This week the concerns are around grabbing the high performers and ditching the low performers. I’ve chosen a few for the community to give their thoughts on. Please provide comments to clarify your decisions where necessary. Thanks.

I don’t think trading players in or out based on one game is sensible. However with some players on two games, it’ll force some key decisions. Personally, I’d be getting rid of Fisher (who I avoided), for either Heeney or Flanders (even with byes coming up). Yes Fisher had the role but I’d much rather the ‘sure thing’ that the other two provide, but he’s not a must trade if you still believe in him.
I’ll likely wait on MDA one more week, but will probably get him in next week assuming he scores ok and would be fine with going early if other options aren’t available when teams are named. Wouldn’t boost to get him in though.
Agree 100%. Fish went for me so I could get Heeney. MDA had to come in for an on-field Gibcus (rip). I never usually was a first round trade out kinda guy but for the balance of my team and with the sheer amount of trades I feel like you can get away with a few early.
Was going to post my thoughts but Cripps Walk nailed it. I do have Fish so it’s a play-by-play for my team.
Another poll suggestion is does anyone prefer the latest updates pinned post over the easier to see coaches box…..
Hi mate. We all preferred the Coaches Box but unfortunately we had to disable it because it was causing issues on the site. We’re working furiously behind the scenes to bring it back but in the meantime, the pinned post was the best workaround we could think of.
With 40 trades this year coaches are gunna be less patient.
Man, tough first week. Young, Fisher and Newcombe. Gonna give these guys another week. But I think I need to trade
TU – Harmes & Gibcus to D’Ambrosio & Berry
TD – don’t panic, save the trade
I’m not intending to trade the next couple of weeks, so this week I am boosting, I’ve gone Young to Ryan, in part because of the selection shenanigans that freo employ with Young, 525k is too much for that crap. If he settles and flies then I might get him back. z Reid goes to the bench. Newcombe has become Miller. Less money and just a mistake corrected. Owens could turn out to be excellent, but Hogan is going to make huge money the next month and looks to be the best key fwd in the comp right now. He’s the one worth boosting for in my opinion.
Young has another week to redeem himself for me, possibly gonski next week
TU touk miller
TD heeney
Out – Newcombe, fisher, gibcus
In – serong, T.Berry, D’Ambrosio
T/u yes
T/d Naa
To move Gibcus to Massimo with lack of cash, best option seems…
Gibcus + Williams out.
Massimo + Coffield in.
Do it?
Or waste?
Wait a week. No price changes occurs for them so an injury or a spud game can make it a massive waste.
Bye round is also helping reducing score damage
