I struggled to make 2000 this week, falling short by 30 odd, and therefore got a belting in both our leagues ….. I MUST DO BETTER.

Kareem has done just that and BAKED_OUR_ASS to get himself in the top possie …. good stuff Kareem.
I’ll have to make a few trades this week to strengthen a weak forward line … It’s lucky i have a few bucks in the bank as my trade in on Dangerfield won’t get me a great deal.

Richo will have to update you on the Girl’s League mate but it is my pleasure to announce that the League of Extraordinary Coaches improved their ranking again this week! We’re now 87th.
This was no doubt due to the MASSIVE score achieved by Joey (“Knox Industries”) who belted his way to 2,462. His opponent this week, kb, didn’t know what hit him and would have been very disappointed to score 2,255 and still lose.
Bobcat would hate me if I didn’t mention his 2,379 which has lifted his average to 2,121. tappy, Brett and Grimmo remain under the magical 2100 average. Grimmo, with the imaginatively titled team name, Yukan Farkov, even remains under a 2000 average bringing into question how he ever thought he could compete in this League in the first place.
At the top of the ladder sits Brad and the Sneaky Russians. He’s had a couple of easy ones to kick off the season though – Joey will test him this week.
My team, The Maulers, got done by a painful 22 points on the weekend by Stevo’s Jetz. His boys now have the highest average in the league – 2,218. I’m averaging a paltry 2,187. The league average is 2,139.

Bash the sledge up your clacker Motts. I am having a red hot crack but just cant get the boys firing all at the one time. If I see Goodwin, The Rat Medhurst, Big Jonno Brown or Cyril in the street anytime soon…POW right in the kisser. For that matter you might get a touch up as well mate if you keep it up. I admit that I am dragging the league down but it aint froma lack of trying…I will turn it around and I will be a genuine contributor. Stay tuned. Be a little embarrassing if I knocked you off in our match up later in the year, wouldnt it?

Good job on the sledge Mottsy, you have to keep them honest and on their toes… I’d be the first one looking to get a Jet (so to speak) up me if I was under performing. Keep working hard Grimmo it’ll come together.
It is good to see the league on the positive incline though lets hope it continues, there is going to be some cracker jack matches in the coming weeks etc.

C’mon Grimmo.. ….most of us in that league have at least 2 or 3 underperformers……. but still getting a high 2100′s av…….. Personally I have…Goody, Dangerfield, Meds, Browny and bloody Mitchell… ( and Buddy boy has made life a juggle too..!!!!)
We are ALL on the way up mate…….. but you have to wear the hat Mottsy has given you…. because it looks like it fits bloke……
Hope you pull out a couple of 2500′s…….. will scoot us in to the top 50 leagues……..!!!!!

look its been a turbulent start to the year for Tappy’s Topguns. some of his new recruits have been duds, and his trades have been dismal. but all is not lost, its a long season and I’m just going to keep burning these trades in an effort to get back in the game, I’m not gonna sit back and watch my team crumble. Ablett will come into my side this week, a big inclusion who will guide Tappy’s Topguns to glory in the L.O.E.F. Buckle up and enjoy the ride boys!

guys, i need some advice. ive used up 2 trades so far, and im averaging 2210. I want a massive score (as everyone does) to boost up my rankings (currently in top 5,000) , but Ziebell is holding me up. I’m thinking of doing a double trade to get in Goodes for Ziebell. I’m think of:
OUT- Alex Silvagni
IN- Phil Davis
OUT- Jack Ziebell
IN- Adam Goodes
Silvagni is currently my 2nd bench player, so i won’t be losing out on points there, and i will be upgrading ziebel to a premium. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

hmm didak over goodes? im a pies man but i reckon goodes is way more reliable…he can turn on a game of 150+ easily, just look at last year…the thing about didak that worries me is when teams tag him out of the game- i cant afford that with a premium…

Tend to agree with Cam on this one, Goodsey can turn on a massive one like a tap having said that I have feeling that Didak is working nicely into the season and his scores/average are only going to rise from here on in.

I reckon you made some damn good pre-season decisions if you’ve only used 2 trades thus far. On top of which, you’re in the top 5000. Having said that, any advice I give would be (either consciously or subconsciously) misleading and to your complete and utter detriment . . . cos I’m jealous.
Oh, but if you really want my advice – upgrade Ziebell to Riewoldt.

Save the trades. If JZ is that bad, then just upgrade him and use the dosh you have.

hey guys,
since i have only used 2 trades so far this season i’m thinking of doing a three way trade over the next two rounds.
i will trade rioli for P.Davis then selwood for Judd, this will give me the chance to upgrade medhurst next round to any premium since i’ll have 639,600 in the bank.
So in the end it will be like trading out Selwood, Medhurst and Rioli for Judd, Davis and either Pavlich or Didak as the premium.
ok i’m experimenting a bit here but in the end i think it will pay off and i’d like to catch Judd and Phil Davis before their price rise
i’m only trading out Selwood because hes just not doing enough for his price and his break even this week is like 150 something, so hes going to drop in price even more and as for rioli hes struggling, and medhurst well hes just not consistent and will probably stay around the 60-70 average all year.
after the three trades my team will look like this
Def- Goddard, Hodge, Malceski, Enright, Waters, Hunt, Ladson
Mid- Ablett(C), Judd(VC), Barlow, Swan, NDS, Martin
Ruck- Sandilands, Naitanui
Fwd- Chapman, ROK, JB, (Pavlich or Didak), Higgins, Ziebell, P.Davis (may supstitute Pods in if Davis dosent perform)
any thoughts/suggestions on the trades?
