Congrats on the new job motts, working at 2 afl sides at the same time is always difficult.

Why do you think The Movers are so abbreviated this week.

Sorry Max, neither will be getting a run this week. Don’t wait for the teams to be announced – trade ‘em out now*

* That’s just a joke, Max.

I think Stratton has got Schoenmakers spot in the Hawthorn side at the moment?

Does anyone know what’s wrong with Shuey?? He’s been warming my bench since the start of the season and now he’s out indefinitely with a virus?!

Mild Glandular Fever (club release) although that sounds like an oxymoron as GF makes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome feel like a sniffle (personal experience and medical advice.)
I’ve kept him as well thinking he’ll be back after the break however listening to Woosha’s comments re: Kerry’s comeback tonight, I am convinced the cue has been placed firmly back in the rack for my boys this year.
Outcome: Shuey kept in cotton wool for big pre-season.

Thanks Deano – that news hadn’t reached the northern hemisphere yet. If GF is involved, I doubt he’ll be back…

Only teasing – btw how many times did you vote for Gibbs to get the percentage close to 50?
PA assures me he only had one crack at the Coondawg (although I might have taken that out of context!)

Roo Bloke June 8, 2010 at 10:30 pm

Didak vs Pav ….

Have both but The Pav 1000 times out of 1000 for me.

I have had the backline troubles of late all started with picking up Houli who’s not getting a game even though he’s in great form, then Kennelly gets injured and Hams gets deisted so i picked up Heath for Hams, Heath and Schmidt both get dropped so I trade schmidt for McGrath, who gets injured and so does Maguire, only trade that has worked was Houli for Webberly last week touch wood
McGrath out 6 weeks
Maguire out 4 weeks
Kennelly Test
Heath Dud
NOW I DON’T KNOW WHICH WAY TO TURN

Clearly this is keeping you up at night, kyles. Give us your existing backline, how many trades you have left, and how much is in the bank.

u probably should get gysbert and then upgrade a back(Webberly Davis) to a quality fwd/bck dpp.(Waite, Grundy)
with your very strong fwd line u could at some point (up to u), free up cash by d/grading one of them to a very cheap dpp like weston to allow u to swing your dpp fwd and back
maguire and kennelly should get back on the park soon as will hille
result is depth and flexibility to help with your lack of trades
