  2. Make or break time folks.

    Can you smell it?

This next 24 hours could make or break your SuperCoach season.

    To quote the great Kenny Rodgers ;

“You’ve got to know when to hold ’em, Know when to fold ’em. when the dealings done.”

    Let the games begin!

“Don’t you count your money, when your sitting at the table”…..

      1. Hopper could take midfield time away from Taranto, but the loss of Langdon could also mean they want him to play forward more than mid.

    1. I’m hating myself for picking him because he ALWAYS misses games.

But this is an unexpected reason.

On average he will be a top 4 forward. On total points he might not be, but so long as you have a 60-70 point rookie backing him up you will be ok.

        1. Ive been one of Scotts biggest critics as a Geelong fan. But his still a shit load better than bloody Buckley thats for sure!

BUT STANLEY! COME ON MAN! WTF has Smith done to deserve dropping in the first place. At least smith can tap the ball to one of our 3 beasts! Having stanley is just stupidity. Danger, Ablett, Selwood now just have to try and rove from nic nat! ffs

  3. No carnage for me this week
Sicily out , which I knew I was going to cop, I have him in defence so with all the good rooks I will be fine
Only tiny problem is with my FWDS
I now have both Fogarty and Giles-Langdon (Injury) on the bench
Do I keep both as a loophole and trade out when needed and hope for them to come back in.
Or do I trade one for say a L. Ryan, Waterman, ETC

    So my question is

T/U: Keep both and hope for Fogarty to be recalled soon
    Or
T/D: Trade 1 and get in a bubble boy (Ryan, Waterman)

    2

  4. With langdon injured would Higgins (Richmond) be worth a look ?
Had him in my team all are season but didn’t make the cut after not being named round 1

    Thumbs up trade
Thumbs down give it a couple games

    1. If you are ditching Langdon you want it to be someone on the bubble this week.

That means players like Fritsch, Waterman, Ryan, Fisher.

      3

      2
  5. With coffield and higgins named prob worth holding onto underperforming rookies like naughton for a week or 2 if u have the big 4 rookies already

  6. Is it worth trading ZG Langdon to Ryan to ensure early cash generation?

No other major issues to deal with bar Hibberd, but will at least hold him until I have a larger sample size

    15

  7. Since it has been decided that I should trade a non playing rookie who should it be
Fogarty has been dropped but could have a quicker return
Or Giles-Langdon injury (Up to a month I believe)but the seem to love him so he will get games
So who do I trade out

    T/U: Giles-Langdon

    T/D: Fogarty

    9

    30
    1. Fisher was a certain in for my team anyway. He looked ok in patches as a rookie in a much weaker carlton team.

      2

      2
  8. Last one which rookie
Ryan is a little small forward who will be up and down can’t trust him on the field but see,s to have good job security

Waterman- tall forward but might be a bit more consistent in the 60-70s unlike Ryan who will drop a 40

    T/U- Waterman
    T/D- L.Ryan

    5

    16
    1. For me I think if he’s going to be on field Waterman. As a cash cow or if you can loophole him Ryan.

Ryan will have as many 30’s as big games.

      1

      1
  9. Toby Greene out is a nuisance , but at least I have two options on bench , emg Pickett , and if he fails again have Waterman who hopefully has another 78 or so!
Also have Hibberd and sticking with him , couldn’t have him or Greene last year , but now I have them I am too stubborn to move them on.Would have traded in past but now sticking to the plan.

    5

  10. I have Greene who is out this week, so have to field 3 rookies out of Fritsch, Ryan, J Higgins and Garlett
TU: Hibberd to Bonner, Higgins (Richmond) to Heeney, field only 2 forward rookies
TD: O’Shea to Bonner, Hibberd to Simpson and field 3 forward rookies

    3

    4
    1. I’ve not been forced to trade because of Greene/ZGL but it forced me to reconsider trades as I would have been forced to take Garlett.

On the upside it prevents me trading out a rookie earning cash, and certainly there I’d no guarantee of ZGL getting a quick recall after he recovers.

I’ve gone Hibberd to Simpson, and Zac Fisher in for ZGL.

Yeah it leaves me with a lot of Carlton, but Fisher and Garlett will probably be gone by the byes anyway.

  11. And as I forecast. English keeps his spot and goes #1 ruck.

Roughy injured Trenhove injured. Boyd underperforming in VFL possibly going to be dragged into the side as backup.

Ruck stocks at the doggies could be even worse than Sydney right now.

    1. I saw this too and it got me thinking about a possible Langdon -> English trade.

How long will he be #1 is the question

  12. t/u ditch fogarty for ryan
    t/d ditch langdon for ryan

leaning toward 1 due to more $ returning to chest for upgrades later
