Small or Far Away, Father Dougal on Cows

Hi Everybody!

I started work on an post about when you  should and should not take a VC score, but thanks to work, I ran out of time.  I’ll try to get that done before too long. If nothing else I will get more data!  That will probably be the last info-like thing I do this year. I’m planning to keep doing numbers until the end of July, then sign off for the year.  Cow stuff is less and important after the byes and the Hotel California Effect has kicked in.

Defenders

Sheezel: Bye.  Also, promoting  him to Steer and no longer tracking him  next week, since at this point he’s pretty much a keeper if you own him.

Ginbey:  Looks like he will peak next week.

Atkins: Darn sub rule thingy. He DPP makes him not the worst player to keep for cover, but might be better sold for cash now. Gonna lose money real soon now though, so keep or not, decide this week.

Ashcroft:  Falling from his peak. Still valuable and does play at the Gabba this week. Still, he looks to be dropping.  Not the worst player to be stuck with as M8, but still not so good you want that.

Dodgy Advice:

Last Week: Yeo is doing well, but he is made of Injurium, and therefore is a horrible risk.

This Week: Elliot Yeo is set to miss three-to-four weeks due to a hip concern sustained late in the tough loss to Sydney.

Also This Week: Marshall to Libba, keeping Briggs, using Cameron as backup.

Next week: Mills is sure getting cheap, might be worth a look….

Remember the Cow Talk guarantee: “All predictions wrong or triple your money back!”  (Offer not valid if money is actually involved.)

I am time zonally challenged.  When Cow Talk goes live, I’m probably asleep, so replies from me may take a while.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Some perfect dodgy advice there last week hahaha

Will be interesting to see your posts about taking scores from VCs

  2. Love your work – some of your recent greatest hits for me:
    – Trade in Briggs but switching loophole ruck – fwd forward…
    – Yeo … oh wait. Was scoring beautifully. Made good coin. Now needs to go…

    TU – Mills
    TD – Cripps

    Both via DPP.

    Wrong thread?

  3. Still pretty good for trades, with cash gen an issue at this time of year is it worth side swapping Ford for Sheldrick with his BE in the minuses?
    TU: Yay
    TD: Nay
