  1. Looking at some of these stats, the Sydney defence are not getting many kick ins with the teams they’ve played. I wonder how Blakey or Lloyd would go if they conceded 10+ behinds.
Short didn’t get much of the kick ins for his game with a large spread of players and Vlastuin returning for his first game of the year.

For CBAs Adelaide and Freo only play 4 midfielders so I wonder what the impact Fyfe will cause when he returns, but that is still a few weeks away.
For Adelaide, Sloane is out for the year but Seedsman is still yet to play a game. It is unclear when he will return, but will that affect scoring for Keays and Laird who started the season quite well

I see Rowell is getting a lot of CBAs but not getting the ball and scoring poorly, so it looks like it is goodbye to him

  2. Seriously considering De Goey seeing his CBA.. thoughts?
Discounted price and could get on that 105-110 avg..

  3. Interesting the Cba as the heat in that area suits some burst explosive type players more than others, and it is a definite skill to go with the efficiency rate with disposal ( captain obvious ) but like with Rowell, he is being asked to do all the heavy lifting and without Greenwood it is way to much for a 20 odd game lad to sustain – let alone supercoach scoring so it looks like he has to go because Stuey has no other options -so it seems.
    Poor kid needs help !

  4. Thanks again for all the awesome articles and information!!

It is pretty obvious that playing on at kick ins impact a defenders SC score significantly.

And this is Jayden Short’s 5 week history with kick ins:

    Round 1 vs Carlton – 12 kick ins – scored 109 points
    Round 2 vs GWS – 10 kick ins – scored 136 points
    Round 3 vs St K – 5 kick ins – scored 110 points
    Round 4 vs WB – 9 kick ins – scored 111 points
    Round 5 vs Adel – 2 kick ins – scored 56 points

As an owner, I am hoping that last week was an anomaly – and that Short gets back to taking at least 6 or 7 kick ins in the coming weeks 🙂 🙂
