PlayON – Saturday $2000

Written by Schwarzwalder on May 4 2018

As always, PlayON have a number of promotions for the weekend for our SCT Coaches to enjoy.  If you’re new to PlayON, you can take advantage of their latest offer.  With a first deposit of $20, you’ll receive free entry into an extra $20 game (basically a 2-for-1 offer).   The PlayON scoring system is quite simple to follow.  Where Supercoach becomes over-complicated with efficiency of disposal and so forth, PlayON rewards basic posessions, marks, tackles and goals.  PlayON are giving you the chance to play for a guaranteed $2000 prize pool on Saturday.  Here’s a quick overview of the games involved……….

WBD vs GCS – Won’t be a blockbuster clash but there might just be some value picks to be had.  Expecting the Doggies to get over the line here.

ESS vs HAW – The Bombers just haven’t lived up to the pre-season hype.  That Rd1 win against the Crows seems an eternity away now.  The Hawks should continue their slump in this traditional clash.

WCE vs PTA – One of the matches of the Round, a clash between two potential Top4 contenders.  One thing’s for sure, it’ll be close.  I’m tipping Port to get up in a big finish.

SYD vs NTH – The Shinboners aren’t as bad as predicted in 2018 and they’ll give Sydney a run for their money.  The Swans……just.

ADE vs CAR – I got a bad feeling about this one.  What feels like fifteen years into their re-build and still treading water, this could get real ugly for the Blues in a hurry.

The following players should go a long way to helping you secure that cash……….

Rory Laird (ADE, DEF, $16.1M) – Absolutely smashing it this year off the half-back line for the Crows.  Is going to run rampant over the Blues on Saturday night.

Kobe Mutch (ESS, MID, $5.9M) – Bombers yongster who showed a little bit on debut.  Prepared to back him in for another week at that price.

Nick Holman (GCS, MID, $5.9M) – Has provided us with some highlights over the past few weeks in PlayON.  Should score enough against the Dogs to justify selection again.

Good luck, Coaches!
