Motts Movers R19, 2012 – The Backs

by Motts on August 6, 2012

I’m on assignment in sunny Sydney for the next couple of days so I’m going to need your help again to compile some of the Movers this week.

Lets start with the Backs. Who have been the standouts in the Premium, Midpricer, and Value categories over the last few weeks?

Deledio averaging 125 over the last 4 rounds with 139, 91, 125 & 144. Peaking at the right time $552,300 with a BE of 79 Bargain!

Hell yeah. I reckon he’ll break 650k at least.

He might be a pure midfielder!

Think he will warrant a spot in my midfield next year…could even be a POD if he is a midfield only!

Premiums:
Brett Deledio: Last week ‘Lids’ compiled a 122, and he’s followed it up with a lazy 144. At 552k, he’s a bargain, and this opportunity shouldn’t be missed.
Brendon Goddard: Seems to be back after a 127 then a 122, the Saints have a relatively easy run home, and 445k is as cheap as they come. If you don’t have him, get him now.
Beau Waters: A 146 then 108 sees ‘Big Beau’ get back to his best. BE of 66, so he will rise in price from his current 506k.

Midpricers:
Sam Fisher: 3 Round Average of 97.7, and a price of 387k. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it! BE of 45, so his price will rise, and he has quite an easy run home.

Rookies;
Sam Frost: A score of 92 and an average of 74.3 sees ‘Frosty the Snowman’ of GWS be one of the best rookie options this week

Tom Bell: The Baggers ‘Big Bell’ scored 51, and laid 7 tackles with 16 important disposals. His JS looks very good to me too.

Please let me know if I’ve forgotten anyone
Thanks :-)

What’s with the thumbs down? Its a good write up. Just coz cazza can be a little annoying sometimes doesn’t mean when he writes something decent and insightful you should give it crap.

Hello everyone,

I have 3 trades left, with 180k. Finished in top 4 of all my leagues, so now is the time to upgrade.

The players i have left to upgrade are Ellis, S.Shaw and Giles.

My idea is Ellis – Fisher, keep some cash for next week.

or

Ellis – Scotland, no cash. which would mean i have to keep either S.Shaw or Giles for the season.Any advice on what i should do?

Thanks Gents

Alex Rance, Shannon Hurn, Matt Suckling, Michael Johnson, Dustin Fletcher and Dyson Heppell for mid-pricers?

Thumbs up: Scotland
Thumbs down: Waters

I will be bringing either one of them in this week to complete my back line, but I’m not too sure which one to pick!
