    • 8 trades!! Nice
I have zero so have Fitzgerald covering Butters and Lake for JHF if he misses a week. Suffice to say I ain’t competitive so anyone who plays me guaranteed a win!

  1. Need to maximise chances of winning next 2 weeks to make finals.

TU – Dawson (could be tagged by Jordon and Allan?)

TD – Neale or Ashcroft (play West Coast and Port)

  2. Team is a complete mess so what the hell

    Butters to Rankine

Leaves two trades and about 250K to upgrade McKenna next week to “complete” my team. Yes, I am using that term very loosely. Amazing season

  3. Leaning towards Grundy in for Butters via flex.

Crows have a nice run home so Dawson would almost be the preference however that cash saved I have a feeling will be handy.

  4. 3 trades left. Butters to either;

    T/U – Heeney
    T/D – Dawson
Comment – Bailey Smith or others (can’t afford NWM and already have 3 premo rucks via flex))

    Cheers

  5. Narrowed it down to below for butters replacement. Leaves 1 trade left

    Tu: Baz
    Td: Jackson (in flex)

Jackson helps cover if gawn ir grundy misses but baz’s fixture is amazing

  6. What’s going on with Grundy’s scoring? Has only scored above 120 in 1 of his last 8 games.

TU – still an elite option, get him in

TD – scoring just isn’t there, could be fatigue and might be rested

    • Just a terrible game, if you have heaps of trades perhaps but whilst he is breathing and capable of scoring hold. Maybe loop where possible

  8. With Butters out and JHF suspended, it leaves me to:
T/U – Butters for Bailey Smith (or any mid) and field 22 Premos
    T/D – Butters for Fwd/Mid option like Rankine/ Hill and field 23 (22 premos and a Herbert/Fitz as the 23rd)

  9. Herbert to Clayton oliver to almost complete midfield
    Or
annand to milera to complete backline
    Or
Wait till Herbert and annand peaks, gain cash

  10. Need to trade butters out, and JHF accepted 1 match ban which means I will likely have no FWD bench cover as Podhjaski and Banfield aren’t getting a game.

TU – Butters > Smith & run 1 short in FWD line
TD – Butters > Rankine for coverage

  11. Trade out Bruhn and Butters for Will Ashcroft and:

TU: bring in Marshall as cover for JHF this week then sit in flex to cover Gawn/Jackson

    OR

TD: Bring in a DPP fwd premo like Hill, K pickett and hope the rucks don’t get injured or rested?

  12. So here’s the situation: 1 bullet left, but have to use it to trade stupid Butters. Can’t hold the trade, because my team sucks that much, but still want to go down in a blaze of glory. So here’s the options:
    T/U Dawson
    T/D Bont

  13. JHF accepting his 1 week, leaves me with a hole in my forward line. (Unless Podhajski or Banfield get a game).

Also need to trade out Butters. It was going to be an easy Butter to Smith. so thinking i will trade in a DPP this week to swing to the forward line to cover JHF, then next week get Smith (i need about another $40k from one of my rookies)

    TU: Durham

    TD: Bolton

I’m also considering Brad Hill or Warner, but that extra money will make my last upgrade next week a bit tight

  14. With Butters and Dale both out for a month makes trading a challenge, people might be running on empty for trades very soon.

    T/U NWM and Smith in
    T/D NWN and Neale in

  15. 8 trades left. One rookie on field (Hall-Kahan). Need to trade Butters so
T/U Butters> Rankine, Derksen> Archie Roberts (or Sicily)
T/D Butters> Bailey Smith and run with Hall Kahan until the cows fattens up to finish the defs

    • if you take their price into consideration, it has to be rankine.

as a rankine owner, i do worry about the tag/attention he might get over the next few week

  16. Which combination?

T/u – Tom Stewart and 515k for a mid (Brad Hill, Ed Richards, Gulden)

T/d – Izak Rankine and 530k for a defender (Cal Wilkie, Archie Roberts, Sicily)

    • I’m looking for one last defender to be my 23rd premium, leave it a couple of weeks until a couple of rookies have increased in price a bit more. But Sicily and Stewart are both on the top of my list due to their fantastic match ups over the last 4-5 weeks.

it will probably be detirmined by the cash i have

If you have to go THIS week, i’d say Rankine & Wilkie

  17. Just need help with the forward line decision.

Got my 6 premiums, but JHF is out for the week.

I have Latrelle Pickett on the pine, who I could start at F6 this week.

Alternately I can trade L.Pickett for a forward worth up to $260k. Really only gets me to Melksham v Nth.

TU – Hold Latrelle and hope he touches it
TD – Trade Melksham and hope he touches it more

3 trades left at this stage. Bench coverage on all other lines.

      • I think Jackson’s in the running for AA against Gawn and Grundy and they won’t want to leave any doubt in voters minds. He’s not really old enough to need a rest either and the two backups are very different players

  18. Using Butters injury to also finally fill D6 but limited funds

Thinking Butters/Cumming to Neale/Stewart then with 3 trades left after

    TU – good trades
    TD – think again

  20. 3 trades left, have butters which I’ll trade 2 left after that. Do I hold the other two trades with the likely Holmes injury? HHK at D6 and a doughnut at F6

    TU Hold
    TD Trade
