  1. Please Supercoach Gods – send me some love tonight with a 120+ score from Dawson, who I have frustratingly kept in my team as I refuse to suffer a $130K loss on him. I need some luck after bringing in Steele this week, and not starting with Heeney or Serong, and trading out Hayden Young in R3….

Wanting a decent game to watch and not the demolition like last night.

    1. Seriously when will coaches make the hard decision on some players. Sorry Matt Crouch but you are just using up space and time from the Crows most damaging player by taking all the centre time and he for some reason is sacrificing role so you can have 30 touches every week without hurting opposition…..

Look what happened when they got Dawson back on ball second quarter.

If Crouch was out for the year I would pick Dawson up cheap in a heartbeat

  3. Dawson. I think it was confidence all along. Went from being a fumbly hack to the cleanest player in the comp again in 1 quarter. Probably underscored too along with Merrett just on impact.

    1. No tag – He commented in post game that he went and played a bit more fwd in second half, hopefully that trend doesn’t continue!

  4. How much coaches traded out Dawson this week I’m wondering? They’d all be feeling like I did after H Young started throwing out 100’s.

    1. I was pretty close but figured he’d already dropped too much, and I also got burned by trading Young out. Now hopefully, Crouch stays put of the side so Dawson can get going again.

  5. Feeling I might have to pull the trigger on mckercher/howes -> biggy early to open up funds for next week’s upgrades to fallen premiums and rookies, a few about.

How good was Dawson tonight. Hopefully crouch doesn’t get back in if that’s how Dawson plays – non Dawson owner here.

  6. BIG win. Obvious conversion issues but Bombers should be proud. Jam, Wighty, Bomber, B123, congrats.

    1. Can’t question effort and endeavour and that’s all we have been asking for years now. Very proud of the boys this year.
Accuracy been on our side all year this year and went against us last night, so to eke out the win was brilliant.
I had us 1 and 5 across the first 6 games when I looked at the schedule so to be 4 and 2 is an enormous start to the year.

  7. Nice that Dawson gets some credit, I’ve never decided to trade him but its been hard to resist but I knew this day would come.

And now if the AFL could just find the umpires school and see if they can find at least one rule book to supply the maggots with it would be good.

I know, Crows supporter whinge and I’ll probs get TD for this but how can Draper leap on the ball and lie there holding it down and not have free against ?????

    1. Well Tex dragged it back in which does help Draper’s case.
I feel this counteracts the call at the end of the first half for holding the ball. Adelaide had a shot on goal and missed

      1. Not sure whether your streaming Service buffers too much to get a good view Nato but Draper clearly rolled onto the ball, reached and flicked to himself, Tex saw it and jumped on and waited for the inevitable whistle which these maggots are too afraid to blow in tight games.

        1. I didn’t say it was a correct call. Tex did help to try and pin it in, doesn’t mean it is enough to not call it though.
There was a lot of uproar at the end of the first half with a htb tackle that was paid. Apparently no one cares about that now. Both controversial calls

        1. Amazing how our perspective changes Bomber, based on the colour in our one eyed support. Not one player even touched Draper, in fact the nearest was a Bomber (Laverde) who ran from behind as he laid on the ball, and finished up at the front of the pack before Hobbs tried to hide the incident by diving on the pack because he could actually see Draper making zero attempt to get it out.

Regardless of when and where, free kicks that are obvious should be paid, and I know a lot even themselves out, but just give us consistency. Umpires are a a pathetic representation of consistency and have never been more responsible for influencing than at present.
