Where and when: 1:10 pm Today at Marvel Stadium
What it means for the Roos: Lose and they are 0-4. THey are already clear on the “no finals” thing, but they played, shall we say, badly last week and even if they don;t win at least playing respectably would be good. If I remember correctly there were threats about jobs and careers post round 3. I rather expect a lot of pride lost too. At this point they have little to play for other than pride and jobs and careers, but I’d hope that would be enough. The Crows are far from unbeatable and I can imagine the Roos taking out thor frustrations from last week on them.
What it means for the Crows: Win and they are 3-1. That’s just not something anyone expected. Being t 2-1 isn’t something anyone expected! If they have finals hopes they will need to win this match. Losing to the Roos is a statement, but not the one they want to make. If they get to 3-1, well, that’s a thing and not to be sneezed at, however improbable it felt pre-season
Supercoach Watch:
Roos: Powell, Ziebell, and Stephenson. Yeah, well, them.
Crows: Rowe, Laird, Berry, Butts
Father Dougal’s Watch: Tex Walker, who else? I mean. I mean. I mean….Tex Walker, WTF?
Father Dougal’s Tip: While I expect the Roos to suck much less this week, and maybe not suck at all, I can’t tip them. That would be crazy talk. Crows by 10. (I didn’t want to be left out, so I went back and looked, and I am somehow 8-1 so far! Must have gotten the easy matches….)

Late change North :
Josh Walker is OUT
Tom Campbell is IN
Medical subs
Young (NTH)
Mackay (ADEL)
Berry or Powell on field?
both if possible
Need a big game from Simpkin. Been an underwhelming pick so far.
Don’t own Tex but interested to see if he can kick another bag
good start for you and the others that got on him early or even this round.
Definitely worth the pick up … easily convert to anyone you want in two weeks.
two goals already lol
Need a big score for Ziebell! and did you guys see on herald sun that is a possible chance Caleb Daniel might get a 1 match ban..
If so he’s gone. That on top of a 15…
He got “Bevo’d” by his own coach. Moved forward and Bailey Dale was moved back into his role in defence … something to watch. It threw him out, as he looked really off.
Young warming up on the sidelines, so it appears the North Sub will be activated early. Zurhaar looks out with concusssion
McDonald out with a pectoral muscle and Zurhaar still being assessed, so North could be a player down from the 1st quarter
Zurhaar is concussed, his is out now too
Mcdonald out with Pec injury already!
NM: Mcdonald is out sub coming in
Lots of injuries coming in North Melbourne.
Is Rowe still on the field?
Sitting on a lovely -3 and playing North, can’t do much better
he really is useless … has the SC death role as small forward … but really has looked awful every game
I’ve played him on the field for my team hoping he could show up since he was playing North. Not really looking like it will occur atm
yep, most in the same boat it seems … I had Scott as the emergency and with his poor score I put Rowe in instead … looking like a bust at this stage already … hopefully he gets a couple of goals soon … and not late in last quarter where he gets little for them …
NOt sure who this woman caller is on Fox … but (and apologies to any ladies on site) she is not a very good caller. Doesn’t seem to know the rules of the game at times and makes silly calls, based on that. Luckily the professional callers / ex players are pointing things out … after she says something wrong …
Kelli Underwood
This round is killing my SC score… players that you expect to score well ends up giving you sh*t score.
I’m seeing very few projected scores over 2000, and that’s with Gawn 276 on most people for Captaincy.
Adelaide
Reilly O’Brien 45
Taylor Walker 41
Rory Laird 35
James Rowe-2
North Melbourne
Jack Ziebell 28
Jy Simpkin 21
Tom Powell 22
Will Phillips 9
Ziebell putting in a couple of big 50M+ kicks downfield, one into the 50 to contests, but getting scored zero for them … typical CD. If it was Fyfe, Bont etc, they’d easily get scored effective
Lets hope NM can put on a decent game or win!
Wishing I knew Kosi was out before yesterdays matches. I so would have put the VC on Walker. Dominating.
Seriously what is going on with fanfooty website ?
Does not seem to work for playing matches .. Just blank white screen, tried on multiple devices too :/
Just annoying is all, im using footy wire atm, only crap thing with that is u have to keep refreshing .
Try using the match at the top of the screen instead of clicking the match further down.
Seems to only work from the top one
Great tip !!
Thanks mate
There seems to be a problem with its links.
If you click on the match icon at the top it works. If you click on the heading, or the live matchcentre link it doesn’t.
That’s my experience of it.
Oh there’s Rowe finally. Just made a tackle … I mean, I know he’s small forward and all, but gee, I was beginning to think he was really that small that you can’t see him on TV! … says he’s been on filed 90% of time …
He then gets a mark and sets up a goal!!!! Give him 40 for it to make up for the rest of the game!!!
Doedee getting back into his form from a couple of years ago. Also taking majority of kick ins it seems … could be one to watch for final D6 role??
It appears Laird is to be copping a tag from Turner and since this has occurred he has not really gained a disposal for a few minutes
Laird now appears to be slightly sore/winded after being hit after a kick.

and can see adjustments still happening … at least to the “stats” numbers … whether or not scores change will also be interesting …
Scores changed a bit. Is this proper correcting incorrect attributions or manipulating scores?
CD looks dodgier by the second.
I put Powell on the bench this week too.
:'(
smith has stopped this Q
Left knee knock in third quarter.
Rowe has finally shown up!
Rowe has woken up!
FanFooty site has serious issues this weekend. Not only is it difficult to get the scores – you also can’t click between games or go and look at other games from earlier, like you used to be able to … got some major problems it seems.
Powell tons up and is laughing at me from the bench. I stupidly played Jordan over him … upon consideration, it was probably better to play Powell against the Crows than Jordan against the Cats … not smart thinking.
I can now be somewhat thankful for the dropping of those defensive rookies as it made me move Laird back to defence for Sharp, then making me play Powell on the field

Still 45 points to be allocated … some decent scaling to come
Lachie Young having a great game as the sub which meant a lot for those Tech teams
