Game Chat – Geelong v North Melbourne

Written by Father Dougal on April 18 2021

Where and when: 4:40 pm Sunday at GMHBA Stadium. (Can’t we just call it the Cattery?)

What it means for the Cats:  Being in or right out of the 8, depending on who else does what today. And as always when playing the Roos this season – My god, if they lose what does that say about them??  A non-win would be a terrible sign.

What it means for the Roos:  Well, first win of the season. Which with each round gets more and more a thing. Their percentage is, um, 43, so wow, oh dear. Well, the Cats are not so good that they can’t be beaten by Norf on a good day.  Odds are a win doesn’t even mess up their draft much.

Supercoach Watch:

Cats:  Jordan Clark is out. Stewart.

Roos: Powell is one of the few cows scoring well, who along with Ziebell is over 50% owned.  Young, and Stephenson.

Father Dougal’s Watch:  Danger is back, although less owned.  Will be interesting to see how he does. I wanted to see how Clark did with Danger back, but that won’t be this week. Grr.

Father Dougal’s Tip:  The Cattery just means a bigger Dockers win. Cats by 30

  1. Clark as sub is Farrked.

    His BE is 36

He could lose money if he comes on late.

Some how I managed to bench him ( mid) for Jordan.

I’m sure there’s a few sweating on Kosi’s score ( to cover him down back ) today.

Gawn as C looking good early 🙂

  2. Out of interest, who’s copping a donut because of Clark?

T.U: Yep, nothing I could do.

T.D: Nope, traded to cover or had bench cover.

    1. Traded to cover and then they benched him. Ok, could live with that.

      Now they subbed him.

      WORST POSSIBLE OUTCOME

    1. Yes, If Clarke is not activated as the medical sub he is classified as DNP ( did not play) so you get your emergency’s score.

  7. Jack Ziebell was the main beneficiary of Geelong’s inaccuracy this afternoon – playing on from 13 of his 14 kick-ins.
