  1. I’ve got Butters, Dawson and Sweet in this one. Not game enough to use the vc/c. Looking forward to seeing how Dan Curtain goes as a prospect for two weeks time.

  2. Only 22.8% of coaches bringing in Jordan sweet and With only a handful going early what is everyone else doing!? Crazy how low that is

      1. It’s ok in one option, but, hmmmm in the other,

ie Grundy and Xerri, OK but Gawn and Xerri, Hmmmm

      1. Its no different to a 1 up 1 down strategy, provided who you trade out for him is a rook

    1. Went Liv up to Meek R3 a few weeks ago to to cover byes and make $. Now Meek down to Sweet to keep that R3 cash flowing! Will trade him down to Liv when he is done. Hope the SC Gods continue to be kind!

  3. I’ve gone Sexton->sweet.
He’s at R3 with the E on him.
If he goes large tonight I’ll trade out Marshall->Merrett play sweet at R2.
But If he shits the bed he will stay R3 and I’ll go Marshall-> English.

Marshall has to go regardless, BE of 198 and Hayes been named.

  4. Tossed up v….butters/Dawson…..settled on Dawson.
If you break down rozee, the tv is in danger

      1. You’d think if it wasn’t Showdown, he wouldn’t be.

Which makes it all the madder…

      2. Yep rozee owner. I wanted to loop him but i have a full playing bench. Not confident he gets through the night. Not at full capacity anyway.

  5. Know its not the right chat but wanted a prompt reply before being out of range tomorrow onwards…

TU: Bring in two Bont with my boost and leave only $30k next week
TD: Bring in Rogers/Garcia. Don’t love either’s JS/scoring potential, but gives me a war-chest for next week.

Other trades are Sweet and Dawson in for Z.Williams, Cadman and Powell.

  6. Sweet on 44 at half
I’m swaying to having him R2
Butters and Houston doing their job 🙂

Glad I didn’t go for Dawson on 25 at half

    1. Yep….suffering from buyers regret right now.

Hopefully Dawson can eke out a score of 80-90 and not have it be total disaster

  7. Looks like Rozee about to be subbed here … someone is going to have a lot to answer for

  8. Dawson is completely anonymous. Being a total seagull around stoppages and resting ful forward. He’s a total trap pick. Better off with Matt Crouch and his crab handballs for SC.

  9. Sweet as poison pie dammit.

A sub 80 here will complicate my (and I suspect everyone else’s plans).

    Big last quarter, fella. Cmon.

  10. Can’t believe how many people jumped the gun on Sweet ay R2 lol. Was never the right move.

    1. He is playing against a very tough scoring ruck and is still doing considerably well. Has an easier run of opponents from here.
If he scores 80 he is replacing a rookie that would be scoring 60-70 for me and allowing a player like Green into my team

  11. I saw it coming Dixon will take over the rucking. That’s why I couldn’t trust trading Xerri to Sweet as R2. Glad I held firm on that trade and back out on Dawson too. Dodged a couple bullets this week

    1. Xerri to Sweet would not have been a good move. That doesn’t mean Sweet isn’t a good in for other coaches, though.

  12. Sweet with a 9 minute bench stint this quarter. Port always been comfortable letting a key forward come up and ruck. Hmm.

    1. To be fair to Sweet, Port’s MIDs have given him absolutely nothing at stoppage. No presentation.

    2. Dixon will take the ruck whenever the ball is inside the F50. Sweet just leaves O’Brien

  13. Had Sweet R3 with the emergency … scored 71.

T/U Bring in English as R2
T/D Take Sweet’s 71 and keep him R2 (bring in Merrett instead).

I have Jackson in the forward line in case of emergency. Cheers

  14. Whats your decision Nato with sweet?
Going to play him at R2 or R3 going forward?

Bit of an underwhelming score I really wanted an 85+

    1. In a loss against a tough ruckman with crows sharking his taps sometimes I’m now too upset with a 71. Reckon when port are firing he could be a 90+ ruck. I’m happy with him R2 for now

    2. Yeah I find it a really tough call.
Was only at 61% DE and ended up with 90 AF which was 4th best for the Power, with 5th at 77

I’d want to look more into ruck contests and hit out percentage.
I still feel I’m sticking with him at R2 due to the run of opponents. Geelong, Hawthorn and North.

      1. 70+ every week is equivalent to Graham scoring for me, so it’s not really a loss.
It comes down to the decision on who to get from English or Green now

  15. IMO it’s all about promoting the game for sponsorship and people through the gates for profits. Who really gives a about health and wellbeing. Maybe if the league started to ask for please explains and large fines for players that are not appearing to be 100% and selected.
But of course Grand Finals are different……….

  16. Sweet got a boost to 74 points
As expected O’Brien won a large percentage of HOs of 40 from 74 ruck contests. He already had a 50.2% win rate coming into the game.
Sweet won 29 from 72 which is 40%

The hitout win rate is 37.3% for Stanley (41.8% for Conway), Meek 39.6% and Xerri 43.8%

Sweet played 70% of ruck contests with 80% TOG same as ROB.
Don’t see many negatives from that result
