Adelaide:

Brodie Smith (concussion) TBA.

Ned McHenry (concussion) TBA.

Andrew McPherson (hamstring) Test

Zac Taylor (thumb) 1 week

Riley Thilthorpe (knee)  Test. Missed SANFL last weekend due to Health and Safety protocols. Unlikely to be ready for AFL.

Paul Seedsman (concussion) Indefinite.

Rory Sloane (knee) Season after rupturing the ACL in his right knee.

 

Brisbane :

Eric Hipwood (knee) 1-2 weeks.

Kai Lohmann (ankle) 5 weeks.

Jaxon Prior (knee) Test. “Jaxon Prior has also escaped serious injury after Sunday night’s clash with Sydney with further assessment confirming a cork to his right knee and that he’ll be available for selection for this weekend’s game against West Coast.” Brisbane Lions GM Football Danny Daly

Joe Daniher (shoulder) 4-6 weeks. Scans results indicate that surgery not required.

“The outcome today is a fairly good one with Joe not requiring surgery on the shoulder and we can just focus on rehabilitating and getting strength back into it.

“While it is disappointing for Joe to miss a few games after stringing together so many consecutively, we’re confident we have the forward line depth to cover it whilst he focuses on getting back on the park.”Brisbane Lions GM Football Danny Daly

 

Carlton:

George Hewett (calf) Test. Still managing the cork to the calf sustained in Round 6. Will continue to be assessed as the week progresses and remains a test to play.

Oscar McDonald (back) Test. Has been able to train the last few weeks, but has not been able to reach 100 per cent capacity.
The Club is working on strategies to build up his training load, with a return-to-play date to be confirmed.

Josh Honey (knee) Test. Experienced some tightness when he underwent a fitness test to play VFL.  Will now be given a couple more weeks of conditioning to put him in the best position when he returns. With the VFL bye next week, he is expected to return after that.

Ed Curnow (knee) TBC. Experienced a calf strain at training which has pushed back his return to play. Expected to be available to play after the AFL mid-season bye

Caleb Marchbank (knee) TBC. Progressed into the full skills program and is building up a strong fitness base.
He will continue to do so over this next period before he eventually returns to play through the VFL.

Mitch McGovern (hamstring) 10-12 weeks. suffered an aggravation of an existing hamstring injury and will be sidelined for some time. After further consultation this week it was determined surgery would be the best approach for his rehabilitation, which occurred today

Zac Williams (Achilles) Test. Will continue to be assessed as the week progresses and remains a test to play.

Marc Pittonet (knee) 7-11 weeks. Suffered a PCL injury in Round 6.
Currently working through the best approach to his rehabilitation, is currently expected to be sidelined for 2-3 months

David Cuningham (knee) TBC. Being integrated back into the skills program.
He will build up his fitness base from here as he progresses towards a return to play in the middle of the season.

Luke Parks (foot) TBC. Currently has a mid-foot injury that is continuing to be monitored. Will be assessed again in a month to determine then if he will be available to play.

Liam Stocker (AC joint) Has undergone scans which confirmed an AC joint injury and will miss 2 weeks.

 

Collingwood: 

Jordan Roughead (finger) 2-3 weeks, has been in non-contact training but is still a few weeks away after undergoing finger surgery last month

Brayden Maynard (hand) Available. Maynard went for scans to assess a sore thumb/hand on Monday and has been cleared of any damage.

Nathan Murphy (ankle) Available. Completed a successful block of full training last week. With no VFL clash this week, Murphy is likely to make his return the following week.

Charlie Dean (foot) 6 weeks.  Went to a specialist on Tuesday afternoon for an update on his progress.

Ash Johnson (hamstring) 5-6 weeks. Is currently in a conditioning running block and will slowly progress into speed work over the coming weeks.

Jamie Elliott (shoulder) 3-4 weeks

Brodie Grundy (knee) 10-12 weeks.

Nathan Kreuger (shoulder) has had a shoulder reconstruction in recent days and is likely to miss the remainder of the season.

Tom Wilson (back) TBC. Hurt his back in the VFL last Monday and will be assessed. Tom Wilson‘s back injury has been diagnosed as a bulging disc and is consulting specialists to determine next steps.

Will Kelly (hip) 3-4 weeks

 

Essendon:

Will Snelling (Calf) 2-3 weeks

Kyle Langford (Hamstring) 2-4 weeks.

Michael Hurley (hip) Indefinite

James Stewart (Calf) 1-2 weeks

Patrick Voss (foot stress) 4-6 weeks.

Andrew Phillips (Hamstring)  Test.

Harrison Jones (ankle) Test.

Fremantle:

#Justin Longmuir has conceded that Fremantle will have multiple outs under the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols ahead of Friday night’s clash with North Melbourne at Optus Stadium.

Blake Acres, Travis Colyer and Rory Lobb – All miss due to H&S Protocols.

Josh Caddy (Hamstring) 3-5 weeks. Hamstring injury in the VFL.

Dustin Martin (personal) Test. “He’s looking really good to potentially be available for selection this week. We’ve got another main session on Thursday and all being great in that, then I’d anticipate he would be up for selection.”

Tom Brown (Corked calf) Test.

Hugo Ralpsmith (ribs) Test. “Hugo’s going really well. He’s done all of our training the last few weeks, albeit non-contact. Today, we did a little bit of work with him around the contact side of things which didn’t go too badly, but we need to probably have another look at it again on Thursday with full contact in our drills. At this stage, it’s a little bit of a questionable one for us, we’ve got to make a decision after Thursday as to whether we move forward into match play on the weekend or whether we take another week, so we’ll wait and see.”

Thomson Dow (thigh) Test. “He trained today, he’ll train again on Thursday and be available this week.”

Marlion Pickett (Hamstring) Test.

Dion Prestia (Ankle/Achilles/Illness) Test. ‘We have our main training session this week on Thursday so we’ll assess him then to see where he’s at, see if he can do some running or can participate in any skill work, so we’ll have an update after training on Thursday.”

Samson Ryan (Achilles) 1-2 weeks. “He felt good today so I’d say next week we’d be making a decision on his availability.”

 

St Kilda:

Campbell Chesser (ankle) Inactive. Season.

“Campbell has had a couple of weeks back home while he was in a boot and just in the early stages after his ankle surgery,” Finucane said.

“He’s out of the boot now and he’ll work through getting his range and getting his calf built up again, which wastes away after time in the boot.

“Then we’ll look at the preparation for running later in the season.” Head of Health Mark Finucane.

Bailey Williams (Hamstring) One week.

Willie Rioli (Hamstring) TBC. “Willie sustained the hamstring strain in the second quarter of the game and was subbed out of the game at half-time, so he’ll just be rehabilitated through his program,”Head of Health Mark Finucane.

Xavier O’Neill (Knee) TBC. “Xavier O’Neill had a minor incident early in the game, but got his leg tangled up in a tackle late in the fourth quarter. He’s had some scans but we’re going to get some further specialist opinion on how to manage this particular injury.” Head of Health Mark Finucane.

Zac Langdon (ankle) TBC. “Zac rolled his ankle in the WAFL game on Saturday and is also getting some further specialist opinion on how to best manage this injury.” Head of Health Mark Finucane.

Luke Edwards (groin) TBC. “Luke developed a bit of groin soreness after training on Tuesday. He’s had some scans and needs a period of de-load to let the symptoms settle and we’ll look at what his rebuild looks like from there.” Head of Health Mark Finucane.

Brady Hough (back) Test. Could be available this week after experiencing back spasms after training last week.

 

Western Bulldogs:
