Expecting to go up a little bit. A little deflated after Racca and SideB well under par. Was looking at 2100 prior to that game.

Interested to see how bAps and TDA went this week!

    1. bAps killed again 2184

Kelly C and…all this with Highmore on the Bench.

His lowest on field was Newcombe’s 75

He dropped Whitfield score WTF !

  3. Lost by 21 points – if I had taken VC on. Laird and it rolled the dice with Maxy G, I would have won by 1 point! Agh!!!!!!!

  4. 1912/Wines VC/4 out of 5 league wins./ Ranking can only improve.
For the sake of supercoaches in general I hope Ratten noticed Highmores game (even though I don’t have him)
For the sake of supercoaches in general I hope Clarkson pays no attention to Ceglars performance. He plays one great game a year and that was obviously it. He should’ve now be dropped immediately so Reeves does get a game and help out those coaches who failed to reverse trade Reeves.
Traditionally Clarkson is not a supercoach’s friend though.
Bring on round 14. Could be the most interesting round in a long long time.

  5. 2024/Chook Miller 10/10 will update when available.

Great result even with no Reeves (late-ish out) traded in for a donut.

Like with Hogan, I’m working far too much to be monitoring all the late moves and it’s hurting my season a bit.

Was gonna trade in Hall, ended up going with Jelly on the hope Heeney’s score was just a one off.

It wasn’t… so Hogan and Heeney is two trades I’ve burnt when I should have just gone Hall back when.

  6. 1989 / Steele / 4264 ( up-1303 )

    8 / 8 League wins.

    Kelly great on debut.

    Whitfield not so much.

Now to sort out what to do this week.

    It’s not looking pretty.

Pretty good week. Steele captained, Jordon, Jiath, Highmore, Thiltorpe, Kelly and Coleman-Jones.

  8. 2045/Titch/4728 (2366 for round and up 2k places)

Knew I had no chance of fielding a team next week so loaded up this week for some short term gain. Traded in Kelly, Hall and Newk for a real positive and had I had $300 more, would’ve traded young Tom to Whitfield. Sometimes you win.
Played with 23, dropped out Impey, Heeney, Kosi and Bianco and had Jones on the bench. Next week no money and only 13 warm bodies at this stage (pending selections) so good luck with that.

  9. 2184 / VC Jelly / #1 (up 8 spots)

Pretty happy with the Jelly trade this week, not happy with Whitfield however – he didn’t even make my best 18 scores! I could have taken Highmore’s score and skipped Whitfield, but thought I’d play it safe and just get him in.

    1. Probably the good long term move bAps.

Shout out for the top spot mate, now hang on to it. (with no disrespect to Amir, Zac and Co.)

  10. 1977/ VC Steele/ 2799

Overall a nice round and went up 769 spots in the rankings. New signings CCJ, Hall and Newcombe all success, Whitfield not so much. Happy with 7/7 league and finally got a win in gun regulars #1.

+3s Treacy delivered again! Hall, Stewart, Phillips (lol) newcombe Llaird and Steele
-3s Bianco (wtf man), Whitfield and L Jones

Overall doing okay, got 13 trades left with 370k left. Looks like 2 midfield upgrades this week then Bolton and Danger in next week.. Like everyone else im gonna struggle this week but am feeling good about the long run. If madden and reeves could play it would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Mad recruits bar Whitfield, Tom. Nice work.

Treacy keeps delivering for you lol.

Do you think Reeves comes back in? Surely not after Ceglar’s performance and the post-match praise from Clarkson that followed?

      1. Its a tricky one GD, I was not excited with reeves out on a sc level and as a hawks man. However, he was seriously impressive on Friday night. Hickey has been fantastic this season however the McEvoy Ceglar combo nullified him really well in an area in which we’ve struggled this year. I’m really hoping Reeves comes back this week but not feeling super confident.

Treacy on the other hand has been fantastic, he’s going to dangerfield the week after his bye when he hits 250k.

        1. Yeah, I don’t think Reeves comes back in unfortunately. Like you mentioned, Ceglar and Big Boy did a number on Hickey.

  11. 1968 / Gawn / 221 (+23)

Bringing in Hall worked. Bringing in Whitfield not so much.
Bringing in Newcombe early worked. Bringing in Rosas not so much (cash grab brain fart).

Anyway, I freed up $455k this week and should be able to do 3 upgrades and field at least 16 or 17 (maybe 18), assuming that Jones, Newcombe, Weightman, Waterman and Rosas are named.

    1. Wow, Emile. To get 16-18 in R14 is gonna be hella competitive, nice work.

Good to see more people are jumping on Hall. So fun to watch, isn’t he!?!

      1. Cheers GD!

I hadn’t watched Hall until I caught the second half of Saints vs Roos a couple weeks back. He struck me as one of those athletes who just moves at a different speed to everyone else. Just wish I’d brought him in a month ago!

        1. Yeah, they love his run and carry.

You’ll notice he sets himself up for the 1-2 a lot. Defintely VC’s himself lol.

  12. 1876/Gawn/8883 (+270)

Usually like to shoot up during the byes, but held rank again for the second week in a row. This time it was just Jones, Heeney, Bianco and Lukosious that held me back.

Everyone else, including recruit Miller, was great.

    1

    0
      1. Had Heeney for 86, 128, 55 and now 42 (78 av.)

Given my trade situation and how dynamic he is when fit and covering the ground, I’m fine to push him to F6.

Week off will do him major good.

  13. 2020/Oliver/234 (improved 104)
Luckily had the option to loop Highmore but traded Rozee to Heeney a week ago. Wanted to trade in Steele but forced to take Kelly with bye structure, which turned out ok.

  14. 1836/Steele/9004

Left 68 points on the table by failing to loophole Jones/Highmore. Ended up benching May for zero gain. Plus another 21 choosing Steele as VC over Jelly.
And the previous week’s trades of Flynn to Reeves, Jiath to Whitfield & Jordon to Heeney turned out to be an all round disaster. Another 161 points down the drain there. Everything I touch turns to $h!t recently, so I might just step away from the app for a week. Don’t particularly want to see next week’s score anyway.

    1. Argh, tough week Spoon.

Props for posting. Always have mad respect for those who have shockers runs and still post.

Better luck coming out of the byes.

Choosing Whitfield over Hall then trading Highmore were two shockers this week, but ultimately happy to move up in rank for first time since Round 9.

  16. 1863/Laird/9395 (up 94)

Another week of treading water. 5/10 league wins. Down 7 spots in SCT group.

Four trades this week resulted in 2 wins and 2 losses. Hall and Newcombe in…good, Reeves in and trading CJ for Whitfield…not good.
This week’s definite trade…Jordon out and Walsh in gives me 16 warm bodies (17 if Reeves plays… doubtful).

Often see when guys just post when they get a good score, been tracking along ok all year, a good bye round last week, sometimes we just fall in a hole :)) probably had 15 onfield round past, like most bought in Reeves, 12 from Murphy didnt go unnoticed, gather the pieces up later in the week and get back into the top 1000 soon

Decent week for me however Jordan – Whitfield trade perhaps not so good!

    Studs:

    Dusty
    Gawn
    May

    Steele
    Laird

    Duds:

  19. 1836/Steele/1389 Down from 1007

The Good: New recruit Hall, Flynn an emergency over Reeves. Mitchell inconsistent season continues with a good game. Traecy and Coleman-Jones good scores for rookies. Captaining Steele over Oliver and winning my League match by a couple points.

The Bad: New Recruit Bianco dud game, Heeney after a good start didn’t do much afterwards. Impey and Jones, yucky scores. Murphy getting injured but his score wasn’t required.

Next week should have 16 playing without trades. 18 if Reeves and Guthrie play. So might bring in Newcombe for Poulter

New recruit Miller somewhat offset bringing in Reeves literally as SC was adjusting his status.Improved 17k so far during byes, will field 18-19 this week so hoping for another jump.Good luck SCTers for this horror round and well done Baps!
