Paddy Ryder ($523,200, 112.22, 97) – Now his contract’s signed look for a drop off in performance. Similar to people who work out right up until their wedding day.

Todd Goldstein ($458,000, 85.86, 26) – Playing in the ruck solo has brought his confidence back and consequently his scores are sky high again. 153 if you don’t mind against the Lions last week. Ooooph.
Jonathon Giles ($447,900, 95.89, 80) – Reminded us he’s still the SCROTY with another 90+ score on the weekend. I am seriously thinking about keeping him on past the Giants’ bye in R11.
Value Picks
Josh Jenkins ($185,900, 78, -46) – After a stellar first 2 weeks he only managed to scrape together a 58 against the Pies. Just by walking onto the field next week he’ll go up in price again but I’d look elsewhere for a rookie downgrade target.
Mike Pyke ($210,300, 101.50, -80) – Even though he has now scored 95 and 108 in his only 2 games for the year I maintain that Mike Pyke is a hack and will write my next Ruck Movers naked if he cracks the ton again this week against The Dogs.

Depends if you are wearing a donut and have the cash and trade to burn. I got rid of redden for longer weeks ago when natanui was injured. It got me over the line that week. Makes sense if you need the win if you are chasing the 8. If you are sitting comfortably dont bother.

Thoughts on trading in H Mac for Maric?
Been holding on to H Mac thinking it was a one-game injury but Scott said earlier today he’ll miss this week as well. That’ll be 4-5 weeks without him with the bye included. Maric also helps with my BYE coverage being a Rd 13er.

h-mac on the pine is $$$$ going to waste imo…i have kept him for this long but the only option is an upgrade…no real downgrade target unless your forfeit a spot in your ruck division (ie grab a 94k ruckman who wont play) and use the money elswhere

I was thinking of downgrading a ruck to Pattison and upgrading a fwd for roughead, which would help for that round alone. Not sure on the long term effect though yet.

I grabbed roughy 4 or 5 weeks ago with that exact plan in mind. Was kind of hoping Redden could get himself up to at least 200k in the meantime though. Pattison will be dead weight after that but with Orren getting games and looking like he might have jumped past West he will be back up enough for mine.

The DPP route is a good one. I already had Hale & went Hamling? from Geelong as i reckon they may introduce a few kids later in the season.
I will consider adding Roughie into the forwards after his bye, however will depend on whether the Hawks main ruckmen has returned.

Doesn’t make it necessarily a bad idea. With a ruck department, for example, of Cox, Giles, Stephensen & Redden bringing the Mullet in gives you Mullet and Stephenson for RD11, Mullet & Cox for RD12 and Cox & Stephenson for RD13. Sounds like good coverage to me.

Reminds me of that joke about why the bride is smiling as she walks up the aisle on her wedding day. Maric has beeb gold in a year where the rucks have gone badly for me. Mummy, 211 & Kruise have (dis) graced my team this year. If I grabbed Maric he would get injured, suspended, a positive drug test, a lockdown role or soundly beaten down to a rubbish score every week until I got rid of him. Then he’d peel off a ton. That said, I really like Goldstein & am considering contacting his management about a trade.
