Is Hewett out this week as well?
TU: Yes
TD: No
Carlton injury list on their website.
George Hewett (Back) Remains a week-to-week assessment.
Will not be available for this weekend. (Update: 2 August)
AFL have Hewett listed as a test on their injury list.
Carlton
Nic Newman out for the rest of the H&A season with a cut knee.
Corey Durdin (shoulder) to miss at least another week
Matt Kennedy also suffered a fractured jaw that will keep him sidelined for at least a fortnight.
Collingwood: Brodie Grundy (Ankle) not available this week
Hawthorn: Mitch Lewis (Knee) Out for Round 21
Thanks for the updates, CT.
Wow, trouble over at Ikon Park. Blues at risk of dropping out of the 8, which would suck given how well they’ve turned around under Voss.
Immediate SC takeaway is that Kennedy and Hewett out brings Walsh firmly OB. No more rotations or messing around at high half forward. Lot of contested possesion slack to pick up. All on Cripps and Walsh now.
Have we any inside goss about Cogs? Hewett I can manage but if cogs out again I’m in big trouble!
