Riley Thilthorpe (non-Covid illness) Ready for Rd 1.

Rory Laird (broken hand) 3-5 weeks

Shane McAdam – Unavailable

Lachlan Murphy (neck) – Test

Paul Seedsman (concussion) not known

BRISBANE –

James Madden ( knee/shin) Bruising and expected to recover for round one.

Keidean Coleman and Deven Robertson both hamstring injuries and are doubtful for round one.

Dayne Zorko (ankle) fitness test for round 1.

CARLTON – 

Sam Walsh ( syndesmosis) Liam Stocker (syndesmosis), Caleb Marchbank (knee) and Josh Honey (knee).All unavailable.

Caleb Marchbank and David Cuningham are longer-term injuries with ACL injuries

Will Hoskin-Elliott (hip and groin) Landed awkwardly during training Monday and will face a fitness test Wednesday. Expected to play,

Harry Jones (ankle)– Torn ligaments occurred at training. expected to miss 4 weeks.

Michael Hurley (hip) and Zach Reid (foot) are long term injuries.

Mitch Duncan, Tom Stewart, Sam Meneogla, Jack Henry, Gryan Miers and Jonathon Ceglar  are all unknown for round one.

GOLD COAST –

Sam Day (wrist) Available

Mabior Chol and Jeremy Sharp both hamstrings and are expected to play.

Connor Budarick (knee) Matthew Conway (knee) return to training this week.

Charlie Constable (abductor) 2-4 weeks

Bodhi Uwland unavailable indefinitely as he continues to recover from a stress fracture in his back.

GWS –

Jesse Hogan – Gives himself a 50-50 chance of playing round one.

HAWTHORN – 

Will Day (ankle) Expected to miss early part of the season. Sam Mitchell said “the club didn’t have a solid answer as to when Day would eventually make his return to the field.”

Jaeger O’Meara (knee), Chad Wingard (ankle) and Tom Mitchell (groin soreness) All set for round one.

Changkuoth Jiath (PCL) Training well and decision to determined later in the week. “We’re really, really hopeful.” Rob McCartney

PORT ADELAIDE – 

Charlie Dixon (ankle) – Requires to get through training and a fitness test to be eligible to play Rd 1.

Miles Bergman (shoulder surgery) Heading towards Rd 2 return.

Trent Dumont (concussion) Likely to return via SANFL

Tom Clurey, Orazio Fantasia and Kane Farrell – all still out with knee injuries

RICHMOND –

Dylan Grimes  (Thumb) is pushing for a surprize Rd 1 start after impressing while taking part in contact work and some match simulation. “Dylan’s responded really well,” Hardwick said. “We probably thought he’d be some form of doubt for Round 1.”

Nick Vlastuin (hamstring)

“Nick had a bit of a setback so he’ll probably miss a couple of early rounds, which is a little bit disappointing, because it’s such an important player,” Hardwick said on Tuesday. “We want to make sure when he comes back he’s right to go.

Jack Graham (hamstring) Graham will need to prove his fitness in the coming days.

Kane Lambert (hip) Still several months away.

ST KILDA –

Hunter Clark (AC joint) and Jack Billings (hamstring) Still weeks away.

Luke Shuey (hamstring) Recovering well but will undergo a fitness test Thursday.

Jack Darling (foot ligament) 4 weeks

Tom Joyce (ankle) “We had a good hit out on Friday, but lost a few to niggles. Tom (Joyce) was up for selection, but unfortunately now he won’t be.” Adam Simpson

Tim Kelly – Will miss Rd 1.“Tim is under the health and safety protocols. With that, we will announce with team selection. But at the moment he is under the protocols.” Adam Simpson. Tim Kelly tested positive on Monday for covid so his isolation recommences.

Oscar Allen (foot), Greg Clark (shoulder), Jamie Cripps (pectoral), Dom Sheed (ankle) and Elliot Yeo (ankle) are all unavailable.

Alex Witherden will miss through suspension.

Liam Ryan – Has recommenced health and safety protocols. Will miss Rd 1.

 Rhett Bazzo – Has started health and safety protocols. Unavailable Rd 1.

Luke Edwards (groin) and Zane Trew (shin soreness) are on light duties.

WESTERN BULLDOGS –

Tim O’Brien (hamstring) A chance to play.

Alex Keath (shin-brusing/soreness) Head of Medical Chris Bell believes Keath should be available for the season opener.

    Just trying to do my best.

    It took me a lot longer to correlate all the information on injuries than I would have liked but it is done for now.

    Of course I will be updating injuries in Coaches box and here.

  4. Tom Stewart and Jack Henry both very likely to play, we’ll see if this affects DK.

    Duncan and Menegola 50/50. Menegola more likely, they may give Duncan an extra week due to age.
