Motts’ Movers – R13

Backs
Couple of cheap options for you here. And I couldn’t go without mentioning a Rolls Royce too:

  • Greg Broughton ($302,900, 89.40) – the kid has improved every game since he started culminating in a 119 against Stevie J last week. Can proudly say I’ve had him since Day 1.
  • Nathan Grima ($234,300, 78.00) – Got this fella in early too. In 4 games he’s managed a 92 as well as last week’s 113.
  • Paul Duffield ($582,200, 106.27) – I hesitated on putting this guy in this week given he’s playing the Pies at the MCG on Saturday arvo but I watched last week and he was magnificent and his numbers don’t lie. Has already notched up scores of 175, 163, 150 and 128 this year.

Mids

  • Brent Prismall ($427,300, 75.50) – Was more than decent whenever he got a game in the Geelong midfield last year and scores of 58 & 93 in his first games with the Dons suggest he hasn’t lost too much after returning from a knee op. Get on him before his price goes up.
  • Andy Otten ($406,200, 85.50) – Has the boat sailed on AO? His 122 last week suggests it hasn’t.
  • Luke Power ($480,900, 98.00) – How’s his recent form? Scores of 162, 106 and 105 over the last 3 rounds. Hasn’t missed a game all year and is solid as a rock. Cheap at this price.

Rucks
Big Cox in a little bit of doubt this week. Who ya gonna call?

  • Hamish McIntosh ($454,800, 101.42) – Returned to form last week after (by his standards) a few ordinary performances. Takes on a the relatively small Footscray outfit this week.
  • Nick Naitanui ($169,200, 39.00) – ok so his first game wasn’t mind-blowing but the kid showed he’s got massive potential and at this price is cheap cheap cheap.

Forwards

  • Alad Didak ($484,000, 100.29) – As much as I hate Dids you can’t argue with his last 2 outings – 158 and 147.
  • Ryan O’Keefe ($582,200, 103.17) – White hot right now after tons in his last 6 matches and 151, 139 and 138 over his last 3. Not exactly a bargain though.
  • Scott Lucas ($350,800, 70.75) – Is he back? It’s hard to say but 135 and 119 over his last 2 would suggest so. And it this price he’s a good mid-priced option.

I cant afford to waste a trade on Cox mate, so i may well have to wear the 0 …. my hopes are riding on Sellar getting a game … pffff, not much chance.

Picked up Greg Broughton a few weeks back …. nice find mate.

Will be back to assess tomorrow when the first cut of the teams are out.

People are probably wondering how my team did last week. Just a lazy 3,500 for the boys which got me within the Top 750 for the week. Well done Mottsy.

Well found. I daresay that it is nigh on impossible to score 3,500 in this competition so I hereby announce to the world that this was a typo. Please don’t think that if you don’t get 3,500 in this comp that you’re a dunce.
