BRISBANE

Zac Bailey Scans have cleared any serious injury.

As a precaution, Bailey spent the night in hospital in Melbourne after receiving a knock to his sternum in Sunday’s match with Richmond at the MCG.

Bailey was released from hospital on Monday and cleared to fly home to Brisbane.

He will be further assessed to determine his availability

COLLINGWOOD

Taylor Adams will miss the remainder of the home and away season after scans revealed a strain to his groin.

Jeremy Howe (corked upper leg) He completed pool recovery on Monday and is expected to complete limited training on Tuesday before being assessed on Thursday.

Brodie Grundy, Harvey Harrison, Jack Madgen and Aiden Begg all returned through the VFL at the weekend.

After 14 weeks on the sidelines, Grundy played into the fourth term and collected the typical bumps and bruises sustained during a first game back.

He will also be assessed on Thursday.

Brody Mihocek (HIP) has had five days rest from running and will be assessed on Thursday.

Reef McInnes is expected to produce some good results when he undergoes fitness testing this week.

Charlie Dean will spend another three weeks in the moon boot before he begins his rehab process.

Nathan Kreuger has completed four weeks of running and will undergo fitness testing at the end of this week. He is looking likely to return to contact training and ball work next week.

Tom Wilson After surgeon review has been able to increase the intensity of his rehab program. His back symptoms have settled, and he will move into more running work and functional football training.

Ned Reeves (SHOULDER) undergone surgery on his shoulder this week and will miss the rest of the season. “We decided, with the timeline of our season in mind, that he would have surgery this week, which will allow a recovery time that will enable him to do most of the training load prior to Christmas.

Aaron Hall he had a strong footy conditioning and strength session on Sunday and will train with the main group this week.

Jack Mahony and Lachie Young  They’re at home isolating, with the club doctor monitoring their symptoms through daily check-ins. “Whether or not they’re available will be based on multiple factors. “This includes symptoms, ability to absorb exercise during the week, recent training history, and preparation leading into game day after clearing isolation.”

Jackson Archer (hip) “The plan will be for him to run today (Tuesday) and test it out at main training on Thursday.”

    Wow, trouble over at Ikon Park. Blues at risk of dropping out of the 8, which would suck given how well they’ve turned around under Voss.

    Immediate SC takeaway is that Kennedy and Hewett out brings Walsh firmly OB. No more rotations or messing around at high half forward. Lot of contested possesion slack to pick up. All on Cripps and Walsh now.
