  1. Time for the VC on Mills!
Have a few in this playing being Mills, Parker, Blakey, Houston and Butters. Teakle would have been included if Gawn didn’t cop his injury

  2. Port playing Teakle very strangely. I assumed he would have the lion’s share of ruck duties but looks like Finlayson still playing ruck around the ground.
Last 2 throw ins in the forward line Dixon has taken them and Teaks has been sitting in the goal square.

    1. Ah Teakle into the ruck now. Moves well around the ground. Has a real dirty Draper style haircut that he needs to take a good look at.

    1. Butters also had a set shot for goal stolen from him by Rozee who elected to play on with a snap on goal after Butters had won a holding the ball free kick! Could have been on even more than the 60 he was at quarter time.

  3. Butters done a little knee hyperextension here, off getting assessed. Hopefully no damage. Walked off but was hobbling.

  4. Butters warming back up/testing
Couldn’t move a certain way so it is looking like a medial ligament injury

    1. Yep subbed out. Duursma on.

I’m starting to wonder if I will have enough trades left for the rest of the season the way this is going.

  5. Teakle is out for the game as well due to a left shoulder injury it seems. Has left arm in sling

  6. There goes my chance of a decent score with Butters and Teakle both injured, plus Parish missing.

    Please, no more SC Gods!

    1. Right on, Slats.

SC aside, feel bad for Teakle. Looked really good for a first gamer and Port seemed to had found a good ruck balance. Shame.

  7. Name a better combo than Butters looking on track for 200 before getting injured. Not what my side needed!

  9. I imagine so many of us in the same boat, only have 2 port players, both out.
My luck had been ok this season, but still feel like King Cnut fighting the tide.
Is it just me or does it feel like the balance has tipped more to the luck end rather than skill this season?

    1. Not necessarily.

For me, I think if you started Sicily, Hewett and Witts (all with upside plus good roles) over say Ridley, Whitfield and Grundy (my selections) you’d be in a very good position with trades.

  10. Not sure if Blakey is having a bad game when he is on 48 at 3/4 time yet is the 8th best for Sydney. So there is 15 that are worse than him on the same team…..

      1. Do you know how much he will lose? Could’ve done this week with the three trades…. but decided not too

        1. His break even was 89, I don’t know the calculations on what he will lose but based on that his price will definitely take a hit.

  11. Mills looking to be playing more at half/full back in this 2nd half. It has really removed him from the ball and restricted him greatly
This coaching move has really ruined his scoring potential today

    1. Still ended up getting a bit of the ball down back as an extra defender, but that is not where he should be played

    1. It would actually be an interesting poll, seeing how long members and guests of this site have been playing for.
