Adelaide:

Rory Sloane (adductor soreness) Likely to return but needs to fully train on Wednesday to prove his fitness.

Paul Seedsman (concussion) ongoing.

Lachlan Murphy (neck) Test, after heavy collision to his neck where he had surgery off season.

Andrew McPherson (hamstring) Available this week.

Brisbane : 

Keidean Coleman (Hamstring) 2-3 weeks.

Eric Hipwood (knee) 6 weeks.

Oscar McInerney (Suspension) one week.

 

Carlton:

Adam Saad should exit the AFL’s health and safety protocols on Saturday.

Liam Stocker made a successful return from a syndesmosis injury through the VFL last weekend.

Caleb Serong(knee) Test. “Caleb’s knee soreness responded really well over the last few days. We’ll see what he’s available for at training tomorrow, and that will dictate his availability” Peter Bell, exec mgr of football.

Darcy Tucker (illness) Test.

Sean Darcy (ankle) Test. “Sean has made tremendous progress and was close to being available for rd 3. We expect him to fully train tomorrow, and will be available for selection this week.” Peter Bell, exec mgr of football.  “I think Darcy was pretty close to getting up this week. We’ll know more about that … but I know Darcy will be close.” Jaymie Graham

Hawthorn:

Jack Scrimshaw (scapula) Scans reveal no fracture his scapula. Scrimshaw has suffered bad bruising to his shoulder blade and will need to pass a fitness test later in the week

Lachie Bramble (foot) 2 weeks

Ben McEvoy (neck) 12 weeks. Ben McEvoy. injured at training and will miss an extended period after he fractured his neck in a collision.” No surgery required. “Once healed, this will have no impact on Ben’s ability to play football moving forward and at this stage we expect him to return to the team in the back half of the season,” Club doctor Liam West.

 

Melbourne:

Ben Brown will exit the AFL’s health and safety protocols on Thursday morning.

Kade Chandler made a successful return from a quad injury through the VFL last weekend.

Jake Lever (foot) Test.

Harrison Petty (calf) Test.

Michael Hibberd (calf) 2-3 weeks.

Daniel Turner (foot) 3-5 weeks.

Christian Salem (knee) 4-6 weeks.

 

North Melbourne :

Luke Davies-Uniacke (concussion) Test.

Will Phillips ( Glandular fever) 1-2 weeks.

Phoenix Spicer (hamstring) 1-2 weeks.

Tarryn Thomas (Internal bruising) 3-7 weeks. “Tarryn is still pretty sore so he hasn’t been able to do much yet. He’s still probably another four or five weeks away from playing.” Dan McPherson, Mgr of Football Performance.

Ben Cunnington  (Testicular cancer) Indefinite

Atu Bosenavulagi (concussion) and Matt McGuinness (foot) returned through the VFL last weekend.

 

Port Adelaide:

Sam Skinner (ankle) Test. Was subbed out with ankle strain but scans have cleared him of serious injury and is expected to be available.

Xavier Duursma (neck) Test. neck injury playing in the SANFL on the weekend.

Tom Clurey (knee) Test.

Aliir Aliir (ankle) 2-3 weeks.

Orazio Fantasia (knee) 6-8 weeks.

Robbie Gray (H&S Protocols) TBC. should be out in time for Thursday night’s game to be considered for selection

  1. Christian Petracca – “I’m all good. It’s one of those ones, I did my ACL in my first year. Every now and then, on a six-day break, it swells up so precautionary stuff but I’m fine.”

  3. Geelong: Gary Rohan (sciatica hip/back) will through a mini pre-season over the next couple of months in a bid to be ready for the second half of the season.
