  1. Dyl Stephens, McCartin, Whitfield & cogs for me here but I’m more interested in hopefully watching buddy kicks his 1000th goal this evening. What a player he is and career his had over the last 17 years.

    1. Ditto maverick, walking to the stadium now am pumped. It’s a shame he’s not kicking his 1000th in a hawkers jersey but such is life. On a side note will the SCT website pay my fine if I charge on if he kicks 1000 tonight??

  3. Theres a few to watch in this one .

    I, like a heap of you have Cogs, Whitfield and Paddy Mac on field .

    I also have D Stephens who’s about to ton up on my bench, Martin ,Haynes have already , so why not you too.

    Rampe is my sneaky here to have a good game, Lloyd out means he should see more ball. These teams genuinely don’t like each other. Buddy’s milestone just adds a bit more spice. I totally muffed my last pick ( Bombers ) I do like Sydney in a close one this evening.

  4. Whitfield, Cogs and McCartin for me here all! Probably very similar to the majority, but also picked up Sheldrick after he got the nod to debut, so keen to see how he goes.

    Question for me is will Buddy kick the 5 he needs today?

    TD – No, under Friday night lights next week

  5. I scrambled panicked and tried restructuring my backline, midfield and forward line after de koning went down but took a few deep breathes and stuck with what I had. Almost reshuffled and downed Titch to a rookie and xerri up to Heeney and O’Driscoll too chappy too avoid two doughnuts on my bench going forward.. Watch Heeney go huge this game now!

  9. Just hit half time and McInerney has only about 20 SC points from 8 disposals with no tackles or marks.
    Coniglio only on 27 too from 9 disposals at 56% efficiency.
    Whitfield had a better 2nd quarter that got him above 50 SC point for the first half.

    I’m currently happy with my pick in Blakey at 53 at half. Hoping he can keep it up as he started slowly

  10. Lucky Heeney has had 4 tackles coz his 7 possessions haven’t exactly justified me putting him in front of degoey or dusty…..

      Just watched game with a Sydney supporter too.
      Hopefully Brodie delivers now but with more depth in forward line hopefully cash we save in bringing in Ward and defensive reinforcement and more depth in will pay off .

      1. nah mate – I already had Ward etc … I made the change to put the cash aside for Hewett as a correction into the Def I think… he looked pretty good … not sure on impact of Walsh coming back, but a few reckon he is one to watch this year …

        Dirty on myself though, I had Heeney all pre-season… one player I hadn’t wavered on!!! … Not your fault mate, just your post made me have that ” geee what about that moment …” … which is always not good minute before a bounce!!!
