Surely you’re already thinking about next year.

Who has already been penned into your team? And even if they have the best pre-season ever, who will not be getting a gig?

Def: Deledio, Goddard, Bock, Hodge, Gibbs

Mid: Swan, Boak, O’Meara, Zaharakis, Gray

Ruck: Sandi, Leunbergur, Nic Nat

Fwd: Franklin,Fyfe, Cox, Lecras, Krakour, Staker, Cloke, Fevola, Dick

Deledio is a must if still a D/M
Buddy proved on fiday night just how good he is
If Cox is a R/F he’ll be in my team
Nic Nat and Sandi will be the best 2 ruck next year but will start with one and Leunbergur.
Boak and Goddard will be in my team if their good priced and CHANGE clubs.
Hodge and Gibbs are in if there D/M or M/F, new coach could do Gibbs some good.
Lecca, Krak, Staker, Bock will all be cheap and have to be looked at.
Dick should start to get games.

If I had a choice between J Riewoldt and Big Tommy Hawkins I’d pick Hawkins every day of the week (and twice on Sundays). Only reason J Riewoldt gets in because he won the JC medal on the final day. Hawkins has been amazing this year and has stood up when counted and kicked the big goals when needed.

Ok Guys. It is about locks and are you all saying Deledio Gazza and Franklin will not be locks for your 2013 teams.
It will change also depending on the Draw I am still kicking myself after seeing Ryders price and the Draw 2012 I did not put him in Early. He was never going to be the Ultimate lock however early on was fantastic and a lot to do with the Draw. You guys actually talked me out of that one.
Which Ever of the Higher Teams gets GWS / GCS / Twice and Melbourne or Port Adelaide twice are thrown in the mix. Some teams would have played them twice by round 13. I will be targetting some of there players whether this year underperformed, injured and some premo’s

The idea is to get a team scoring 2200+ from round 1, A core of Premiums with LTI affected players which will be upgraded in a few rounds time. Rookies will provide long-term growth on the bench.

Hawker September 3, 2012 at 6:09 pm

Mate I think next years scores will be overall lower than the last two. The biggest problems is finding enough early rookies to allow your team to upgrade. Last 2 have been easy you have had basically 22 players to pick from because of GWS and GCS. Next year will be about the mature age players. But then if you pick the likes of Zorko and Gibson who did not debut until late, becomes a headache to upgrade. GWS will have a few, but if you take GCS this year only Kyal Horsley comes to mind who generated cash early. A Hall, did not make the cut, A Sexton similar story. All came from the likes of Bugg, Smith, Greene, Kennedy, Treloar, Sheil the list goes on. On top of that we have had 3-4 years now of mature aged recruits so the pickings getting less. The Duds of this year or injured will be in for sure.
For the last 2 most of our money has come from GCS or GWS.

Will be hard work finding 94,000 to 103,000 first up players.

Oh, I agree. Which means you’d probably need to pick more LTI midpricers than going for a full GnR strategy. This year, I’ve picked up a few tips to save trades too, which will probably. But I do agree with you, 2013 is going to be far harder than 2011 or 12.

Unlucky to miss out, I must say. However, I can’t get everything right and it is only a personal opinion. There are a lot of quality midfielders in the game, and it can be hard to fit everyone in. Having said that, I reckon this team has a reasonable chance of beating anyone.

Yep, Watson ahead of Jack, Cotchin and Kennedy.

Was the best midfielder in the comp at the start of the year and even when the Bombres turned to shit he was starring. Only went off the boil in the last three rounds when he was shot from carrying a team for 20 rounds.

McPharlin miles ahead of Talia.

-Sam Docherty of the Lions not getting a game is good starter for next year if he has a good pre-season in him.
-Hamling of Geelong would be handy Ruck emergency – especially if DPP with Def or Forward.
-The two Couches (Swans & Crows)
-Liam Jurrah if picked up by Port / Crows & should they price him at $110,000 on account of potentially being in Cell Block H after his March court case.
-Seb Ross & other young Saints after we get rid of the deadwood.
-Taking more notice of hard / soft draws – going D.Martin rather than Danger cost me & probably lots of others.

When u actually look at the potential players for next yr, its actually kind of exciting. Next season will prob be the yr of the mid prices. With all the long term and season ending injuries we’ve had, we could “potentially” see ourselves with a very decent team come rnd 1.. The thing i am most looking forward to is the SCTTL again. Everyone voicing their opinion on who we should choose, then the votes.. Once again, thanks to the guys at SCTalk, for the best fantasy site and with the best contributors. No doubt everyone on here is better for having this site. Cant wait for next yr. if possible, can we still have the occasional thread regarding trade talks, drafts, and general goss or rumours we may have heard..

Had 4 trades left for the finals, and i brought Sandi, Fyfe, Scotland and Swan to my team.Good timing i guess, but without the help from this site, i know i wouldn’t have done so well this year. So thankyou guys.

2 players i will lock in to start next year – Cotchin and Rich

2 players who will not get a gig – DalSanto and M.Robinson

See you again next year

GAJ-Note to everyone should be first picked ALWAYS and should be first choice captain ALWAYS.
Cotchin-Is a star and will be even better next year and will win a Brownlow dont think it will be this year but Cotch will go close..
Lids-Getting older and still fires out 100+ scores on a regular basis but age doesnt seem to worry lids.
Dangermouse-Finally had a breakout year and im tipping Dangerman to continue that form next year.
L,Ball-Will be coming back from injury and imo a fit and firing Luke Ball can be a top 10 mid in the comp and will be dirt cheap…
J,Caddy-Will be his third year and im tipping a breakout year for Caddy when he plays for the Bombers.Thats right mark my words Josh Caddy will be at the mighty Bombers come trade week you heard it first from Dazz.
Rookies
T,Mitchell-Was all the rave at the start of the year was hearing he was rackin up possies like theres no tomorrow. If he gets picked rd 1 his in
L,Whitfield-Should be pick number 1 in november and theres big wraps on him he will be on my mids bench.
J,Daniher-He hasnt even played a game yet and there rating him the best ever to come out of the TAC Talk about pressure if the young Bomber gets picked rd 1 his lock in Dazza’s Allstars.
Sorry fellow super coaches thats all im spilling on my team ive got a strategy going into next year and a few other players that will probably get a spot in my line up but ill be keeping those cards close too my chest….

I would imagine they would be on the higher side i.e. 170,000. Both sound like really good prospects. O’Meara would get loads of game time, so hopefully they are generous and price them cheap i.e. $130K

Dirt cheap) are probably better options. Up to you

No. The prices are only taken from r1 to r23, no finals scores count. So if you have a rookie who debuts in the finals, he will still be the same price next year as he was this year. So ‘Dicky’ won’t have any effect on his price no matter how many tons he knocks out.

Um, 0 games is 50% discount, 1-2 is a 40%, 3-4 is a 30% 5-6 is 20% and 7-9 is 10%. This is off the price that they would get if they had have played 10 games. You have to multiply their avg by 5420

I think mundy, due to the fact that west coast already have so many high scoring players. 6 averaging 100+ compared to freo’s 2. Also mundy didn’t have much of a preseason and second half of the season has been really good. I think with a proper preseason he will truly be back to his top form.

Ok. Have got on the Fanplanner and have been hit by some positional changes.
B: Gibbs, Birchall, Grimes, Heppell, Duffield, Bock, Schade, Docherty, Pittard.
M: Ablett, Cotchin, Murphy, Mundy, Morabito, O’Meara, T.Mitchell, Crouch
R: Leuenberger, Vardy, Witts, Daniher.
F: Franklin, Bennell, Zaharakis, Cloke, Hawkins, LeCras, Gray, Varcoe, Macaffer.
158k left. If there are any changes that you think need to be made please tell me!
My forward and defence are both strong, but worried about Hawk/Cloke. Big gorillas are inconsistent! Also, note that Deledio isn’t named as a defender.

Ruck look pretty weak with Vardy as 2nd ruck and i would hold off on Morrabito till you see him play a couple of games next year, and could be better options than Mundy other than that doesnt look to bad.But i can guarantee you that wont be your start up team for next year

Um, Vardy will hopefully have a breakout year this year so he is a lock to start, Mundy will hopefully recapture his 2011 form with a full pre-season and be a bargain, read above. I have 207k but that is for slack on the Fanplanner, as I think that it underprices players.

Ok mate, have taken ur advice on a few things. Morabito out, Varcoe to mid, Daniher in fwd. What do you think? Keeping Vardy, but could go Mundy to Hodge or Gaff?

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 1 Thumb down 0

Dazz September 13, 2012 at 6:58 pm

Looks alot better you have a good point about Vardy i suppose the point i was trying to make was im not sure about Berger and Vardy as 1st and 2nd rucks Vardy could have a breakout year. But Berger as 1st choice ruck not sure about i would see how he goes in the pre season. But imo if ya gonna have Vardy as second ruck id go for a proven performer as my 1st ruck.Gaff will be a superstar and could have a breakout year next year.Hodge is a superstar and providing his injury free will dominate 2013.Also cant go past Daniher and Witts recruiters are saying Daniher would be a top 3 draft pick if he was in the draft and Witts will get games his had plenty of time to learn in the VFL and will step up next year.
Varcoes and interesting one could he do a Dangerfield and have a breakout year a year later than what everyone expected.. I think theres a chance..

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Popey September 13, 2012 at 7:41 pm

Yeah mate, I agree on most points. But Berger avg 102 in 2011 and scored 100 and 102 in first 2 games of 2012. He is a lock as starting ruck, and Vardy would be a waste on the bench, so that is how I am keeping it. What is ur ruck combo BTW?

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Dazz September 13, 2012 at 9:54 pm

Im not sure yet but i think my first ruck will be Cox and with my second ruck im lookin at Berger to fill that spot but ill be keeping an eye on him pre season if he looks the goods ill be jumping on. In saying that its impossible to know your side yet because of suspensions or LTI.But at this time of year its fun trying to put a team together that you think might be a lock….

Surely that team planner thing on Fan Footy can’t be accurate. In 5 minutes I picked this team:

Def: Goddard, Waters, Gibbs, Heppell, H.Shaw, Bock, Staker (Docherty, D.Morris)
Mid: Ablett, Watson, Cotchin, Ball, Whitfield, Viney (Crouch, O’Mera)
Ruck: Naitanui, Leuenberger (Vardy, Witts)
Fwd: Franklin, Rioli, S.Johnson, Gray, LeCras, Varcoe, D.Menzel (Daniher, Dick)

$72k in the Salary Cap.
Lots of mid pricers but I figure half will pay off and half won’t so just upgrade during the year. It seems like it shouldn’t be that easy though! No doubt the preseason will throw some mature age rookies who’ll start the year but I’m calling it early that 2013 will be the year of the mid price starting squads!

Basing it on the previous two years of fan planner m0ntys first shot at prices are anywhere from 500k-800k off.

Just pick one, and you can trade them to one of the others if they are killing it. Mundy my pick atm.

DEF: Gibbs, Reilly, Hanley, Grimes, Heppell, Bock, Docherty, Pittard, Schade.
MID: Ablett, Cotchin, Murphy, Whitfield, Viney, Wines, O’Meara, Mitchell
RCK: Naitanui, Leuenberger, Daniher, Grundy
FWD: Franklin, Bennell, Johnson, Fyfe, Zaharakis, Gray, Lecras, Varcoe, McCaffer.

This team according to tooserious prices is about bang on the money, although you want 100-400 thousand left.
Backline decided to get midpriced players that in 2013 will shine like grimes and Heppel, Lids a must have only if DEF/Mid but seems unlikely
Midfield got to have GAZ and Cotch, reckon Murphs in for a breakout year plus this years draft pool along with the Jaegerbomb, Crouch and Mitchell will be nice juicy cash cows.
Naitanui is a great SC scorer and the Berger is a must have, Daniher and Grundy seem promising.
Franklin, Bennell, Johnson all premiums, Fyfe Zaha, Gray, Lecras all mid priced players that have the capability to score highly and Varcoe, McCaffer are hard to resist.

Cant wait for 2013 SC

Lids won’t be a back and is too expensive for midfield. Goddard is not the same under Watters, which may be why people are avoiding him, but still a lock for me. Heppell should be ready to breakout and Hanley is improving every match. Grimes should also be ready to step up to the elite category.

I second that. Lids a lock if he is a back, but he won’t be. You need 2 of Heppell, Hanley and Grimes to have a good SC team this year. All will avg 100+ and are very cheap for the talent they show. Goddard is a maybe. Not the lock he has been in the past.

A very strong team. Better options than Whitfield though, might be too expensive this year. But then again, might be a gun. Vardy a waste on the bench, but apart from that, not many faults.

Dazz, What is the point of not getting cheap rookies. This year the most expensive rookies wearnt even good. If you wanted to use them as cash cows why would u get expensive rookies if they are going to make about the same amount of money.
Patton started about $96,000 more dollars than Zorko but Zorko finished the season nearly $300,000 dollars more than Patton
So it doesn’t make a difference if the rookie is around $100,000 or higher
So why would u choose the more expensive rookie?
U should always do your research in the preseason for cheap champion rookies.
Also why don’t u FUCK OFF DAZZ

I ALREADY TOLD U THAT WE DON’T KNOW ALL THE ROOKIE PRICES FOR 2013 because they haven’t been drafted yet. I don’t live under a rock! I never said I hadn’t heard of any new Rookies for 2013 I was asking for mainly this years rookies, you don’t listen because your dumb. I already said I was going to wait till preseason to add more rookies so I would know which rookies to get.
I only asked u for some cheap good rookies because you were acting like u knew everything, but I guess u don’t know every thing because u dont know how to use manners.
So thank u for nothing

Also thanks popey for standing up for me and the advice
How hard is it to get someone to answer a simple question? Normally not that hard but for some reason Dazz struggled with a simple question that he knew

HOW DO U GET YOUR TEAM SCORING HIGH FROM THE BEGINING?

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 2 Thumb down 1

Reply

Popey September 17, 2012 at 10:06 pm

Mate, if we new the answer to that question we would be SC gods. That is one of the great mysteries of SC. It is what makes it so great. A good way to start is with the best rookies and Gary Ablett as captain. From there, it is the luck of the draw. Most teams end up looking similar at the end of the year, so you have to be smart and pick unique players, rookies especially, at the start. Another good way, is to make multiple teams with different strategies, and then pick your best one after round 8 (a third through the season) and work with that.

Think about this mate. Dangerfield, Pendles, Murphy, Selwood are all top 20 draft picks. They are all superstars. And they all had a breakout year in their 3rd year. Imagine, the Gold Coast have 4 out of their 20 or so top 50 draft picks over the last 2 years have breakout seasons. That is a Danger, Pendles, Selwood, Murphy and Gazza in the midfield. SCARY! Maybe they won’t be as good as them yet, but they will be in the close vercinity. Add Bock in def, Tippett in the fwd and players like Dixon and Day developing they are a scary prospect. 8-10 games.

Yes mate! He will be your #1 ruck next year and should average 90 odd, so if u have Berger (who should average 100-105) he is a great way 2 save $. And 800k means u can use about 400-500 of that elsewhere. 300k is pretty safe as far as being able to enter that team in Feb.

i am interested and like the idea of having Vardy as a second ruck behind berger to save the cash and upgrade elsewhere.

First time posting to this site. I appreciate reading everyone’s opinions and ideas. My team at this stage, for what it’s worth:

Backs:
Carrazzo, Heppell, Grimes, Gibbs, Bock, Dean Towers, Adam Carter, Sam Docherty, Sam Colquhoun

Mids:
Ablett, Mundy, Cotchin, Beams, Ball, Oliver Wines, Lachlan Whitfield, Jaeger O’Meara

Rucks:
Roughead, Leuenberger, Grundy, Witts

Forwards:
Franklin, Dangerfield, Bennell, Cox, Varcoe, Sam Mayes, Rory Atkins, Ben Kennedy, Joe Daniher

I love the midfield – good mix of quality, yet room for improvement. Roughhead, Cox and Daniher could all be DPP’s (R/F), giving plenty of ruck cover – set and forget. I predict Danger and Beams will continue where they left off, so I prefer to get them in from the start. Each line contains 1 player returning from 2012 LTI. Holding off Goddard until I see where he ends up – a new club might see him take a while to hit his straps – could be a good upgrade after a few rounds. I expect Malthouse to develop midfield depth as he did at Pies, so I expect Carrazzo to step up as he did pre-injury. Rookies named are just pencilled in, and could be changed for mature-agers as they come to light, though I like what I read about them in my research.

Feedback and opinions welcome :)

I think that Whitfield will be a little too expensive this year, so a better option would be Brad Crouch for Adelaide. You must have some serious $ left! My forward line smashes yours into the oblivion! Not saying its bad, just saying that you only need between 200-300k left to be sure of getting that team in Feb. do u use the Fanplanner? http://www.fanfooty.com.au/planteam.php
It is the ultimate tool for picking your team if u don’t. Anyway, I like your ruck, as u said, set and forget. Extra premium in both def and fwd is needed. Apart from that, with some work on your rookies, it is a nice team.

This is just a team I am tinkering with atm but this is subject to change depending on the rookies that come in. I am trying to focus on good players that were injured last season as their price will likely go up next year. I think leuenberger could be a gd ruck option but will depend on form. Given the Swans form I hope Mumford will be a better option. Also if Brisbane look good Leuenberger will be preferred over Ryder. Stanton is cheap but unreliable- I am hoping he can at least pull his price up by abt $200k

Defence: Goddard, Deledio, Heath Shaw, Michael Johnson, Sam Shaw, Thomas Bugg, Mark Whiley?
Emergencies: [Tim Golds?], [Luke Brown?]

Midfielders: Carazzo, Beams, Swan, Gibson, Nick Haynes?, Stanton?
Emergencies: Stephen Clifton? [?]

Ruck: Mumford, Ryder
Emergencies: Tom Campbell, Andrew Phillips?

Forwards: Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Monfries, Dell’Olio?, Nathan Wilson, Jackson Paine, Liam Patrick
Emergencies: Thomas Couch?, Alex Sexton

Comments would be appreciated

.I have made a few changes and came up with this.

BAC: B. Gibbs, G. Birchall, P. Hanley, J. Grimes, D. Heppell, N. Bock, S. Docherty ( J. Pittard, J. Toy )

MID: S. Pendlebury, J. Selwood, T. Cotchin, M. Murphy, B. Moloney, L. Ball ( J. O’ Meara, B. Crouch )

RUC: M. Leuenburger, B. Grundy ( M. Daw, J. Witts )

FWD: L. Franklin, T. Rockliff or N. Fyfe, H. Bennell, D. Zaharakis, R. Gray, T. Varcoe, M. LeCras ( J. Daniher, J. Stringer )

I haven’t gone with Ablett but I have chosen Pendebury instead.
That way I save a lot of money while I think Pendlebury will win the Brownlow.

I have gone with the strategy to make each position consistent with playes like Moloney who are a bit different. This will fill up my positions to not have many rookies.

Feedback would be really appreciated. A rating out of 10 would also be helpful.

Thanks.

Like you I’m looking to rely less on rookies and more on those returning from LTI’s and a poor 2012, but I’m holding back on high-priced players moving clubs until I see the club they end up at and their pre-season/NAB positions/roles and form eg Moloney and Goddard (I do have Byrnes pencilled in after his move from Cats to Dees because he’s cheap and will get games). There’s plenty of upside in the value of your team. As much as I like Selwood, I don’t think he shakes the tag as well as other premium mids. Murphy could be in the same boat, as Juddy doesn’t quite seem the danger player he once was IMO. With Ball back in the Pies’ midfield mix and the emergence of Beams, Pendles is a ‘wait and see’ potential upgrade for me as I already have other Pies players. That’s why I like Gaz – untagable and as a perma-captain the extra 30-40 points he gets you over the next-best captain selection justifies the price. Imagine duplicating Gaz’s score every week! You have no DPP link between mid and fwd, which is critical. Your team is similar to mine, which of course I like, and I can see the thinking behind many of your selections. I aint no expert, so I’m not criticising, only sharing some of my thoughts. It’s got the makings of a really nice team. 7.5/10

FWD: L. Franklin, M. Pavlich, H. Bennell, T. Cloke, A. Krakouer, M. LeCras, S. Byrnes (S. Mayes, J. Daniher)
CASH LEFT: $89,100

Midfield a bit light-on for class, but is easier to upgrade than other lines. Varcoe providing DPP link. I think a good mix of players returning from LTI’s and those with poor 2012. I expect Cloke and Mundy to return to 2011 levels. High % of players who should be selected in their respective club’s first 22, reducing reliance on rookies and saving trades. Potentially 14-15 keepers. Thoughts?

The money I save on ablett allows me to pick a gray/lecras as opposed to a rookie, with better job security and more pts scored. The captaincy will be rotated between Pendles, cotchin and murph who are all on their way to perma captain status. Ablett will be picked up later as he will surely drop at some stage. Also feel he will “only” average 130 next year (as opposed to the ~140 this year) as the gc midfield develops and takes points off him.

Watch waters carefully. Had surgery on an injured foot with a 10 week, which makes him a very risky pick. Better off picking shaw or birchall and look at waters as an upgrade target as he will have an injury interupted preseason and probably a slow start to the season

Rating out of 10 please! :)

I was hoping Luenburger would average 100-110 and Grundy to average 70-80. I think cloke will average 100.
Keeps do you think i should do:
Daw – Mumford/Nic Nat, Grundy to bench.
Sylvia – Menzal/Krakour?

i think leuenberger with any premium ruck is a top choice.
will mumford avg 100?? what about McEvoy?? can he avg around the 100 mark too??

few to choose from to team up with Leuenberger and grundy as a back up is a solid idea.

i went with nicnat/l’berger and grundy/witts as my back ups, but im maybe thinking of switching NicNat to McEvoy.

Mummy will absolutely smash it next year. His final few games show how good a player he is when injury free. I reckon he’ll go back to his 2011 average of 110ppg

At Mumfords price it is hard not to pick him.

Mid: 9/10
Ruc: 6/10
Fwd: 8/10
Overall: 8/10
I like the team overall, the balance is close to perfect. The ruck is obviously weak, but I class Leuenberger as a keeper and Vardy as a round 8-10 upgrade target who should avg 80-85.

What do we all think of Pedersen? Just took Cloke out of. My team for Stringer and brought in Pedersen for Toy as he is said to have a heart problem limiting him to a ‘burst’ role for the rest of his career, not good for Supercoach. I may upgrade Vardy to Mumford now…

if Pederson goes to Melbourne, i think he could average around the 80 mark. He can play any position which is good. And more game time at Melbourne and Cheap!
He is named in my team

Who do you think is the worst pick out of Brad Crouch, Jaeger O’Meara and Jack Viney? And also what are some good rookies for my forward line?

As far as worst goes I don’t think there will be a ‘worst’. I believe if you are looking at getting 2 of them, get O’Meara and Viney as they will get the most game time. At the same time, I have all 3 now that Viney will be cheaper due to be taken at a lower draft pick. All will average 80-90 I believe. But maybe not…

New Team:
Def: Goddard, Gibbs, Birchall, Grimes, Heppell, Bock, Pedersen, (Pittard, Docherty)
Mid: Ablett, Cotchin, Fyfe, Mundy, Varcoe, O’Meara, (Viney, Crouch)
Ruc: Mumford, Leuenberger, (Daniher, Daw)
Fwd: Franklin, Bennell, Hawkins, Zaharakis, Gray, LeCras, Stringer, (Rowe, Macaffer)
I have come to the resolution that Fyfe should average 120 next year. It’s his fourth year, generally the breakout year, and he has already had 2 years as a gun SC player. Mumfords price was too good to refuse. Cloke out to free up some $ and Stringer provides a fwd/mid link with Varcoe. Pedersen in for Toy as Toy has been diagnosed with a heart condition affecting his tank. Rating out of ten for each and overall please!

180k on fanplanner, after m0nty’s 1st update, which is very tight. But think of it this way, all have to do is drop Stringers top 7-8 draft pick price for Brad Dick or someone like that, and bang! I should be safe. As I said earlier, 300k is safe, but 200k is pushing it.

Popey, Your team has too much really expensive players. e.g Ablett and Cotchin and Mumford are too expensive. And just one more thing , Gary Ablett sucks my balls every night at 10 o’clock 201 Chicken pie street in North Africa. Want to join me and Gazza.

Neither. I’ve had both in past teams, including Fyfe last season, but both now have dodgy bodies. It’s hard enough to keep premium players on the park without selecting those with a higher risk of re-injury. Even though they could average 115+, and might be a bit cheaper, I’m looking elsewhere for players of similar scoring potential but also with higher likelihood of playing every game.

Overrall not bad but wouldn’t have Goddard as a prem mid, and probably not have Tippet in FWDs, bit injury prone. Maybe upgrade Grimes or Broughton, just some ideas.
