  1. Traded Dylan Moore in last week but he was very disappointing… Use one of my 3 trades to swap him for Marshall? (also got the week off in my league this week)

    TU: Yeah
    TD: Nah

    1. Almost wished one of these 2 would get injured so I can totally justify using final trade on getting rid of them!

      11

      1
  2. Trading someone to Dawson/Stewart

    3 trades left

T/U Daicos to Dawson (one trade)

T/D use a second trade and trade Short to Dawson/Stewart

  3. Really want Rowan Marshall in and at the moment have Blicavs in my ruck.
The last 2 weeks Crisp and Blicavs have been killing me.
    Who should I trade out?
    T/U Crisp
    T/D Blicavs

        1. Currently playing him in def or mid? If he played defensively last week and you trade him to Brayshaw, who is leaving your midfield to squeeze him in?

          0

          2
    1. Wait for teams, if Marshall the saints sole ruckman again, Id do it (I already have him tho)

      3

      1
  4. 4 trades left, 70K ITB and have the week off (not playing for overall)

Should I trade D’Ambrossio to a 102K def/mid this week to have a warchest for next week, or save the trades in case there’s covid/injury carnage?

    T/U Trade
    T/D Hold

  5. 2 trades left, sitting top 300. Luxury trade.

    Trade O’Brien to Gawn:

    TU: better scoring potential

TD: O’Brien has softer draw and will come good

    Cheers

    1. No word yet, Waldorf. Was listed as soreness before the game.

Given the Giants are bottom 4 and their season is over, they won’t rush him back if it ends up being anything more than match day soreness.

      CT to update.

  6. 2 trades left and still have 2 places for full premo, taking a place on the field is a mix between Mccartin, Martin and Jackson , 375k in the bank, I’m thinking Jackson for Marshall and loop the better scores of Martin and Mccartin with Wehr and Cumberland. Probably means I can have a super premo for the last trade with Cumberland’s growth in 2 weeks time. Or Trade Wehr
    Thoughts?
    TU Yes do it
TD No save the trades for injuries

  7. Well at this stage I think I am burning my last trade for the year.
No chance of winning anything significant apart from my leagues, but might as well go for broke and see how far I can advance my 6800 ranking.
Will trade Wehr to Dawson, which will shift Crisp from D6 to M9 but still providing cover for Sinclair, Dawson & Short in the backline via DPP.
Final team for the year (Unless there is an out on team selection this week that I have to cover instead – Cogs?)
Not much flexibility or cover for injuries but – it is what it is.

DEF: Sinclair, Stewart, Sicily, Dawson, Docherty, Short
    (Bazzo, R.Thompson)
MID: Laird, Miller, Oliver, Neale, Petracca, Walsh, Macrae, Cripps
    (Crisp, Owens, Hamilton)
    RUC: Witts, Marshall
    (Teakle)
FOR: Bontempelli, Coniglio, Parker, Brodie, English, Dunkley
    (Carmichael, J.Clarke)

      1. Wehr was D7.
Traded Wehr out, shifted Brazzo from F7 to D7, shifted Carmichael from M9 to F7, shifted Crisp from D6 to M9, and traded Dawson to D6. When you press the Complete trade button it rearranges them by price.

        3

        0
        1. If you straight swapped Wehr for Crisp at D7, left Carmichael/Owens M9, Bazzo/Clarke F7 that probably leaves you worse off from coverage point of view, but might let you loophole crisp/short, I’d think you’re less likely to loophole crisp with your mids.

          0

          0
          1. I consider the coverage gained more important than looping at this stage. Crisp can cover 8 mids and 3 backs, and I think Carmichael is more reliable coverage than Bazzo in the forward line.

            2

            0
  8. Scary part about Short & Crisp is that they are both still in the top 9 defenders for the year.
Probably lucky part is that most teams playing against have both of them still in their teams! DOH!

  9. Pushing for a top 500 finish I hope, currently 700’s, feedback appreciated.

DEF: Sinclair, Stewart, Dawson, Vlastuin, Daicos, Short
    (Crisp, Parnell)
MID: Oliver, Neale, Miller, Steele, Mills, Brashaw, Macrae, Cripps
    (Brodie, Owens, Mountford)
    RUC: English, Witts
    (Teakle)
FWD: Bont, Cogs, Parker, Heeney, Marshall, Dunkley
    (Butters, Carmichael)

    1 Trade and $15k ITB

      1. Yeah, that’s an awesome team with cover everywhere. I probably agree with saving the trade for an injury but on the slim chance Cogs is out again, could turn him into Gawn easily enough?

        3

  10. I’ll have to wait for team sheets to drop as I’m waiting to see if Cogs / Hewett return. I’ve got 60k in the bank, so can grab someone decent for either one of them – if they’re both out, I’m going to assume they’ll be out for the rest of the home and away season, and will use up my final trades (probably for Stewart and Marshall).

    6

    0
    1. This is such a hard one. If The Berg plays down back I would keep him in a heart beat. Keep an eye on team sheets to see if they drop Aleer. Daicos should be better V a Melbourne side that actually gives up quite good scores to defenders. I would trade both Short or Crisp over either of these guys TBH.

Best of luck whatever you decide.

  11. Daicos and Short to Stewart and Dawson.

Leaves me with 3 trades 23k itb and the week off in my league.

    TU: Do it.
    TD: Hold for the week.

    32

    1
    1. Check the breakevens, but I’d make an educated guess with Stewart and Daicos, you’re better off going this week.

      1

      0
  12. D7-8 is Parnell and Wehr
Got the week off in cash league.
    3 trades and 60k.

TU: Wehr to Zorko, move Crisp to D7
TD: Wait a week and use two trades to bring in Redman.

  13. Hi Guys. Finally trading out Crisp and will have $533300 available for 1 of the following
    TU Dale
    TD Barrass
    Your thoughts pls

    12

    5
    1. Hey Tony .

      Dale is $544.300 🙁

Barras has been great with Mc Loving missing but his low floor could cost you a finals match up.

I would maybe look at Angus Brayshaw as he has been given CBA’s lately.

It’s him or Saad for me. Saad playing great lately and should see a fair bit of ball with the Blues hard run coming home.

Just buy 2 cents good luck whatever you decide.

  14. I am thinking of now trading Nick Daicos. I already have Dawson, Stewart, Sicily and Sinclair. Short or Crisp will become my M9.
Who is the next best defender?

    1

    0
    1. On consistency, Dale. Can lock him in for 3x 105 ‘s to close out the season with your eyes closed.

If you want a little more ooomph, you could look to Redman. That could be a little points-chasey but his form and ceiling are nutty.

People might suggest Brayshaw but the minute he gets dislodged from last week’s MID role he becomes irrelevant.

So, yeah, for the sure thing: Dale. To sorta roll the dice and ceiling: Redman.

  15. Per CT’s Injuries post and update, Hewett will NOT return this week.

Very indeterminate injury and reportedly a “week to week” prospect.

  16. Hey guys knock out semi this week (prelim and GF) 3 trades left.
DEF- Sicily, Dawson, Sinclair, Daicos, Ridley, Short (D’Ambrosio, Parnell)
MID- Oliver, Laird, Steele, Neale, Petracca, McRae, Cripps, Boak (Carroll, Cox, Culley)
    RUCKS- English, Witts (Treakle)
FWDS- Dunkley, Bont, Libba, Cogs, Brodie, Parker (Rioli, Hampton)
TU- go all in 2 trades to to get Stewart for Short
TD- 1 trade Witts to Marshall (3k short of Gawn *insert crying emoji*
Or COMMENT- ride it out and save the trades and hope I win (opponent has trades to bring in another gun player)
    Thank as always

  17. Tu Gawn
    Td Marshall

For Hewett,(dp moves). Gawn leaves no cash Marshall leaves 50kish for last trade going forward?
    Cheers.

  18. Thinking about Oliver to Laird for my final trade.

Have a good team with coverage across all lines and Oliver being hurt might be good to bet against.

    TU do it makes sense
TD crazy talk keep the trade for injury

    1

    16
  19. Need one more defender to be at full premo. Two trades left

    T/U: Daicos to premo
T/D: Keep Daicos and save remaining 2 trades

    10

    8
    1. Alternatively,
T/U: Use my final trades to go one up, one down and finish my team.
T/D: Just use the one trade and trade Daicos

      1

      7
  20. TU: Crisp > Kiddy Coleman
TD: Wehr > Zorko, Crisp D7

Comment: Wait a week and trade Wehr down and Crisp upto best available defender

    1

    5
  21. So confused ….
    Which combination scores more …..
    T/U: Marshall, Heeney and Jackson
T/D: Gawn, Cameron and Rowell (plays Hawks in TAS)

    Thanks for any advice

    3

    6
  22. 2 trades left
TU – short and Wines to Laird and Cumberland,
TD- save trades in case of injuries
Will leave with no premiums on bench.

    2

    13
  23. 2 trades left. Targeting top 1k and in the prelim for all my leagues. Don’t have much cover for my best 22.

TU: Trade Crisp to Dawson this week and leave 1 trade for the final 2 weeks.
TD: Hold fire for this week. There will be carnage coming.

    13

    4
  24. 2 trades left, still have crisp and daicos and haven’t got Sinclair or Dawson which I would like one of them by the end. Haven’t got enough cash to go crisp to anyone except prob down to Zorko so it may have to be Daicos to either Sinclair (who has the harder run home) or Dawson who has a pretty easy run. I only want to use one trade and leave one spare. Daicos is set to lose a lot of Cash compared to crisp which may make my final trade tricky.

    So my thumbs are:

    TU: Daicos to Sinclair
    TD: Daicos to Dawson (Ade).

  25. So if saved up to upgrade a rookie to Stewart but I’ve upgraded Hewitt so now I’ve got 500k to spend with 2 trades left. The most obvious players I don’t have are Steele, Mills, Gawn and Libby. Which of these would be best to spend a trade in this week?

    0

    0
    1. Depends who you’re replacing in each line. Steele and Mills are the best of those 4 this year but you probably have good enough mids at M7 and M8 anyway while improving an underperforming forward to Libba or Gawn through dpp could be more helpful

      3

      0
  26. 4 trades left would like to bring in Marshall and also want to deal with the D5, 6, 7 mess that is Daicos, Short, Crisp.

Thinking Cameron (or Cogs if he isn’t named) to Marshall and
    Daicos/Short to Dale

Is there a benefit keeping Daicos to see if he bounces back? Or better dump him before he plummets in value and have the cash for the last two trades?

    TU: trade Daicos
    TD: trade Short

    5

    7
  27. My def premos are Crisp, Short, Dawson, Sicily and Dale. Who should I bring in for Daicos? Sinclair, Redman and Stewart are out of reach for me

    1. Zorko very risky, yes. His use and decision making also looks cooked.

Your only other options are really Hardwick, Aliir and McInerney, who are all dice rolls.

Can you use a 2nd trade to build a bigger budget? All of these options are kind of ass.

If not, then ugh – probably does have to be Zorko.

      1

      0
      1. Thanks Gunboat. Have only 1 trade left. If I don’t trade Wehr this week my d6 will be Khamis. Bit of a dilemma really!!

        1

        0
  28. Who to start on the field (don’t have the luxury of a loop with my other bench players all getting selected)

    TU – cogs
    TD – butters

Other option is heeney… but North Melbourne

    Cheers

    1
  29. Two trades left.

Thinking McCartin (currently on bench with Cumberland) to Marshall would make good cover. I have Crisp or Short as cover Mid/Def.
Can push any of Cogs, Bont, Smith, Brodie, Dunks or English to bench.
Probably can’t loop any this week without a late out.
May not be able to do the swap next week with price rise.

TU – worth the the trade for cover and loop options
    TD – save the trade

    thanks

    6

  30. Two trades, around $50k left. Not a must win this week but considering breakeven, probably my last chance to upgrade. Have McInerney in the ruck. With Campbell out again, worth bringing in Marshall and leaving one trade for injuries? Or save the two for the remaining couple weeks

    TU: bring in Marshall
    TD: save trades

    11

    0
  31. 2 trades left full premo team
Do short or crisp have to go ?
TU: Yes trade out for someone like redman
    TD: Save trade

    8

    4
  32. Might look at moving Hewett on if needed to win my league finals. Best replacement?

    TU: Docherty
    TD: Saad
    Comment: Coleman or Jake Lloyd

    10

    3
  33. Have 2 trades left – full premo with $250k it.
TU – Jackson to Marshall or Libba
TD – save trades for carnage

    8

    1
  34. Trade Daicos? 2 trades left, no cash.
Have Sinclair, Stewart, Dawson, Sicily and Crisp.
    T/U: Yes, straight swap him.
T/D: No, use both trades and upgrade Crisp or hold trades for potential injuries.

  35. I am looking at 2 options this week, with 2 trades left and $201k itb.

Option 1 – trade Cooper Hamilton (Mid) to a non playing 102k mid/def and trade Wehr to Jordan Dawson. This will mean Crisp/
Short will be D7 and also provide extra midfield coverage via DPP. This also gives me an extra non playing loop for VC/C.

Option 2 – trade Wehr to Worrell as defence cover and Lohmann to Rowan Marshall in the forward line. This will give me extra ruck coverage via Teakle and a loop in the forward line, can play Jeremy Cameron or Butters as F7. This option leaves Hamilton as my non playing VC/C loop.

    Currently have the following team:

Def: Stewart, Sinclair, Ryan, Angus Brayshaw, Short, Crisp (Wehr, D’Ambrosio)
Mid: Laird, Miller, Neale, Walsh, Macrae, Andy Brayshaw, Kelly, Cripps (Cumberland, Owens, Hamilton)
    Ruck: Witts, Nankervis (Teakle)
Forward: Liberatore, Parker, Brodie, Jeremy Cameron, Butters, Dunkley (Macdonald, Lohmann)

    T/U Option 1

    T/D Option 2

  37. Tarranto out and don’t have any coverage. Who to trade him too?
    TU: Marshall
    Or
TD: Bailey smith of Connor rozee
I like the thought of rozee especially this week against Richmond
