Injuries Round 7

Written by Chaos Theory on April 26 2023

ADELAIDE

Shane McAdam (quad) TBC

“Shane disrupted his quad tendon where it inserts in his hip with his first kick in the SANFL game against Centrals which is unfortunate,” Crows High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.

“Because it’s right at the top of his hip area he was able to play out the rest of the game in some discomfort and was able to sprint and run, but that kicking mechanism really got to him.

“Pleasingly he was able to get through but on the scan yesterday he’d done a bit of damage there.

Hugh Bond (knee) 4-6 weeks “Hugh is going really well in terms of his off-legs conditioning, he’s doing a mountain of work. Frustratingly he hasn’t been able to run yet but we are anticipating he will run next week and from there it’s probably 4-6 weeks from playing a game,”
