Where and when: Marvel Stadium, Saturday, June 15, 7.25pm AEST
What it means for Carlton: After a morale-boosting victory last week, the Blues will be hoping to show it was no flash in the pan. Another win here could be massive for caretaker David Teague’s hopes of keeping the job full-time.
What it means for Western Bulldogs: The bye came at the perfect time for the Bulldogs, who had lost three straight games going into it. Refreshed and reenergised, they simply have to snap that streak against the Blues.
The stat: Due to a quirk in the fixture, this will be the third time the Western Bulldogs have met Carlton in its last 14 games.
The match-up: Patrick Cripps v Marcus Bontempelli
Two of the best young midfielders in the competition, this pair loves playing against each other and are frequently matched at stoppages. Cripps got the better of the dual in round five, winning 37 disposals and 11 clearances.
It’s a big week for: Harry McKay
The imposing Carlton forward was best on ground when these two sides last met. Simply unstoppable in the air, he finished with four goals, 20 disposals, 11 marks and five contested marks. Another performance like that could lift the Blues to victory.
Thommo’s Tip: Western Bulldogs by 10 points.

Western Bulldogs: Hayden Crozier, Toby McLean, Patrick Lipsinki, Tory Dickson
Who to C?
TU: Dunkley
TD: Cripps
comment: Macrae
Take Fyfe VC score or do Cripps as C?
Formative game for my score this week.
Got VC Cripps, Walsh, Setterfield, Dunkley, Gardner and Macrae.
Samsies!!!
there’s a late change , but i missed who it was
OUT: Round 12 Carlton
IN: Rounds 1-11 Carlton
bont & cripps starting on each other
Petrevski-Seton crapped himself in the contest n just watched the dogs walk it out of the back line ,
that wont help the blues confidence
Ahh Fck Cripps leave him alone
looks like Bont & Macrae doing a rotating tag on Cripps
Kept fyfe score. Never thought I’d barrack for a bad day for Cripps.
Hey Wighty
Took Fyfe’s score but still wouldn’t mind good score from Cripps.
Can you believe 38% of coaches still don’t own Cripps
I believe Cripps can break this
90 would be fine
*Raises eyebrow at Dunkely stats.
Dats one hot start to a game
Happy I brought him in this week, along with Fyfe, two nice inclusions!
dunks 43 pts in 20 min
My Bulldogs supporter friend always raved about Lipinski… and how he should be in the side.
Beginning to see why
There is another Doggies fan on here who says the same thing. He looks great.
na
blues dropped their bundle as soon as Petrevski-Seton stepped out the way of the contested ball & let the dogs take the footy
To anyone watching teh game, is Toby Mclean playing midfield?
He apparently had a promise he’d play more mid in the second half of the year
I reckon he’ll be dropped before he gets MID-time. That shoulder pre-byes last year has been his undoing!
Surely nobody owns him?
As for you PJ … you are so contentious. 🙂
Fck should’ve been smart and C Dunkley
jeezarse
anyone ever got 140 by half time in supercoach?
Brought Dunkley in this week. 72 SC in the first quarter. Loving life.
I didn’t based on the rest of the draw but… if he goes for 200 tonight that’s going to cover alot of sub par games against the better teams.
Actually not bothered where my C is. He’ll cover it against those who don’t have him 🙂
And normal programming has resumed…
totally. Last week they had 3 guys run amok. Sherrif Dunkley is in town and order has been restored.
Argh come on Cripps, he’s my captain and he’s going to kill my score
same i need him to lift

my captains curse continues
take that cripps
Dunkley. Just massive. And his goal was a beauty!
curnow on bont , macrae on cripps
Annoyed that I picked C Daniel over J Dunkley after planning on J Dunkley replacing L Baker for a while. But the positive is the Daniel trade allowed me to grab D Clarke instead of B Bewley.
Even Walsh is not making an impact
Dunkley going to score around 150 -190
by 3/4 time
geez , blues players are kidding themselves if they think they’re fooling any one ,
just because Petrevski-Seton ran & hid under the stairs when the heat was on ,
doesn’t mean the rest of the team can go on holiday ,
if i was a supporter i would be absolutely livid with their effort ,
no crunching tackles , no crashing packs , no head down hard ball gets ,
just waiting for the easy balls ,
yes they are young , but there is a very soft element about this team
Im going to say this Carlton should target Jarryd Roughead from Hawthorn for his leadership role and his skills on the field that can help Carlton alot
Yep…def a great pickup for a team looking to rebuild. I hear he’s getting 10 poss each week at box Hill.
by contrast Sydney Stack is 18 and bumped Viney into next week.
Still early. Felt the same way about the Saints a quarter and a half in. Last quarter pressure was enormous.
Still on
Cripps……
Dunkley 100
here come 200 +
Out of curiosity, anyone know what the record is for a half time score?
gibbons 4 😉
Cripps 16
Hope its upgraded but dunks lost 8 ppints for laying 2 tackles!
no one at cd has him
Td , don’t you have dunks, hahahaha
Obviously not 😉
sorry SCT wont let me post scores
Not watching the game, any news on Libba? Any chance he’ll come back on?
doubtful , hammy or hip by look of it
Can’t believe I didn’t stick fat with Dunks during that first month of footy!!!
yeh , is probably the best 500k i’ll spend this year i recon
yep, but spending 123k on rob and still having him aint bad either
i did the same , did a straight trade , him to danger
Was on track for a great score until “please don’t tag me”Cripps showed up to totally f&$k things over and good ol Libba going down!ffs!!!!!!
cripps had the double tag , bont & macrae
yeh be some pretty happy fyfe owners right now
And to really rub it in Dunks has stopped to a crawl
libba jarred knee
got the tracksuit on
Bugger. First trade next week me thinks
wait you have 30 trades still o_O
11 and a pretty decent team, but Libba was always just for cash
Walsh been done in tonight. 16 touches for 38 SC, cmon.
Carlton and the Dogs are putting on a game!
Carn Blues.

COME ON CARLTON!! WOOOO
caleb daniel given 50 points in that last quarter and a 14 point scaling upgrade just then is ab-so-lute effing BS!
