Premiums
Heath Shaw ($533,800, 107, 103) – Been rolling along beautifully with 4 tons in his last 4 outings. Projected to raise his bat in his next 5 as well. If you’ve got the cash and need a backline upgrade, put your money on H Shaw.
Brett Deledio ($544,900, 115.94, 122) – You’ve no doubt already got him but if you don’t, this is pretty much as cheap as he’s been all year and in the next 2 weeks he faces Brisbane and The Dogs. 6 90+ scores in a row.
Andrew Carrazzo ($506,700, 101.2, 93) – Its like he never went away. Since coming back in R12, he’ scored 132, 98, 108, 118, 97, and 125. One of those rare players that can shut you down while getting a ton of it himself. Clarke to Carrazzo was one of the best trades I’ve made this year.
Midpricers
Luke McPharlin ($423,000, 81.65, 22) – Let’s be honest: he has some issues chasing down chunky forwards on the burst from the centre square. But when taking on teams such as Melbourne, GWS and Port, he takes full advantage scoring 94, 127 and 112 respectively. West Coast, Adelaide and Richmond up next.
Jack Grimes ($407,900, 83, 31) – Starting to reward all those who picked him up when he was worth about $350k and averaging 79. Over the last few he’s gone 83, 138 and 83. It’s a good time to pick him up: Gold Coast and GWS make up 2 of his next 3 opponents.
Alex Rance ($398,100, 88.29, 69) – Its your last chance to pick up Rance at under $400k. With a BE of 69 there’s very little doubt he’ll shoot back up in the 4’s again next week. After a small period of crapness his scores have started to improve again. Over the last 3 he’s gone for 91 (v Gold Coast), 96 (v North), and 81 (v Carlton).
Value Picks
Tom Bell ($104,700, 84, -105) – Mottsy’s downgrade target for the week. Has only played 2 games for Carlton but is doing so well he just may keep his spot. Scored 75 against the Dogs and then backed that up with a 93 against The Tiges. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxOieVQFpCU They don’t write ‘em like that any more. Thank God.
Mark Baguley ($164,200, 73, -38) – Actually improved his job security with a handy 83 against The Hawks last Friday night. Tale jos average to 73 over 3 games. If you’re gonna get him, don’t waste another minute.
Sam Frost ($130,700, 65.5, -50) – On the bubble this week after a 72 and a 59. T Bell my preference though – cheaper and scoring better.

While i’m loving his work down back and he’s one of only six defenders to have an average over 100 his scores over the last five rounds aren’t Motts Movers worthy
Rnd 14 – 86
Rnd 15 & 16 – injured
Rnd 17 – 87
Rnd 18 – 146

Beau Waters ($493 200) 2nd game back from a minor knee injury scored 146. Although has missed 3 games, a premium average of 102 is impressive. 3 of last 5 games are at pattersons where he has scored 5 of his 7 tons. Has already this season tonned up against 3 of his next 5 opponents. Has a b/e of 76.

Definitely rating the guy but i’m just saying it’s his first ton since Rnd 13. Plus look at the draw WC has remaining.
The derby, Geelong, Port (a), Collingwood and Hawthorn (a).
The three tough games against the other top 5 teams are the three big weeks of SC finals with the cuishy game in the week when the good SC teams are aiming to have a bye after a qualifying final win.
Food for thought that the WC SC finals run is difficult.

I’m in the same situation.. On top of the ladder but have 97k in the bank. Tossing up if I should get Hurn or Fisher for him or not.

Can anyone help me decide on what to do with Burgoyne? He’s driving me insane! I have 3 trades and roughly $100,000 left.
T/U- Keep him, he’ll come good.
T/D- Trade him for Grimes/Rance/Duffield
Cheers boys.

Put him as emergency on the mids bench via the ‘switch’ when trading out a mid’s patsy. If you have Lids, Godd, Carrots or Scotland he will be a handy mids emergency + defensive cover incase one of the listed prem DPP def / mid. go down for a game.

Thinking hard about using 1 of last three trades replacing Dempsy with Tom Bell, loving the way he goes about it, strong body, strong in the contest, strong tackling machine. If he continues to play as he has in his first 2 games he’s going to be very hard to drop when the senior midfield returns. I think he’ll average more than Dempsey. I like the boy.
T/U do it

Dempsey does not fill me with confidence, especially coming into finals. Therefore if Tom Bell will be bench cover & your extra 200K in the bank (just guessing) will mean straight up-grades with 2 remaining trades then good call.
