Has to be the Eagles playing ducks and drakes, my guess will be mcinnes a late in,I just can’t get my head around that he has been carrying a knee for most of the season and they decide to try and get him right before the finals by having a scrape out.they go to all that trouble and then pick him after one week, doesn’t make sense

Or as Juddy said, ‘it was just glancing contact…. Annnnd I’m Juddy and after number 3′…. Apparently, that defense worked with an elbow to Pav and when he ripped out a Hawks eyeball…. Not to mention pressure points.

I know – harsh…. But the guy is a champion of the game and has no need, and just shouldn’t do that stuff.

Ryder probably another 3 weeks.
Franklin I’d say back in a fortnight.
Shaw & Coniglio I think have smaller injuries and should be back next week.
I though Redden was unlucky to be dropped, so I think Port will be pushing to get a few wins before the end of the season. He might get a game.
Crozier had a illness or something.

Decided I’m going to hold fire this week despite trading tempting me. Left with:
3 trades in SCTTL ($123k in the bank). Copping a donut in Mohr.
and
5 in my team ($174k in the bank) no holes as yet, and better bench cover. Have a feeling Dal may not play so I’ve put the green vest on Sam Gibson.

If Ellis plays i should avoid doughnuts. However NDS a chance for late withdrawal so a mid E would be handy. Should get top 4 spot in main league.

Got 5 trades & 100K with team of starting prems (except for S. Shaw & Zorko) With Sexton non-playing piney at $ 156,200 he is simply a DPP switch man.

Thumbs UP: Trade Sexton to Couch now for mid / forw cover + extra 60K
Thumbs DOWN: Keep trade & Sex, up-grade A.Kennedy, T.Adams, Ellis & potentially handy DPP Smedts in future weeks.

Anyone else thinking of turning Sexton or other injured cheapy into rookie?
I’m still keen to get a couple of Goodes, Fyfe & Buddy in for finals when they bottom out.

Have officially lost what little faith I had left in Primus, Dropping Redden who most would say earnt his spot, and giving Pittard a game over a fit Rodan has broken my will.

Been said before and I’ll say it again, Ruckmen cannot coach. Not very often you want your team to lose but fingers crossed Melbourne bury us, we fuck Primus off and Buddah gets the gig for the rest of the year. then get an outside influence.

Really disheartened in the way the list has been handled this year.

If getting the most of a players potential is compared to squeezing the last drop of a lemon , then most Port players wouldnt even have a bruise on them.I have it on good authority , that some players from that club biggest complaint is that there is no communication from Primus or the coaching staff, when they get selected, their not given any idea of what their role is and when they get dropped, they have no idea why and have no idea on what they should be working on to improve their game.If I were other clubs I would be looking at their delisted players very closely because their potential has not even come close to being tapped ! Lots of jewels in the rough there.

MJ, after looking at your team you have the prolific chance to really cause havoc, if you make it into the top 8 IMO. I think it’s worth trading but if Newman, Fisher or Rance are your best options I’m not sure of the best option…..Fisher last week was given a role & although he did that role well he’s return in SC points were shocking, as for the other 2… I personally think it’s a lucky dip to what they may give you!

Saints at the SCG……Fisher may get the role on S Reid, who is just recently starting to present after a interupted pre-season & slow start….this may again affect Fisher’s scoring as he’ll be given a role

Tigers at the “G”, I think the Kangers will have it in there forward line a resonable amount, so the Tigers defence will see plenty of the pill giving Rance & Newman ample opportunity to score well! Rance may get the job on big Petrie so Newman may be the best option to get you your best points this week-end.

As I know you to be quite diligent in your research, I know you will look into the balance of the year for potential for these 3 options you speak of to cover Broughton!

Cheers for the rundown Catta. I’ve also been toying with the idea of a Redden > Derrickx to allow Broughton > H.Shaw, but it would leave me in the precarious position of 1 trade left.

I also think Newman is the best option for a straight swap Broughton trade, as Fisher will continue to play those lockdown roles until Blake is back in a few weeks.

Hate sideways trading, but the 80-100 points Newman should knock up, could be the difference between making finals in LoEC1 or not.

Was lucky enough to hold out on trading Waters till today and was greeted with the news that he is in this week. With Maric also in my team i am becoming increasingly concerned about the likelyhood of the both of them performing badly in the short term. I have 5 trades and 300k and am considering trading one of them if they are going to perform badly and loose value, and surely if i am going to trade this week is the week to do it. Trading sideways goes against my usual buy/sell rookie/premium strategy but this is sort of an exception. Your feedback would be much appreciated as always.
