    1. Will need to see prices and all that but DEF is your biggest problem.

Cannot be fielding Wilmot and Cowan. I mean MAYBE Wilmot but him and Cowan at D5 and D6 is a no.

I’d look to parlay Worpel and your ITB into some DEF depth and then Philli, Baker and Long can hold down the fort at M8 for now. Again, will need to see prices to know what you can afford.

      Maybe:

      Worpel -> MID rookie
      Constable/Chesser -> Day

Rest of your team is super solid, Charlie.

      1. As far as afforable defence upgrades:
Look at Buckley too, was already averaging high 80’s and punched out 99 this week.

He’ll see a good jump in price but there’s plenty of growth in him.

Bowes disappointed a bit this week but is on the bubble at 277k with an 80+ average.

Haynes seems back to his best after a couple of years of injury issues.

Just remember to save a spot for Ziebell to come in to defence when DPP’s hit.

  2. Gov gone down earlier than I would have liked. The 108 and 116 to open the season with 120k+ saved off a 600k DEF was helpful though.

    Plan will be:

    Gov -> Day
    D. Cam -> Tingles

Had Gov not gone down I was almost going to go Neale to LDU to finance Tingles. Started Neale, Laird and Satan and only Satan really has been worth it.

Tingles now a must have. Treating him like a MID premo.

    1. Do you reckon there’s a chance next 3 rounds will see Grundy scoring as good as Tingles, or close to it, for about 120k less?

      7

      1
        1. Yeah but for those who need to spend two trades to get to English but only need one to get to Grundy, if you trade Grundy out when Gawn is back you’ve used the same amount of trades. Different for you with Gov, but if you have nothing else to fix I think Grundy is a very shrewd play.

          5

  3. Think I’ll need two trades to fix my ruckline. Will keep RoMo but am thinking D Cameron to Grundy… TU or TD?

Will also have to off a rookie early to get the cash for it though. Maybe Pedlar if he’s suspended? Not sure who I’d bring in though.

    8

    6
    1. Also not happy with my DEF premos with Sinclair and Doch. Could downgrade Doch to Day to get the cash instead?

  4. I put up Fix My Team as well as Trade Talk last week. Did you guys want Fix My Team up again?

  5. I am languishing badly so need to trade aggressively
I think I can get the following trades done
    Out – Cameron, McGovern Rowell
In – Oliver, Nank the Tank and Bowes
Oliver is a captaincy option every single week.
    I need a ruckman that won’t break.
As long as Bowes gets selected he will be good.

In reality I need 22 players on field who will not break.

    9

    1
  6. DEF – Docherty, Dawson, Daicos, Ginbey, McKenna, Wilmot (Constable, Cowan)
MID – Oliver, Macrae, Merrett, Green, Hopper, Callaghan, Ashcroft, Mackenzie (Baker, Davey, Chesser)
    RUC – Marshall, Cameron (Madden)
FWD – Dunkley, Coniglio, Taranto, Ziebell, Sheezel, Phillipou (Greene, Caminiti)

    $96.6k remaining.

First trade out will be obviously Cameron, which sucks because I brought him in for Darcy (not an entirely bad trade, Cameron still made money/Darcy still lost money). I’m not trading him back to Darcy, because that would be ridiculous.
But not sure who is the best ruck to trade him to apart from English, because I won’t be able to afford him.
Also since trading Callaghan in, he’s been TERRIBLE. So I’m not sure whether I should just pawn him off for someone cheaper, so I can get English in.

I have no clue on who to trade in this week, maybe Nank?

    1. Trade based on what you know and week by week. You knew last week you needed Darcy out. But this week…..

      1

      0
    2. Tingles for Cameron, while we’re waiting for price updates you should be able to scrape together a rookie in for Callaghan to make it viable. Even if it means Caminiti, Baker or Van Rooyen on the field next week.

      2

  7. Help, just not getting the points on the board, consistently at this point to sit still.
    Thoughts ?

DEF – Docherty, Dawson, Daicos, Ginbey, McKenna, Bowes (Wilmot, Cowan)
MID – Bont, A. Brayshaw,Green, Anderson, Hopper, Worpel, Ashcroft, Mackenzie (Baker, Phillips, Constable)
    RUC – Marshall, English (Madden)
FWD – Dunkley, Coniglio, Taranto,Sheezel, Pedlar, Phillipou (Greene, Davey)

    1. Hey TM ,Like a few of us It looks like the issue is in Doch,Bont,Brayshaw,Anderson,Worpel,Romo and Cogs. There’s another 250+a week there if they all play to plan , but they’ve been inconsistent /Underperformed.
I’m worried that o’meara has taken some of brays stream and Romo should just be scoring more! Cogs has lost form before- which is why Leon sent him forward. Probably for me to get Bray to clarry if you can is a start.

      2

      1
      1. Don’t think cogs has lost form mate, he had 29 touches on Saturday however just had an off game in terms of SuperCoach. Still averaging 102 and will be a top 6 fwd come end of the year, definitely hold.

        14

        0
        1. Well said, Olie.

Cogs 18 CBAs, basically team high with Green 19. Didn’t go forward. Blues the most restrictive midfield as well. Had him doing 90 pre-game max.

          4

          0
          1. I agree with both of you, which is why I didn’t say I’d let him go… it’s the hack kick disposal that he can fall into which can negate his numbers. At $550k I’m looking for better than 102 .It’s Brayshaw that worries me more and I’m not sure yet what to do with him. Thoughts?

            0

            0
            1. Thanks for the feedback.
              Thinking Doc to Day
              Anderson/Brayshaw > Clarry

              Or
              Anderson/Brayshaw > LDU

Doch had plenty of it, just didn’t eventuate to points. I think he will come good, but i won’t be able to get Clarry in without moving him on.

              1

              2
              1. I’d just do the second one. Doch should finish top 6 while we don’t know what will happen with Day

  8. I have 31 trades left with a Darcy Cameron issue. Should I:

    Cameron > Grundy
    or
Cameron and Neale > English and LDU

  9. So my team fkn sucks…

Dawson, Doch, Daicos, Ridley, Gibney McKenna (Wilmot, Cowan)

LDU, Green, Bazlenka, Setterfield, Hopper, Calla, Ashcroft, Mackenzie (Baker, Davey, Constable)

    Marshall, Cameron (Madden)

Dunks, Rozee, Taranto, Gulden, Sheez, Flanders (Long, Greene)

    – Kinda regret going balls dep in DEF and my MID sucking ass
    – Traded S.Darcy out for Cameron last week to get Ldu in (Capital L there)
    – Probably need Flanders and Calla out
    – 43k ITB
    – Send help

    1. Absolutely not the year to go deep down back. Ooof.

      Flanders -> van Rooyen (170k)
      Doch -> Day (340k)
      Cally -> Cripps

I typed all out that out then realized you still have Cameron. Hmm.

The move for most is to ball out and get Tingles but think you should consider a like priced replacement and then run and gun to improve your midfield. Could do the first to moves above, D. Cam to a 500-550k ruck and then have that bank ready to boost your midfield next week.

      3

      1
      1. Thanks GD,
See any issue in taking van Rooyen early? Could do
        – Flanders > van Rooyen
        – Cameron > Back to Darcy (or Grundy)
and that leaves $125k to eventually upgrade Bazlenka.

Do I take Darcy back or take punt on Grundy knowing when Gawn is back his output is down?

        0

        0
        1. Kind of have to go early on a rookie given where you’re at, it’s not ideal I know.

Grundy has a nice fixture and will pop off as a solo ruck for now. Gawn will come back and merc him and could recovery quickly. Darcy had an absolute dream match up today but soon crashes into some dense midfields and ruck opps, with Jackson still there.

Given you need to haul ass as well as bank every dollar, yeah: you have to go budget.

30k between Grundy and Darcy isn’t a lot, so it’s up to you. Personally, I’d ride Grundy: Eagles, Dons, Tigers, Roos coming up.

          0

          0
      2. I have Richards at d5. It’s the only reason I’m going ok. Lost Stewart and Gawn but my deep defence salvaged a horrible start.
Sic, doc, Dawson, daicos and Richards.
I think it came down to going 5 deep not 3-4.

    2. Replacement for Darcy Cameron, this will hopefully be a keeper for rest of the year.

TU: Sean Darcy 538K (24K cheaper than start price)

TD: Tim English 617K (36K more expensive than start price

  10. Reckon it will be either the 1 or 2 trades for me this week
Callaghan to Phillips and maybe constable to amartey what do people think about him kicked a bag round 1 but kicked 3 points today and managed to still get 78. Looks the goods for a 3 or 4 week price rise for me

    3

    3
  11. DEF: Daicos, Brayshaw, Ridley, Ginbey, McKenna, Wilmot (Constable, Cowan)

MID: Oliver, Miller, LDU, Green, Setterfield, Hopper, Ashcroft, Mackenzie (Baker, Hollands, Davey)

    RUCK: Marshall, Cameron (Madden)

FWD: Dunkley, Rozee, Taranto, Gulden, Sheezel, Phillipou (Greene, Caminiti)

I got a few issues, Cameron, Brayshaw, Setterfield if he is inj.

32 trades, 66k in bank, would love to hear what moves you guys think I should make

    1. Amartey. Hmm.

Reliant on bags but -72 BE and comes against Port’s tiny backline.

Don’t mind it, Steve. Good stuff.

      2

      0
      1. Like it too Steve thinking of amartey aswell scored a 122 with a bag but this week scored 78 even without kicking a goal. Like the look of that and with such a low breakeven could be good for at least 3-4 weeks of a decent price rise

        2

        0
  12. TU: Bruhn and Docherty –> Chandler and Stewart

TD: Bruhn and Neale –> Chandler and Oliver

    Comment for other options please

    4

    7
    1. If you don’t have Green and LDU, then the switch is easy.

If you already have them then it depends where you team’s at. Could grab Day if you DEF needs strengthening and build a bank.

      3

  13. Either

TU Hopper to Phillips to get Cameron to English or

TD Callaghan to Phillips to get Cameron to a lesser ruck, probably Darcy

    only 8K ITB

    0

    13
    1. I’d go Nank for the TD option, seems a lot more consistent than Darcy. He has scored 112, 118 and 124 so far

      7

      0
    2. I think we need to remember that Simpkin and LDU need to come back for North, meaning Phillips job security may still not be there…

      10

  14. Thinking about whether English or Witts is the best replacement for Darcy Cameron – and also thinking about the byes.
Do we know if it’s best 18 on field in all of the 4 bye rounds this season, or will the Round 13 bye (with only Geelong & Suns missing) revert to the usual round of best 22??

    0

    0
  15. TU
    OUT: Doch, Dcam & Callaghan
    IN: Oliver, Nank & Phillips

    TD
    OUT: Dcam & Callaghan
    IN: English & phillips

  16. Sinclair, Doch, Daicos, Ginbey, Wilmot, Mcvee (Constable, Cowan)

Laird, Miller, Bont, LDU, Green, Setters, Ashcroft, Baker (Mackenzie, Davey, Chesser)

    Marshall, D Cameron (Madden)

Dunkley, Rozzee, Taranto, Sheezel, Long, Caminiti (Pedlar, Greene)

Only 9,800 ITB so don’t have many options to fix the D Cameron issue. Any advice appreciated.

  17. Aside from English, what other ruckmen are worth considering? I’ve already got RoMo and would like to avoid an injury prone ruckman (if there is such a thing), while maximising $$

    0

    0
    1. Tingles in R1 when in full flight, which he currently is. Insane scoring stream and will smoke everyone else. For mine, he’s a must have if you’ve got Cameron to replace and a viable path to Tingles.

Witts solidly R2. Consistent, bats to a deep midfield and really preys on soft match ups better than anyone. Ends up R1 if Tingles goes down.

      It’s them and RoMo.

Grundy will be lit for as long as Gawn’s out and then Maxxy also shown he can still pop off alongside Grundy.

      1

      0
      1. So if I’ve already got Witts and RoMo, do you see much value in trying to go RoMo up to English? I’ve got a couple other minor issues to fix, but I have contemplated it.

        0

        10
  18. If LDU is right to go this week, I have the funds to bring him in for Liam Jones. Understand jones has some coin to make but LDU is looking bangin

    T/U: yi
    T/D: na

  19. Unfortunately took Cunnington instead of Ziebell. Do I persist with him, or look to swap him to Day?

    T/U: Wait
    T/D: Gone via Chesser/Constable

    0

    17
  20. Cameron to Grundy and then, assuming both of them are picked…..

TU; Callaghan to Hopper (better job security)
TD; Callaghan to Phillips (better cash generation?)

    Thanks !

    17

    2
  21. Out – D.Cameron, A.Brayshaw

In – LDU, N.Daicos via DPP

Hate trading Premos but Brayshaw is absolutely butchering the footy and the minute.

    15

    0
  22. Due to LDU being late out, I traded him to ziebell last minute which left me with 300k in the bank. Have two options this week.

Tu: Ridley & Cameron > Oliver & Grundy

Td: Chesser & Cameron > Armartey & English (200k in bank for Stewart next week)

    2

    13
  23. TU: LDU, English and Van Rooyen
    TD: LDU, Grundy, Philips/Amartey

    (For D.Cameron, Warner & Callaghan)

    8

    0
  24. DEF: Ryan, Doc, Daicos, Day, Ginbey, Wilmot (Cowan, Constable)
MID: Miller, Andrew Brayshaw, Green, Mitchell, Setter, Ashcroft, Hollands, Phillips (Hopper, Mackenz, Davey)
    RUCK: Marsh, Draper (Madden)
FWD: Dunk, Taranto, Gulden, Zieb, Sheez, Phillipou (Chandler, McLean)
    Bank: $18k

A few issues, I think my main issue is getting Draper out.

TU: Hold trades and let rookies increase in price
TD: Use boost and get Draper out (what trade options to go with Flynn or go big for Witts/English)

    0

    2
  25. TU: Warner, D.Cameron and Callaghan out for LDU, English and Van Rooyen
TD: Merrett, D.Cameron and Callaghan out for LDU, Grundy and Bowes

    9

    1
  26. Not a direct trade question, but are we overlooking Josh Daicos and/or De Goey?

Sub 500k and both over the 100 average?

    9

  27. Def: Dawson, Docherty, Ginbey, Jones, McKenna, Wilmot (Cowan, Constable)
Mid: Laird, Bont, Green, Setterfield, Worpel, Hopper, Callaghan, Ashcroft (Mackenzie, O Baker, Hollands)
    Ruc: Darcy, Marshall (Madden)
Fwd: Dunkley, Rozee, Taranto, Sheezel, Phillipou, Chandler (Greene, Davey)

What should I do?!!!!!! Only used three trades so far.

    1. Callaghan to Rowston
      Worpel to Oliver
      Jones to Nick Daicos

Put Rowston on the bench and MacKenzie on field.

Will leave you about 15k ITB

      8

  28. Cameron (Fwd) to:

    TU: Rozzee
    TD: Day (via DPP)
Comment: Other (can’t be more expensive than Rozzee and I have most of the popular players)

My backline has 4 rookies on field (Ginbey, Cole, McKenna, Wilmot), currently no rookies on field up fwd but would need to move Long on field if I choose Day.

    4

    6
  29. DEF – Sicily, N. Daicos, Ginbey,
    L.Jones, McKenna, Wilmot,
    (Cowan, Chesser)
MID – Miller, Bont, Green, Setterfield,
    Worpel, Hopper, Ashcroft, Mackenzie
    (Baker, Davey, Constable)
    RUCK – Cameron, Marshall (Madden)
    FWD – Dunkley, Rozee, Taranto
    Gulden, Sheezel, Chandler
    (Phillipou, F.Greene)

593k in bank 32 trades left.

Going backwards down the list in points. I need to fix Cameron and get some big point scorers in. Lots of money makers but need some points on the board. Have slipped from position 4000 to 10,000 to 22,000.
Nice kitty to spend and want 2 or 3 big keepers but can only get it to 2.

    English is probably R1,
    Oliver M1 or 2 and
    Stewart most likely D1.

    Cameron to English is obvious.

But having trouble deciding between these two options.

    Option 1 Thumbs Up
    L. Jones to Stewart.
Leaves $103K in the bank. Aiming for Oliver, Laird etc next couple of weeks if possible.
But Stewart is probably going to be $30K cheaper next week.

    Option 2 Thumbs down
    L. Jones to Oliver via Constable DPP which brings points and a captain but I’m not sure it feels right.
Puts low scoring rookies Wilmot & Cowan on field in DEF..
Chesser & Constable to the DEF bench.
Puts a high scoring rookie to the MID bench (MacKenzie).
And Oliver costs $700k and only leaves $6k in the bank.

I don’t see any urgency to move on Chesser & Constable. I hate blowing trades on zero dollars gained and can’t see anything urgent they could get me to.

Any other thoughts I should be considering?
My brain toyed with Nank, Worpel, LDU, Ziebell but I couldn’t make anything work as well as the big guns.

    0

    2
    1. Worpel to buckley via dpp
      bank = 648
      Cameron to English
      bank =528
      Chesser to Stewart
      bank=40k

I reckon its gives you an extra 120pts and gives you good defense bench cover

      3

      1. Thank you for the feedback Dave. Much appreciated.
It is certainly worth a think about going Worpel to Buckley but I have already missed $70k of Buckleys rise and Worpel may have quite a bit more in him yet if he can get back to those heady days of 90 average.
I think I will save the boost and eye off van Rooyen as Chessers replacement if he performs again.
So at this stage I am going
        Cameron to English
        L.Jones to Stewart
        with $103 ITB.

  31. I know this is crazy but sometimes these things can pay off.
    2 issues this week.
Cameron to replace and my backline is struggling.
I think Will day looks great and has money to make so i want to jump on now.
I will get the points and price rises.
The way I can afford it is this:
    Cameron -> Grundy
    Bont -> DeGoey
    Chesser -> Day

My other option is Cameron -> Tingles
    Keep playing rookies in backline

    T/u: Go crazy
    T/d: Get Tingles

    4

    13
  32. I can afford Marshall to English with 80K left in the bank and 30 trades or I can save the trade…what do we think?

  33. Cameron, Callaghan out for

TU: Grundy, Phillips ( 120k in bank )
TD: English, Phillips ( 13k in bank )

    13
  34. Callaghan to buckley via DPP?
    – cal on my mid bench so not losing any mid production
    – other option is phillips + cash but feel as though buckley will make similar cash/more, and will have better JS whereas phillips could be out any week

    Tu: buckley
    Td: other option

  35. Hey everyone,

Hope the last round wasn’t too traumatic for most of you!
I need to replace Cameron (FWD) for around the same price, so am looking at:

    TU: J. DeGoey (via DPP)
    TD: L. Baker

    $40K ITB
Any thoughts appreciated, thanks Super Coaches!

  36. Out;Cameron, Zeibell, Callaghan
    In. Grundy N.Daicos and Amartey.
Cameron is obvious, Zeibell only traded in last week and Finn will be too slow a burn. Couldn’t afford Nick last week and could only get him by buying Zeibell price rise.

    TU or TD
I already have witts and romo , do I stick with them or cut one loose ?

  38. Midfield: C.Oliver, L.Neale, Z. Merrett, T.Green, T.Mitchell, W. Setterfield, J. Hopper, O. Baker

    Zachary Merrett…

T/U – Hold, and let the cows ripen then grab the premos
T/D – LDU, Zerrett not a top 8 mid and the bombers only break your heart anyway…sorry, TMI!

  39. Cameron and Callaghan will be on their way out.
    TU: Grundy and Buckley
    TD: English and Phillips

    6

    1. I voted TD because I don’t think Grundy will score well sfter Gawn returns, so you’re using up another ruck trade in 4-5 weeks.

      2

  40. Got all the right rookies mostly.

Callaghan to Phillips and $104k plus another $100k in three weeks.

    T/U No brainer

    1. Good chance Phillips gets dropped (or to the sub) with LDU and Simpkin returning especially after North’s first loss. Plus Wardlaw had his first hit out in the 2’s on the weekend to add futher pressure to his job security. Rowston?

  41. Trading out Chesser and Cameron for:

TU: Grundy + Buckley (gets Cowan off field)
TD: English + Samson Young (keeps Cowan onfield)

  42. Used 6 trades last two weeks, looking to correct Warner to a certified premium.

    TU: Jelly

FYI: I am never sold nor convinced on any North player to continue their form or remain consistent throughout the year.

    Would love your opinions.

    1. Out of those two LDU is the more reliable pick. Kelly just too injury prone, if LDU doesn’t convince you then maybe look at Mitchell, Parish or Libba. But I’d have LDU ahead of all of them at this stage

      1. I’m not sold on Gulden for some reason. He hasn’t really set the world on fire and not sure on this role. Is he Top 6?

        1

        5
        1. He’s just good value. Good trajectory and ceiling.

You’ve already got Dunkley, Rozee, Taranto and Ziebell.

Take your pick from Moore and Gulden really.

    1. Chesser unless you need a loop for the short term. Constable will make money if and when he plays again, but is also a sub risk.

      2

      0
      1. Can’t see Constable getting another game unless GC have multiple injuries. First Weller returned in R2 then Powell in R3. Lemmens just played his first game in the 2’s this week and will come back into the backline very soon. At least Chesser will get regular games. Just got to hope he can start scoring better than he has been.

  44. Hey lads, unsure if I’m going mad but considering this trade

    Docherty – Day
    Callaghan – LDU
    Philpou – van rooyen

Is this a waste? Should I just be focusing on maybe downgrading Callaghan to Phillips or chandler?

    Current team (61k ITB)
DEF – Sicily, Docherty, daicos, Gibney, Mckenna, Wilmot (constable, Cowan)

MID – Oliver, Laird, Bont, Green, Hopper, Callaghan, Ashcroft, Mckenzie (Uwland, Baker, Chesser )

    Ruck – Witts, Marshall (maden)

FWD – Dunkley, Coniglio, Taranto, Sheezel, Philipou, Long (davey, Greene)

    Please comment any suggestions

    1. Hey mate, would probably look to maybe move heeney, seems way to inconsistent and heaps of better options out there

Could also downgrade callaghan as his break even is pretty high

      2

      0
    2. Honestly I’d look at Callaghan down to Will Phillips and that should give you cash for Draper to Grundy. Potentially Heeney to Ziebell then if you’re happy to boost

      0

      0
      1. Ok, just saw Heeney’s scores. May have to get him out more urgently. You should be close to Taranto but otherwise can do Ziebell to get some cash. If you just do the Callaghan downgrade you could turn Heeney into Dunkley which would be good

  50. Greetings all, my current side is

Docherty, Naicos, Ridley, Ginbey, McKenna, Cowan (Constable, Chesser)
Laird, Neale, Bont, Green, Setterfield, Callaghan, Ashcroft, MacKenzie (Baker, Long, Davey)
    Grundy, Marshall (Madden)
Dunkley Taranto, Cameron, Gulden, Sheezel, Phillipou (Chandler, Greene)
    $25600 ITB & 33 trades

Traded in Cameron instead of LDU last week and was able to keep Callaghan as a result (looked good at the time). So this week’s choice

    T/Up – Cameron/Callaghan to Rowston (via Davey)/ T Stewart (via Chesser)
    or
    T/Down – Cameron/Callaghan to Rowston (via Davey)/LDU

LDU is the sexier trade as it was last week and he will go up as Stewart will drop this week, but Stewart splits up Chesser and Constable and gives better balance (again on paper).

Any comments or better idea’s welcome thanks guys !

  51. Flynn? Goes well without Pruess. While Pruess is due back in a couple of months, English is no sure thing to stay on the park. Plus Pruess isn’t exactly a safe bet.

Or just stick to my gut and go Witts?

    1

    3
    1. Would be going Tingles over everyone.

Then Grundy if you want to save coin.

Flynn actually has a great fixture and bats to a deep midfield. Suppose if your back’s up against the wall and you can’t go up at all, he’s fine.

But, yeah, ball out for Tingles or kick up to Grundy.

  52. Worpel & Setterfield to LDU & Brockman.

  53. Hi everyone – thoughts please!!

Docherty Daicos Jones McKenna Ginbey Wilmott (Constable Cowan)

Oliver Bont Green Coniglio Gulden Settlefield Hopper Ashcroft ( Mackenzie Baker Long)

    Cameron Marshall (Madden)

Dunkley Taranto Rozee Zieball Sheezel Chandler (Phillipou Davey)

    100k itb

Could do just one trade Cameron to Grundy(ok short term but English better) but also wanting to strengthen backline – Only way I can see to do is to get rid of a good mid/fwd (which one?? Prob Coniglio as others all doing ok) to Day(via Constable) and then do Cameron to English.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and is Coniglio the one to go ??(purely based on B/E)

    Thanks in advance!!

  57. Had Darcy Cameron in my forwards. Who’s the best trade in option?
    TU – Gulden
    TD – Ziebell

    1. Depends on your backline Arthur.

If you’re thin down back Ziebell maybe the better option, as you can swing him back in a few weeks. Gulden has been solid but that 85 last week means he should stay under $500k for at least the next few weeks.

    1. I asked the question Saad to Dawson. And I never normally ignore groupspeak, the wisdom of the masses. And I swapped Saad and Dawson back and forth all week in my trade up from Jones to premo. They are both good picks. Most of my team have 50 to 70% ownership so what the heck, ignore groupspeak and go for a pod instead. I never intentionally go for pods, so now is a good time to start I tell myself. So I go for Saad, after all he is averaging more than Dawson. Maybe this is his year to recover from being a fallen premo. And Saad does respectable, goes 104, that will do. And then Dawson plays …. FFS Arrgggghhhh!!!! @#!&*#@ … Of course that was always going to happen, no matter which way I went it was going to be wrong Dawson 174 points. Maybe its Saads turn next week.

Cameron to English no brainer. Going early on that last one but considering breakevens, the potential points are worth it imo. Brayshaw to Day is iffy, but my mids are fairly deep and this will be some decent cash gen. Will look to upgrade my two dead rookies next week with bubble boys

    1. Cool that SuperCoach has multiple mummas now, hopefully you can have similar success as the other one. I reckon Cameron to LDU is a good way with one trade to fix the problem. Might just have to hold Sean Darcy for now unless you downgrade him to Grundy or Flynn but backing him in is a fine move

      1. Thanks Johnno, yes have been inspired by her.

I was thinking Cameron to LDU.

Which trade options looks better you think?

        0

        0
        1. Yeah, rightly so. She’s absolutely great and considering how many women love footy, nice to have more and more in SuperCoach with a few regulars on this site.

Personally I feel like Will Day is one who would’ve been great to start but I’m not sure he’ll have as easy competition again as he did against North with their two best mids out so I think he’s more likely to be 85-90 avg and therefore less sure he’ll be a finishing player or make enough cash to do it. Getting out of Darcy is very interesting though so if you like it, pull the trigger but I’d personally go conservative. Then again, I’m having a shocker this year so maybe need to stop trying to give advice and work out a way to fix my own team I think both options are good so you really have to work out which one makes you feel better or maybe put it as a question at the bottom of the trade talk thread.

  79. With Pedlar out for one week and I missed the boat on Chandler last week (had more pressing issues), is Pedlar to Chandler trade viable considering chandler is playing and going to make cash faster and likely score better in the long run. Note that I do still have Davey and Greene as cover so points for this week isn’t an issue, just thinking about long term benefit.

  83. Hi guys,

Returning to SuperCoach after a few years out of it and after a bit of advice, team below:

    Backline:
    S. Docherty, N. Daicos, J. Ridley, R. Ginbey, C. McKenna, D. Wilmont (L. Cowan & C. Constable).

    Mids:
    C. Oliver, T.Miller, T. Green, W.Setterfield, J. Hopper, W. Ashcroft, C. Mackenzie, O. Baker (W. Phillips, F Callaghan & A. Davey)

    Rucks:
    D. Cameron, R. Marshall (N. Madden)

    Forwards:
    J. Dunkley, S. Coniglio, T. Taranto, E. Gulden, H. Sheezel, K. Chandler (M. Phillipou & F. Greene).

    $265.2k in the bank.

I’m currently looking at a possible shift to either Grundy and Day in exchange for Cameron and Callaghan (via Constable DPP), leaving some $$$ to nab Stewart next week. Alternatively, I could get T. English instead of Grundy, but would be at a struggle to get Stewart next week as this trade would only leave 3.4k in the bank.

On a side note, I might be able to bring in a Grundy, LDU and rookie with a 3-way trade, although I’m not sure that’s the go as my backline is relatively weak (thus the prioritisation for Stewart next week).

Open to any and all suggestions.

    Thanks team.
