  1. It would be a ballsy move to bring in Tom Mitchell this week. Return to full-time mid maybe, something to prove maybe. Back to a 110+ average from here? Worpel dropped, Ward tiring. I think the Hawks need him in there.

  2. Not a fan worp at all. Sammy isn’t a big fan of him and he’s been spending a lot of time up forward, Newcombe has taken a lot of his cbs. For a similar price you’d be much better going for bazlenka, Tom green, Sinclair, dawson or wines tbh.

    1. Agree Tom. Titch’s BE is 192

Even with a hundred this week he will be $475K next week. Hold out for a week for sure.

  3. What’s Jamieson from WCE like? Any WCE supporters with a view?

Still got STK Hayes at R3 (other issues keep coming up) and looking to utilise the cash while having someone who will help cover the byes.

TU – Hayes-Jamieson is worth doing
TD – no, Jamieson not a viable option

  4. Is it worth upgrading Ridley this week?

TU: Yes – get an in form premo
TD: No – hold your premos / trade at his bye instead

For my team – keeping Ridley will give me either De Koning or Khamis, but interested to see what people think more generally

  5. Let’s forget about Steele and Whitfield…

TU: Keep Coniglio and he will probably have to stay for the rest of the season.

TD: Trade Coniglio now with his BE of 146.

  6. Will be trading out Steele and finally Whitfield this week and can finish my back line by trading in Hewett. Or I can move Daicos to D6 for now and double upgrade mids. Either way leaves me with the same 4 onfield rookies.
TU – Whitfield out for Hewett, backline complete
TD – Whitfield out to Petracca/Brayshaw via Daicos DPP

  7. Daicos to Khamis + use boost to make happen
    TU

Wait a week, don’t use boost and go Daicos to Cleary or new rookie TD

  8. Hey guys, what’s the better option here for me?

    Brayshaw and Caleb Daniel

    Or

    Wines and Loyd

  9. Better trade to make;

    TU;
    Jack Hayes > Witts
(Sam Hayes becomes r3, however this means Rioli/rosas loophole at m8)

    TD;
    Stephens > Bontempelli
(Sam Hayes becomes r2, Nick Martin becomes f6 which means no Rioli or rosas needed on my field)

  10. Last week traded out Bowey & Dixon > Miller (via N.Daicos DDP) & Rioli
Going Steele & Ward to Laird & G.Clark.
    My current team before trades:
DEF: Sicily, Crisp, Hewett, Ridley, N.Daicos, McCartin (Gibcus, Sinn)
MID: Neale, Oliver, Miller, Macrae, Cripps, Steele, Brodie, JHF, (Ward, McComb, Hollands)
    RUC: Gawn, Preuss (S.Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Parker, Cogs, Butters, N.Martin, Durdin (M.Rioli, C.MacDonald)
$57,400 in the bank, 25 trades left, three trade boosts left
    Any feedback/advice is greatly appreciated

  11. JJ I see two options.

You could go JHF to Buku via Sinn and Play Clark on field. This will free up money for next week.

The second option is to trade Ridley as he’s out for this week. You should be able to afford either. Sinclair , Zorko or Dawson.

    Best of luck.

  12. Still cannot decide on whether to trade cogs… Everyone was red hot on trading him then teams dropped and ppl have decided they’ll probably hold.. is that cause he was named onball? Surely everyone knows that means sweet FA?

I am leaning towards holding but I’m not sure

    1. Finn I’m so tempted by this too. Just feel there are probably better options for VC.
Has a great record at Marvel recently however Mills may run with him.

  14. After the round starts tonight and I’ve used 2 trades can I use a boost trade tomorrow? Or is the boost locked out once the round starts?

  15. What would you prefer……

    T/U – Dawson, Coniglio + $142,100 ITB

    T/D – Laird, Daicos + $88,600 ITB

    Cheers legends x

    1. I’m really keen on going early on Baz, but he doesn’t fit my byes. He’s going to be $50k more expensive after his bye, has WCE next week, is playing close to 100% TOG, and 10 ppg better than the 6-7th ranked FWD. Maybe won’t be as strong this week in Ballarat, but a lock if he gets DDP. As Mills, Stewart and Gawn have all proven recently, paying top dollar for Laird doesn’t guarantee a massive score.

  17. In a quandary guys and need help.
Already have Ridley out this week- but have named McCartin emergency- so happy with that score.
But have heard murmurings Crisp is possibly out. Have DeKoning on bench as another possibly emergency.
TU- Name the 2 emergencies knowing that if Crisp ok- I’ll get the lowest score?
TD- Crisp will be ok- just stick with McCartin, but possible donut

    # Already paid for it once when Hewitt was out early days and happy with the emergency score at that time- till Ridley was a late out and I got a donut! Doh!

    1. Just put de koning on field for ridley? Which i think is the same as you doing double emergency. You potentially miss mccartins score if crisp plays, but your other option of having a donut if crisp is out is not good

  18. hey lads, trying to toss up between the following:

    N.Martin & Daicos traded out / swing libba into my fwd line and then either;
J.Kelly or Laird into my mid to complete my mid full of premos and Buku onto the bench and play Dekoing as my D6 or G.Clark into the midfield and on the filed ( id mccomb doesn’t do well /loop) and then bring in Zorko or short into my Defence completing my def.

hope it makes sense – here is my full team before trades FYI (Hayers will be upgraded after the byes )

    Siciliy,Cumming,Crisp,Sincalir,Ryan,Daicos
    B: Dekoing, Skinner

    Neale,Oliver,Miller,Mcrae,Walsh,Cripps,Petracca,Libba
    BMccomb,Hollands

    Pruess, Hayes / Strndica

    Dunkley,Parker,Brodie,Cogs,Butters,N.Martin
    Hamiltion, butler

    I have 21 trades left

    1. Also who to trade

      TU Dixon
      TD JHF

Both with BEs they may not meet, but leaning to keeping JHF

      1. Bugger. I ended up going Thompson. Should have went with my gut and chose cleary or Khamis. Thompson with a ceiling of 70 and more injury prone than fyfe should have been a red flag

been brought in this week and looks like he will go to him IMO

  21. With Taranto and Ash out, should I:
TU – keep with Cogs trade
TD – keep Cogs and trade Martin instead

  22. WARNING!!! PLAYERS NAMES TO FOLLOW……

    Broke Boak,
Dumped ROB, couldn’t wait for English, decided on Darcy over Witts,
Thinking about Capt Laird, (missed Satan) over Neale.

Tu Yes please, the majority of us don’t have him as Capt
Td No. Be more considerate and take Cogs.

Ps I was going to ask the McComb/Clark question too….

I want to loop him for Oliver’s VC score…

  24. Any update on Crisp playing for tomorrow.
If he’s out, to avoid a donut would you trade Whitfield for
    TU: Zorko
    TD: Pendelbury

  25. Taking McComb’s 78

    Who to field

    TU Clark
    TD Daicos

Gonna be pissing down here in Perth so leaning towards Clark

    3

    1
  26. Yeah I like Clark.

He had the highest percentage of CBA’s last time he played.

Daicos has been used forward lately and Freo have been pretty solid defensively this year.

    Clark for me.

  27. Preuss > Darcy worth the trade?

(It could mean i win the league match up, have Hayes 72 but it won’t be enough for a win.)

    TU: Go for the win
    TD: Take the hit
