deck at marvel. Hold?!

(Already have Heeney, Flanders, Zorko, Rankine & Caldwell).

    Tu: Hold

    Td: Get him out

    1. Rankine may be a bigger trade priority if he gets 3+ weeks.
Im leaning to holding and looping with mannagh and dowling. Nothing great you can move to at his price in 1 trade

      4

  6. Probably a bit early to think of trades considering –
    McGovern (WCE) injured
Gawn – subbed off with dodgey ankle
    Cameron- sore ribs
Heeney – MRO strife (not much in it I reckon)
Rankin – MRO strife (a bit more in this one)

All just to name a few.

I will probably replace McGovern with Fisher via DPP and then bring in Cripps via more DPP magic.

    3

    1
  7. Time to trade Bont, Daicos and Heeney , change of the guard you may say but who’s in the wind.

    4

    26
  8. 4 trades left, Touk probably has to go but how

    TU: 1 trade to Warner
TD: 2 trades and cut Reville so I can afford Merrett

    4

    23
  9. 3 trades (2 after downgrading freijah to a dead rookie)

    Fwd- Heeney, Flanders,Caldwell,Zorko,fisher ,F6 curnow

What do I do with curnow?
    Tu- Rankine (50k itb)
Td- hold trust the process (195k itb)

  10. Next week could be problematic – likely suspensions for Heeney & Rankine, Hoping Gawn’s injury only minor?

    5

    1
    1. yep, I’ve all 3 with 3 trades left. Wait and see what they get from MRO. Check Maxy injury update.
Might be all over for me

    2. Rankine – minimum 4, bye bye
Heeney,- word is it’s a coin flip and Swans will appeal any suspension
      Gawn – fine

  11. Playing for overall

Do I look at trading curnow for fisher if he is back this week? Will only leave me with 2 trades however..

Curnow has a nice run coming up however..

    Tu: Curnow > Fisher
    Td: Hold

    1

    34
  12. Who’s the better pick from here:
TU: Neale – First to cop the tag but such a high ceiling .
TD: Dunkley – Just seems to fly under the radar and surprised he’s not in many teams

    18

    17
  13. Ranked in the top 100, playing for overall!
Facing a couple of issues potentially this week
    Currently have 4 trades remaining.

Rankine looking at 3+ weeks out..

Tu: Rankine > Fisher (leaves me money for a 2nd)
Curnow > Jackson (Shrek out with concussion)

Td: Rankine > Fisher (Hold Curnow)

  14. Had a good week this week – top 1% despite still rolling McNeill as F6 (got lucky with 68 there). Priority was trading in Rankine this week, but looks likely to get multiple weeks so…

TU – keep rolling the dice with McNeil/Richards at F6 and get Rankine when back
TD – trade in Dylan Moore this week

    Cheers

  15. Would ideally like a bit in the bank when i inevitably have to trade out someone else. That said, Touk out for
    TU: Neale +$38.5k
    TD: Merrett + $84.4k

    7

    21
    1. Merrett it is then, thanks coaches! And with McGovern, Gawn & Heeney all out it looks like Short, Kreuger & Dowling all get a run in the side…

      2

    1. I’m confused with your Setterfield option. Not even getting a game at the moment. Playing VFL.

      0

      1
  16. $284K itb. Who goes?
    TU Rowell
    TD Sexton

Can only do one as Rankin will have be the other. Lucky to have Kruger to potentially cover Maxxy, Mannagh/Hutchinson cover Heeney

    5

    21
  17. I need to get rid of Dawson (thankfully don’t have Rankine). Playing for leagues and I am worried about Merrett or Neale given their runs home during SC finals. Am I overthinking it?
Midfield is Bont, LDU, Butters, Walsh, Serong, Green, Rozee, Dawson
TU: bring in Merrett or Neale
    TD: find someone else

    21

    0
  18. One more to get. Liking Carlton’s fixture but question is should I go a slightly less owned player.

TU Walsh (tag magnet and 40% owned)

TD Cripps (body held together with tape but only 7% owned)

    2

    27
  19. Trading out Touk, and feel this is a flip of the coin decision:

    Thumbs up – Merrett
    Thumbs down – Butters

    15

    15
  20. I just traded out fisher last week to caldwell but now Rankine has 4 weeks.

TU: Trade Fisher back in for Rankine
    TD: Bring in Moore/Simpkin/Someone else

Current Fwds are Flanders, Heeney, Zorko, Rankine, Caldwell, Jackson

    1

    9
  21. So Rankine out for 4 weeks
    Gawn out for 2-3
    Heeney suspended for 1 match
    Miller TBC
    Fisher questionable
Can only trade two. Damn this will be tough

    14

    0
    1. Good thing most have Gawn, Heeney. A lot got Rankine in over the last few weeks so it’s not as bad as we think. A lot will have to suck it up because they don’t have the trades to cover

      7

      0
  22. 9 trades, 1 boost and 100k itb.

Thinking of Miller, Reid and Reville -> Butters, Caldwell and Humphries. Leaving me witb 66k ITB and a couple forward upgrades to go.

    T/U: Sounds good

    T/D: Re-assess (Cheaper options/2 trades only)

    22

  23. Thinking of making a big move amid this week’s carnage…
Trade Gawn for Livingstone and swing Jackson into ruck via Kreuger.
Trade Rankine for Caldwell and move Heeney onto mid bench via Dowling.
Will mean I’m fielding Dowling, Reville & Krueger this week, but over 600k in the bank for two upgrades next week when Heeney returns. 3 trades left.
    Thoughts?

    8

    4
    1. Lol. In the same boat as me, Buzzo.

Gawn was fine then became 2-3.

On our man DCam, I gave it a goog and found this:

“Collingwood ruckman Darcy Cameron will be assessed during the week after he was taken to hospital following his team’s defeat to Essendon on Friday night.

The 28-year-old premiership player was checked over for potential cracked ribs and any internal damage but was cleared of serious problems the following day.

Cameron had already been monitored during the week following a heavy hit at training.”

Think we keep our fingers crossed and hope be gets up v Catters?

At this stage Gawn out longer with a confirmed 2-3.

  24. Looks like Rankine comes out. Who to trade in:

    TU – Dylan Moore
    TD – Zac Fisher

Comment Comben, 3 consecutive scores over 100

  25. Trading out Clohesy and Gawn. Ideally to Mckercher and Nank but sadly $800 short.
    Alternatively
    TU Mckercher and Grundy
    TD Rivers and Nank
    Your thoughts appreciated

  26. Tu: Gawn, Curnow to English Moore
1 trade left and only dowling as reliable cover in mids and fwds (rest are sub risks)

Td: Move Jackson to Ruck and W Dawson to Mannagh. Allows me to cover jackson in ruck with one of Dowling or Mannagh and Save a trade

    2

    19
      1. It may be worth waiting an extra week for more info. Ill have the cash in bank to still do the move next week to English if i need to.

Want to consider this move is more about getting moore in

        1

        0
        1. Yeah, I was mainly saying that Curnow to Moore doesn’t seem worth using one of your final 3 trades

          1

          0
  27. Gawn to Neale with a lot of swapping around seems the way to go for me this week. Just loose the flexibility of some DPP. Neale will probably get tagged for the rest of the season.

    1

    0
    1. Maybe Dunkley to avoid the tag. Same price same B/E. Neale goes big Dunkley doesnt go under 90.

  29. TU: Touk and Rankine to Butters/Neale and Moore with 40K ITB (Gawn, Heeney bench)

        Thanks SCT community.

May as well give the team:
DEF: Houston, Martin, Sheezeel, Daicos, Holmes, DAmb. Evans & Reid

Mids: Gulden, Bont, Butters, Merret, Serong, Dawson, Green, Dawson, Rowell. Sinn, Mannagh, Dowling.

FWD: Heeney, Flanders, Moore, Jackson, McKay, Freijah. Krueger & Dawson.

        10 trades / $149k ITB.

Plan is to do 2 downgrades and up Freijah but fairly cash strapped and lack of DPP available.

        1. Looks like you need a forward and 520 is just a bit short for Caldwell who would be the pick. Could do Fisher if he’s back this week or pick your favourite key forward out of Curnow, Daniher, Waterman, Cameron and Hogan. I think the best play might be Simpkin or Matt Kennedy who are at least mids and seem to have hit a decent patch as of late

          3

          0
  32. I’ve got 2 trades left. Going to do Rankine to Caldwell which will leave me with 1 trade but also got Gawn and Heeney issue (going to cover Heeney with Dowling)
    T/U: Gawn to TDK/Nank
T/D: save trade and via DPP cover Gawn with Richards

    1. Tom Fullarton Likely to come into the side. Jacob van Rooyen has been supporting Gawn all year so likely to have extra time in the ruck.

Will Verrall and Kyah Farris-White are still Underdeveloped and unlikely get a AFL call up.

      3

  34. Lite on for trades, but if Touk is out for a while he will need to be replaced.
    TU Neale
    TD Butters

    7

    1. Or can move Daicos to the mids via DPP and bring in Ryan instead. TU if a better idea or TD if not

      4
  35. What are people doing with Gawn? I personally have 3 trades left after trading Rankine this week. Did plan on using 2 trades to get Curnow at F7 but that is looking more and more unlikely.

    TU: Trade and play aggressive

TD: Hold and field Jackson/Krueger for the time being

    0

    16
  36. I have Miller, Rankine and Gawn. 4+ weeks, 4 weeks, and 2-3 weeks.
Last week on the injury list, Cox was listed as a Round 19-21 return. Hope a better update can make my decision easier this week.

Only 4 trades left, but going for Overall (845 currently)

Option 1: Trade Gawn and Rankine this week and then have Dowling/Humphries cover Miller this week. Then trade Miller next week with 1 trade left and only 22 premiums.

Option 2: Trade Miller and Rankine, then have Kreuger cover Gawn hoping it will only be 2 weeks and Cox won’t return early. Leaves me with 2 trades

    TU: Option 1
    TD: Option 2

    1. Pies playing Friday night. Put “e@ on Krueger & if he scores ok, keep Max on the bench. If Cameron doesn’t play, Krueger may b Ed one out in the rich, which will help his scoring potential. If he scores poorly, trade Max!

      6

  37. Gawny injury smells of longer term to me. Chipped bone in the leg is not something you get over quickly. If Melbourne lose the next few games they will not rush him back. Not an easy next 3 games either.

In saying that my thoughts are
    Gawn to english
    Miller to Caldwell.

    Tu or td

  38. Playing for leagues. 5 trades remaining & $13K. Nervous about using remaining trades.
Need to replace Touk, will require 2 trades as I am just short of getting the cheapest desirable mid (Rozee) unless I compromise and get Rowell. Then I though if I am making two trades then should I trade injured Gawn to maximise premos on field of next 2-3 weeks.

Sinclair, Sheezel, Daicos, Houston, NWM, N Martin (Shoenmaker, Z Reid)
Bont, LDU, Butters, Merrett, T Green, Steele, TOUK (Dowling, Mannagh, Humphries)
    GAWN, Grundy, (Maley)
Flanders, Heeeney, Zorko, Caldwell, Jackson, Fisher (Fyfe, Hutchinson)

TU: Touk & Fyfe > Dunkley & mid rookie (via Mannagh dpp)
TD: Touk & Gawn > English and Rozee

    Thanks

  39. Sad day for West Coast today rumours are Simpson to go effective immediately. Don’t think there’s anyone else who could do the job, maybe their recruiting team could go with him.

  40. Who is best to have or bench cover and to play this week ?
    TU Dempsey
    TD Kennedy
    or Reid…..

    Thanks

  41. I’m in a little bit of a pickle with the injuries and suspensions like most people

DEF – Sheezel, Daicos, Ryan, Holmes, Ridley, Stewart (Aleer, Schoenmaker)
MID – Bont, LDU, Butters, Merrett, Welsh, Serong, Green, Miller (Freijah, Bytel, Brown)
    RUC – Grundy, Gawn (Livingstone)
FWD – Flanders, Heeney, Zorko, Fisher, Jackson, Dowling (Kreuger, Hutchinson)

6 trades left (No boosts left)/$33k ITB

Miller is a must go as he’s pretty much done for the year. I’m hesistant to put out Gawn, because I still want to have a full premo side by the end of the year and if he’s only out for 1-2 weeks, I don’t think it’s worth it. I have either Jackson or Kreuger I can switch with Livingstone and bench Gawn for one of them until comes back.
Obviously the other issue is Heeney being suspended (I still have Hutchinson to cover for him, he should be still in this week). But I’m mainly sweating on whether Fisher comes back this week. Because if he doesn’t, I’m going to be very lost on what I should do.

At this point I’m thinking of doing either:

1 – Miller and Aleer out for Blight and Rozee. That give’s me about $200k ITB
And then I’ll wait until Dowling and Schoenmaker peaks, then downgrade Schoenmaker and upgrade Dowling to my final premo (Maybe Caldwell)

2 – Miller and Aleer out for Blight and Caldwell. Gives me about $150k ITB, but I get Caldwell while his BE and price are still relatively cheaper. Then when I eventually upgrade to the final premo, I’ll switch Caldwell into the forward line and get a good mid premo, which I may have to do a extra downgrade trade to achieve that depending on how much money Dowling makes for me.

Are any of these options okay, or is there anything else you guys would suggest?

    2

    0
  42. Will have 1 trade left after this and McGovern only likely to miss one week. Need to make a DEF change to field 6 defenders though.

    TU: McGovern to Sinclair
TD: Zac Reid to Humphries (who can provide DEF/MID coverage going forwards)

    1

    7
    1. Maybe wait to see if any further news comes out of the WCE this week on McGovern

I just can’t see how a broken rib & small puncture in the lung equals just one week out ?

But with only two trades left, I would definitely hold everyone this week if you have any cover on your bench

      1

      0
      1. Apparently driving across the Nullarbor because Simpson got sacked, so don’t see him playing this week.

Good on him for supporting his coach, go the Mighty Blues

  43. Hi everyone – Note: playing for league and guaranteed top 4 – Full premo with 7 trades(1 boost) and 95k left

    Team
Def: Sheezell, Daicos, Whitfield, Dale, NWM, Martin ( Reid, Humphries)
Mid: Bont, Butters, Green, Serong, Gulden, Rozee, Dawson, Miller (Clohessy, Freijah, Dowling)
    Ruck: Gawn, Grundy (Livingston)
Fwd: Flanders, Heeney, Zorko, Moore, Jackson, Caldwell ( Fisher, Dawson)

Don’t want to use last boost so looking at 2 trades only!! Thinking

T/U McKercher and Dunkley for Miller and Dawson ( hold Gawn) or
T/D English and Merrett for Gawn and Miller (hold Dawson?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance

    1. Chris M
      A nice looking side
Why trade at all if so only Miller?
      You’re guaranteed top 4
You’ve got coverage for Gawn in Jackson then move Heeney (mids) and play either Frejiah or Dowling to cover Heeney in the forward line
Just hope Fisher is back ???
You’re in a strong position with six trades and more $$$$ if you do Miller to McKercher

      Good luck

      1. Fair call – was just looking at Dawson to a Dunkley/Merrett now before price gap gets too big(one trade now where down track may take 2 trades) – Think Dawson will keep getting tagged and scores will be low from here on including finals – I could be wrong of course!!
        Thanks thebopper for the feedback!!

  44. Comben is my last rookie on field. Was always planning to upgrade him this week, but contemplating whether to hold for a bit longer

TU: Hold Comben for now. He has been scoring well and there could be more carnage
TD: Upgrade to Caldwell this week

    18

  45. Playing for league

Going to keep one of these guys and trade one. Hoping to keep who will be back playing first

    Should I trade out:

    TU: Miller

    Or

    TD: Rankine

  46. Hey guys, currently ranked in the top 50 overall.
3 trades remaining with a full side..

Considering Gawn > TDK to really push for overall rank, already nearly 25% of the top 1% have traded out Gawn so if I hold I may lose ground somewhat..

Tu: Be aggressive and go for it, Gawn > TDK

    Td: Use Krueger as cover
(I will already be fielding Dowling in Heeneys absence so this will mean 2 rookies on field)

    Thoughts much appreciated cheers!!

    25

    4
  47. 2 options this week. Not really playing for overall coz I’m struggling to crack the top 10K so just leagues really.

Option 1 is not trade this week and I have 2 rookies in forward line to cover heeney and moving Jackson to ruck. Means keeping Joe Richard’s who may lose money but have a full 22 playing.

Option 2 is trade Richard’s and Garcia for a 102K DPP non player and a Walsh or Cripps which means I have only 21 playing this week.

    TU Option 1
    TD Option 2

    8

  48. $100K ITB. 6 trades left. Have Touk, Heeney & Gawn, will cop a donut this week unless I trade two. Playing for league, sitting 7th.

    T/U – Gawn & Touk for Tingles & Butters
T/D – Touk – Rozee/Cripps (cop the donut, hope Gawn comes back in 1-2)

    Cheers

  49. 7 trades left. 7k in the bank. Mid is the problem with jhf, Rowell and Oliver still in my team. Leaning towards using 2 trades to trade oliver to rozee? Or any other suggestions

  50. Touk > Simpkin

Only have $482K to work with. I can DPP my way around to other positions but think Jy’s the best at this stage.

  51. Gawn and Miller for:
    TU – Neale and Briggs
TD – Merrett and Caldwell with Jackson to the ruck

    2

    18
  52. Another option: go down to 1 trade by doing:

    Pink > Humphries (DEF cover)
    Touk > Serong

Dowling operates as both MID and FWD cover.

    7

    5
  53. Currently have 6 trades left and feel like I have the luxury of trading Gawn & Miller.

    OPTION 1 TU: Gawn & Miller -> Xerri & Rozee (10K ITB) – 23 Premos

OPTION 2 TD: Gawn & Miller -> Xerri & Mannagh (326k ITB) – 22 Premos + Plenty of cash to upgrade numerous players later on.

    Cheers legends!

  54. In terms of scoring, which duo would be better for the rest of the season:

    TU – Xerri + Moore
    TD – Meek + Caldwell

    10

    1. And is it worth going with the first option if its a lot more risky in terms of affordability? Option 2 is a guarantee I can afford it.

  55. 6 trades left with $248k itb. Mckercher can cover for Miller, Dowling for Heeney and Krueger for Gawn. Wanting to do my last upgrade in the fwd line.

Trading out Rankine and J. Richards.

TU: Caldwell and Jackson, $56k left
TD: Caldwell and Moore, $400 left

    7

    8
  56. 3 trades left and 11k ITB

    Touk Touk has to go.

TU – Dawson – high ceiling but has been average the last few weeks
TD – Nic Martin – like the DPP

    Comment – anyone else?

    3

    2
    1. I am highly unlikely to trade this week unless both Heeney and Fisher are out.
I still think Heeney will cop a fine rather than a suspension.
However, if I was I would be closely looking at SDK.
You would need to swing some DPP magic but as he has been playing ruck he has been scoring pretty well.

      2

      1
  57. Best ruck to trade in for Gawn?
    Already have English.

I am liking the look of either TDK/ Nankervis as they have they seem to have the best runs home out of all viable options.

Is pitonett any danger of coming back into the side at all this season blues fans?
Surely that experiment is up and Carlton are at their best with TDK as the sole ruck?!

  58. Full Premo with 6 trades left – but having an absolute trash season and need a perfect run home to make finals, so thinking of rolling the dice and can’t afford cash on the bench

In: English, Cheap DPP Rook, Neale
    Out: Touk, Gawn, Day

Leaves 3 trades left – can hold Heeney for a week – no other injured players

    TU: GO FOR IT
    TD: NOPE

    1. Day has a high ceiling with a floor of a low ton lately. Seems like a good player to hold and is a nice pod when he goes off

  59. Does anyone know who comes in for windhager for next few weeks? Is there any chance it could be Hugo Garcia? Would love another warm body on field

  60. Currently have 6 trades left. Am playing for both league and overall, would be nice to get top 1000.

    Should I trade Max Gawn?
    I do have Jackson
But means I have to field Kreuger or Freijah at F6

TU – Trade him, can get a leg up on comp

TD – Hold, could be valuable later on

    10

    3
  61. 7 trades left and 100k itb

T/U Touk and Dawson to McKercher and Dunkley (cover Gawn with Jackson but playing rookie in forwards) or
T/D Touk and Gawn to Merrett and English

    1

    12
  62. If trade Gawn to English should Touk go for

    T/U Merrett
T/D McKercher (before another price increase/dpp could be handy and extra 50k- but would take another 2 trades to get Merrett/Dunkley for Dawson? later)

    13

    4
  63. T/U Merrett (possible tags but proven premium)
T/D McKercher (dpp and nice match ups to come)

  64. Replacement for Gawn
Can’t afford Nank os looking at
    TU Xerri
    TD Grundy.
Similar price similar average. Who goes better from this week on?

  65. Ranked 6000’ish but playing for leagues now. 5 trades left, $88K in bank. Traded Jackson out 2 weeks ago but thinking about bringing him back. team as follows and still needs one upgrade:

B – Naicos, Ryan, Houson, Yeo, Whitfield, Crisp (Schoenmaker, Hore)
M – Bont, Walsh, Serong, Butters, Dunkley, Gulden, Merrett, Green (Graham, Dowling, Mannagh)
    R – Gawn, Grundy (Livingstone)
F – Flanders, Moore, Zorko, Heeney, Curnow, Freijah (Richards, W Dawson)

T/U – Gawn to English. No ruck cover but cash to get my final upgrade via a couple of fat cows next week leaving me with 2 trades for injuries and bench cover on all lines except ruck.

T/D – Freijah and Richards to Jackson and Humphries means my team is rounded out but I am carrying Gawn’s on the bench and am forced to play Mannagh/Dowling at F6 until he is back. Leaves me 3 trades and $50K.

    Comment – other.

  66. TU: McGovern + $590k mid (e.g., Treloar, Walsh, LDU, Gulden, Anderson)
    TD: Sinclair + McKercher

I’m not overly confident McGovern plays next week, hence why I’m considering trading him to Sinclair this week.

  67. With Fisher out this week despite being healthy, I’m wondering if it’s worth trading him over Gawn

    TU: Fisher to Caldwell
    TD: Gawn to English

  68. Holding Gawn

But need to get rid of fisher and touk

    T/U – cadwell and mckercher
    T/D – Neale and phillipou

Note : phillipou would be my 23rd when gawn comes back

2 trades left after this week

    6

    5
  69. 5 Trades Left and I need to know whether its worth it or not.

TU: Gawn and Rankine to Nank and Moore, puts me to 3 trades
TD: Hold Gawn and trade Rankine to Moore, puts me to 4 trades.

Comment: Instead of Moore is there anyone better to bring in like Simpkin?

  70. Fisher still out has completely screwed plans up, so I now can’t bring either Humphries or Blight

TU: Miller and Fisher > McKercher and Caldwell, covering Gawn with either Jackson or Kreuger, swapping Livingstone into the forward bench. (If I brought in Rozee instead of McKercher, I couldn’t afford Caldwell sadly. Best I could so was Comber)

TD: Miller and Gawn > Rozee and English (Kreuger and Hutchinson to cover Heeney and Fisher this week)

I don’t really want to get rid of Gawn either, but these are the best options so far

    1. At the discretion of his coach.

Fisher appears over his injury but North stated they didn’t want to make too many changes to a winning team.

Hopefully he returns next week but not being selected this week is troubling.

  71. 3 Trades remaining. After fisher to Caldwell
    looking at shifting off Dawson.
    T/U: McKercher
    T/D: Hayden Young

  72. Don’t necessarily need to win this week in my league, I have 3 trades left.

Rest of season who am I better off keeping?

    TU: Fisher
    TD: Rowell

    Cheers!

    1

    10
    1. I voted down – as at least you know that Rowell is in Gold Coasts best 22 each week

After not getting picked this week, and having been starting sub once before this year, I not sure where Fisher’s job security is at North Melbourne ?

Understand that Clarko wanted to reward the players than won for him last week, but I still expected Fisher to come in for someone

Will Phillips must aslso be considered ulucky to be dropped – after doing some outstanding tagging roles in recent weeks

Are North finally getting some solid depth

  73. Have 7 trades left(1 boost) and $97 200 itb

    Team
Def: Sheezell, Daicos, Whitfield, Dale, NWM, Martin ( Reid, Humphries)
Mid: Bont, Butters, Green, Serong, Gulden, Rozee, Dawson, Miller (Clohessy, Freijah, Dowling)
    Ruck: Gawn, Grundy (Livingston)
Fwd: Flanders, Heeney, Zorko, Moore, Jackson, Caldwell ( Fisher, Dawson)

Doing Gawn to English at moment!!

Thinking that Fisher (when returns would be a good loop with other forwards like Jackson/Moore etc – with this in mind …

T/U Gawn and Touk out English and Merrett in ( hold Fisher future forward loop and save trade/boost) or
T/D Gawn + Touk + Fisher out English + Dunkley + McKercher in (use extra trade/boost, lose fwd loop for midfield loop)?

    Any extra advice? Thanks

  74. J McGovern on bench lung rib 3+weeks?

    Gawn on bench 3+ weeks?

    Evans and Kreuger on field

TU, trade H Clark to Humphries and Amartey to Caldwell, no trades left.

    TD, save last two trades

  75. Initial plan was to trade Sexton to McKercher. Since the teams dropped, would Fisher be a better option to trade out. Will leave 4 trades to go.

TU – Trade out Sexton and have $79K in the bank
TD – Trade out Fisher and have $166K in the bank

    2

    8
    1. Probably worth waiting to see final teams. Sexton on the extended bench means he still might get dropped in which case, I would be trading him

  76. Trades last week were (Steele, Sexton, Z.Reid > Rozee, Rankine, Humphries)
DEF: Sheezel, Daicos, Ryan, Houston, NWM, Fisher (Humphries, L.Evans)
MID: Bont, LDU, Gulden, Butters, Walsh, Serong, Green, Rozee (Dowling, Mannagh, K.Brown)
    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Kreuger)
FWDS: Flanders, Heeney, Zorko, Rankine, Moore, Freijah (W.Dawson, Livingstone)
$46,900 ITB, 5 trades left, 1 boost left.

Do I just trade Rankine to Caldwell and use Dowling and Mannagh as cover for Freijah since I can’t upgrade him to anyone significant ($368,400 or below) and use the other as cover for Heeney. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

    1. Yep I like that!
Swap Heeney and Freijah for Dowling and mannagh (he does play Friday night though)
Big chance Freijah sub again, if not you could swap him back for Dowling

  77. Not sure who should be the priorities to out this week, any help would be appreciated!

DEF: Sheezel, Daicos, Ryan, McGovern, Houston, Martin (Dawson, Reid)

MID: Bontempelli, LDU, Butters, Merrett, Serong, Green, Rozee, Rowell (Dowling, Humphries, H.Garcia)

    RUCK: Grundy, Gawn (Livingstone)

FWD: Flanders, Heeney, Zorko, Moore, Jackson, Fisher (Richards, Hutchinson)

3 trades left, 33k in bank

Opponent this week is last in league so could probably cop a donut

    Cheers!

    1. Having the luxury of playing bottom I would cop the donut and still get the W
Gives you another week to reassess
Also I am in similar position thinking of doing Fisher for McKercher though

      1

      0
      1. So no trades?? Thinking Fisher to McKercher also, but leaves me a premo short in forwardline for now

        2

        0
        1. Yeah one short
Shame you don’t have humphries in defence to play
3 trades left I would be cautious

          1

          0
          1. Yeah head tells me to do that too.. McGovern and Fisher could be back in next week, and Gawn the week after

            1

            0
            1. Given the low trades, and playing last in your league – sitting tight may be the best way forward and give you time to reassess next week.

  78. Not sure who should be the priorities to out this week with the likes of Gawn, Miller and Fisher! Any help would be appreciated! I am playing for leagues, and am sitting 2nd at the moment down to 5th, but am playing 15th so can potentially sit tight this week and get through without doing much.

D: Sheezel, Daicos, Ryan, Houston, Sexton, Schoenmaker (Evans, Reid)
M: Bont, Dunkley, Butters, Merrett, Walsh, Serong, Green, Miller (Clark, HGarcia, Dowling)
    R: Grundy, Gawn (Livingstone)
F: Falnders, Heeney, Zorko, Moore, Fisher, Jackson (Freijah, Dawson)
    ITB: 215k
    Trades: 7

I was originally thinking of having Jackson cover Gawn and putting Freijah on field, have Dowling cover Heeney, and potentially trading Miller to a mid. With Fisher out now too, also considering Fisher to Caldwell. I was also wanting to get one of Humphries or Blight in (missed Mannagh last week).

Is using my last boost to go:
    Out: Miller, Fisher and Clark
In: Neale (any mid), Caldwell and Humphries

TU: Use the trades and last boost
TD: Sit tight for the week and reassess next week

    1. Like the moves!
Could do Clark for humphries straight up
Freijah we will find out if sub then decide next step
I got Sexton too but I am worried he could be sub or dropped (Evans could out score him)

      1

      0
      1. The alternative is that I leave Fisher because he won’t drop in value and could be back, and do Sexton to Whitfield

        3

  79. Would love some thoughts please:

Would you trade out Draper (seems to be best 22 and great cover on DEF) if it means being able to swap W Dawson into DEF and off the FWD line (no cover as also have Livingstone as a DPP cover to rucks). DEF line also has Schoenmaker – so how safe is it that he remains in for the year?
This allows me to bring in Caldwell with the other trade Clark out to Humphries?

My other option is to leave Draper and Dawson as they are and trade either Freijah or Reville … and I still have Sexton on the FWD line

Just unsure if it is a play to lose Draper due to his good coverage as a backup. It does allow moving Dawson though who has stunk up my bench forever.

    Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

  80. HELP HELP HELP

I have 4 trades remaining, with 1 boost left!

I need to trade out Miller and Rankine, but also have Gawn sitting in my ruck. Should I move Gawn on also and take myself down to 1 trade left?

TU: Yes, you need those points

TD: No, save a trade and wait for Gawn to come back

I plan on bringing in Moore or Dunks/Neale the following week for full premium.
