Rory Laird (shoulder) test.

“At a pinch he could have played last week, he had a fair bit of bruising around that shoulder and swelling that wouldn’t disappear, so that restricted his range of movement,” High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.

“He’s got through everything we needed him to over the weekend and is running around really well, he will take part in most of training tomorrow and we anticipate him being available on Saturday.”

Sean Darcy SEASON (ankle) “Sean’s gone through the specialist process and we’ve made the decision to take Sean out and put him into surgery, so he’ll be out for the rest of the season.

Nat Fyfe SEASON “Nat’s foot recovery has been a little bit slower than first expected so we’ve taken the option of ruling him out for the rest of the season,”

“Nat will also go in and have a little bit of work done on one of his fingers, which was always the plan towards the end of the year.”

Gary Rohan is expected to be available for selection this week after overcoming an ankle issue.

Jed Bews “Jed will fully train tomorrow (Wednesday), and he’s been doing a lot of cross-training as well. The knee has progressed really well, but there will be a discussion that takes place post-training between our medical team and our coaching team as to whether he’s available or not this week.”

Brandan Parfitt, made his return in the VFL on the weekend after a week out following surgery on a hand fracture.

“Certainly last week we were in a position where he wasn’t running and we were managing a groin issue,” Burge said.

“He’s improved a little bit, but we haven’t managed to get back outside and running yet, he’s still not ticking off all our clinical tests medically.

“But we’re optimistic that over the next week or two we will be able to get that improvement and get him back out running.

Henry Hustwaite has been added to the injury list after injuring his ankle during a training session last week. 2 weeks.

  2. WCE: Scans last night revealed a minor hamstring strain for Luke Shuey, to miss 2-3 weeks.

    Barrass, McGovern and Yeo all a test for this weekend.

  3. Bont any doubt? Read on another forum he might have a minor foot injury? Not sure how dependable it was
